Kiera sighed. "Yeah, i'm gone." She then took off back onto the path, where she gradually made her way out of the marshes and into town. She was soon confronted by Asher, as she sat on one of the benches in the square. "Master looks glum." Kiera raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere?" Asher shrugged, and hopped onto the bench next to her. "There wasn't much to discuss." Kiera was genuinely surprised. "Oh? I'd have thought it was the complete opposite." Asher let out a tired sigh. "No, they sent me to the demon overlord." Kiera was interested now, and looked to Asher. "And what happened then?" Asher licked her teeth. "I got bollocked. Again." Kiera chuckled. "As if the other demons weren't enough."

*Veria watched her sister leave. The looked to shorstraw. "I did not mean to seperate you..." shorstraw shook his head and walked over to her, "Veria what happened?" She shied, "no one likes me. They all leave when i show up or if i'm there they pretend i'm not. Before you left i started to feel better about it even though i am what i am... but when you left and i kept trying everyone just left, no one likes me. Even wheni try to be nice. Only you and Dontie..." Shortstraw patted her head, "Veria don't worry about what you are or not. If you worry about that nothing will work out. Just... oh i don't know. I'm winging it." He chukkled, " Just keep trying dont ever give up." Veria nodded, "i don't really mess with anyone anymore. I decided to let sister have you and stay in the background, everyones background. I have not givin up just waiting for my chance to be seen." She nodded still all that was said is emotionless. For a demon snake princess slash pyhco, she was quite depressing now when you were near her. She turned, "i will go now and find a place. See yo ulater shortstaw." She then turned and continued on a diffrent way then keria. SHorstraw now felt bad for her. He was afrade that what he said before led to this. Now not only was she horrable with certain things, she wasn't happy at all while she did them. She disgared her emtions unlike a demon, for they usally only chose one main emiotion to follow most of the time. He shied and started walking to town himself in thought.*

Asher grit her teeth together, but Kiera just snickered. "It's your own fault for agreeing to make a deal with him in the first place." Asher blinked lazily, her eyes scanning the passing public in disgust. "I knew he had something. But i didn't know he had that." Kiera shrugged and leaned back casually. "You should've known." Asher glared at her. "You knew." Kiera shrugged and looked to the store behind her. "Where'd that come from?" Asher sighed angrily and looked in front of her. "You wouldn't have taken him in in the first place if there wasn't something different about him." Kiera corrected her. "Refreshing is the word, actually. I don't like the word different. Not the right choice of words in this coexistent world." Asher flexed her paws. "I suppose." Kiera looked back to her. "So what now, then?" Asher didn't glance away. "We deal with it." Kiera shook her head. "Somethings brewing." Asher finally nodded. "That i can agree with."

*Shorstraw appeared alittle ways away walking down the street as he was thinking hard. He then stopped and looked away. He stared off for a moment and then started to head a diffrent direction... the walking became running, jumping betweenthe crouds of people quickly, somthing wasn't right. He felt somthing that was demon but nothing like he had felt before... something bigger...*

Kiera sighed, annoyed, but still sat back comfortably. Asher didn't seem to want to move either. "One of your friends?" Kiera enquired. "Friend in the lightest sense of the word. And no, it's not." Kiera yawned. "Suppose we should do something about that?" Asher looked back to her. "Can you even get up?" Kiera shook her head. "Mehh. Maybe." Asher chuckled. "No rush, then, master. It's only a potential threat to your kingdom and all. But of course, you need a little rest." Kiera made a face in response. "You don't know what i go through every day." Asher laughed at this. "I think i'm the only one who knows what you go through every day." Kiera finally stood up and slowly stretched.

*Shorstraw found himself standing infront of a large beast. This wasn't just a demon this was somthing more... somthing new. He backed up. He amlready had a hole on his arm, and his pants were all cut up. He stood there and let his hand turn to lightning, "Not a scratch even after that! What the hell are you?! Your not a demon or a yokai!" He leaped forwords as he was then swated away into a building as allt he people ran from the area.*

Kiera teleported to the area, sitting on the corner of a high building dangling her legs back and forth, only to end up scowling. Asher giggled a little, behind her, then Kiera joined it. "Well ain't you a pretty fella'." She said sarcastically. Asher would often describe Kiera's best weapon as being able to stay calm while in combat. But that wasn't even the half of it. "Sure it's not one of your friends? It has your looks, Asher." Kiera chuckled. Asher made a face. "I'd have thought it'd be more on your side of the family, with that giant a** it has." Almost too far, almost. But Kiera laughed anyway. Clearly not taking in the gravity of the situation.

*Shorstraw crowed out oft he ruble, one of the arms torn of his cloak and blood running down his face. He was really ruffed up. He stepped out and stumbled then regained his ground. He then held one hand down with his arm and his aura suddenly surrounded him again, as it had previsly int eh battle. Lightling then ingulfed around him and his dagger glowed becomeing a mightly lighting blade. He dashed forword unaware of keria and with his speed got a few hits in, but this thign was harder skined then most things... it was odd. The dagger could hardly cut through it. Hardly a scratch, and so shorstraw slid back as he pushed some ruble out the say for a kid to run. He then turned back to the creature that smashed the two reaming building in it's way. Shorstraw glared and his eyes changed, he needed to find a weakness to this monster... this wasn't a normal demon.*

Kiera brought her fist up to her mouth, pretending there was a microphone there. "Aaaaaannndd things are getting tough for Shortstraw as he struggles to find a weakness to this great monstrosity. How do you think this'll all pan out, Asher?" Asher put on a pompous commentary voice. "Well honestly Kiera the kid isn't doing too well. He's already half dead and it's been barely a minute. Where's the drama!?" Kiera chuckled light-heartedly. "Any updates on the origin of this great creature Asher?" Asher sighed. "Well Kiera still not much is known about the great brute, however it's become obvious that he's no normal opponent." "That you're right, Asher. I wonder how it'll all unfold for the unlikely saviour of souls." They both laughed at their own wit.

*Shortstaw cursed now hereing the girls. It put his foucus off. He dashed forword and started to slash at it some more, it's only avalable weakspot was inside it'self to do that..." he then jumped up, used it's shoulder to run up and dove into it's mouth, literly forcing it to swollow shorstraw, even though it wouldn't appear as somthing that happened on perpose. The creature then started to rampage further...*
*Meanwhile inside shorstraw was now sinking itnot it's masive stomach.*

Ashers eyes widened a little. "Well then. Hasn't this taken a big turn of events! It looks like Shortstraw has let himself get eaten by the big brute! The drama!" Kiera chuckled. "Lets just hope that he doesn't get churned by those digestive juices, Asher. Who knows what a big guy like that could have rumbling around in his stomach." "I dread to even think!" Kiera still swung her legs back and forth as she watched with a close eye. "What will he do?" Asher scoffed. "Well i predict that since he was unable to strike him from the outside, he may be able to strike him from the inside." "Well it's all just a bit messy, isn't it?" Asher laughed. "I suppose so, Kiera. However some people just don't mind."

*THe beast stopped and burped then continued on as he continued. there was no sign of shorstraw, infact inside he found his abilitys weren't able to help him int he crouded space... he was stuck without being able to move. Not at all like he picuted, most of the demon that could sworllow anything had a spechal stomach, but this thing... it had a real stomach somthing he didn't expect no ditect... he was in real trouble.*

Asher turned to Kiera. "Well then it looks like things are about to get a little heated then, Kiera. Shortstraw is in a pickle to say the least." She punned. Kiera just frowned at the brute. "He better not eat Shortstraw.." Asher grinned. "And now the flaming princess will join the fight! The action!" Kiera raised an eyebrow at Asher, then patted her head and smiled innocently. "I'm not the only one who's going to join the fight." Asher frowned. "Ah crap." Soon, Kiera was behind the brute, positioned with Asher as a claymore, standing on top of one of the buildings. When he was close, she attempted to drill into his back, with the help of her gauntlet and Asher's own demon energy. When the hole was big enough, and when the brute would have actually noticed, she climbed inside, and tore a hole through the brutes stomach from behind. "This really is as messy as it looked." "Well you did say so."

*Shorstraw could feel the change on his left size and pushe dhis back towords it giving hims just enough space to... the wound started to light up blue, showing shorstraw was now able to attack inside thanks to kerai getting more room his back was almos seeable int he pink flesh the crute stopped and started to try and slam it's back on the groung as suddenly it's eyes and mouth glowed bluish aswell and surly to say the brute explodded alover the place, sending shorstraw flying high up into the air, destaned to fall ontop of some jagged rubble.*

Kiera and Asher were also flung against the wall of the building they came from, and she slid down to the floor, coughing a little. She stood up, and Asher shifted back. "Ow. That stung a little." The bits of brute rained upon them both, and she wasn't very pleased. However she was quick to react with Shortstraw, and Kiera clapped her hands together dramatically only to show that when her arms parted, two great wings flooded in their place. Her whole body shifted into a Kiera sized phoenix, and she beated her way to catch Shortstraw before he hit the ground. She grabbed him with her talons, then set him down on the floor carefully. However she liked being a bird, and as she set down herself, her head twitched from side to side as she folded her wings to her sides again. Effectively, she looks like an overgrown fiery falcon. Although of course, with a longer tail and wingspan.
