Yay! Hey, now's a great time to use me for free labor, since I'm going to be drowning my sorrows in Gaia! Whee! Waiting on friends to appear. So far, I've met nice people, so hopefully, it won't be long! I just saw this now... you have nothing to be afraid of. College is notorious for providing you with all sorts of great friends! Yay! So far I've been doing my best. I think I made a friend, except she kind of scares me. Hey, what can you do. Haha! Haha! I was the scary friend in college... my first college friend I ever made I made by walking up to her and announcing that we would be friends because we were both gingers, both short, and clearly both awesome. It takes all sorts to make up a campus ;D Haha, no way! I'd be like, "I'M A GINGER! We're friends now." At first, I was really got along well with her, until we realized that I was timid as a mouse and she was a flirt. Then she went to go smoke pot with a bunch of people she just met. She's really nice, though, so you never know! ^_^

PinkieKitty Haha, no way! I'd be like, "I'M A GINGER! We're friends now." At first, I was really got along well with her, until we realized that I was timid as a mouse and she was a flirt. Then she went to go smoke pot with a bunch of people she just met. She's really nice, though, so you never know! ^_^ Pinkie is timid? Say what? Just let that inner confidence shine! And you never know smile She may prove to be awesome or, if she only proves to be kind of awesome, you will meet more awesome people! I actually met my best, best, BEST friend, who is more than a sister to me, through that college friend I mentioned... so yeah, you definitely never know. Just gotta keep an open mind.

College is awesome! I met my three best friends (Chibi, Malomy, and my roomie who's not on Gaia) at the all-girl college where I did my undergrad. I was soooo homesick that first semester (and I was only a four-hour drive away from home), but classes and being in theater in my spare time really helped. By the time I was a senior, I didn't want to go anywhere...I cried when I graduated!

Mademoiselle Alvinette College is awesome! I met my three best friends (Chibi, Malomy, and my roomie who's not on Gaia) at the all-girl college where I did my undergrad. I was soooo homesick that first semester (and I was only a four-hour drive away from home), but classes and being in theater in my spare time really helped. By the time I was a senior, I didn't want to go anywhere...I cried when I graduated!

I totally haven't really posted in the guild here besides the suggestions thread.
But I do have ambitions for this years ball, inlcuding maybe becoming a co host to a room or something.
I usually try to chat but, for some reason I like staying inside the subforum I inhabit like a hermit.
Anyways I see we are on the college topic/friends?
I went to college, it....was interesting. I made 1 friend. xD. I'm just very Anthrophobic irl.

Don't even start! I have heard so many people tell me they wish they had "asian hair" or "asian thin-genes" or "asian smarts" Very stereotypical, but still. You happen to be a part of one of the most highly envied ethnicity!

It's very difficult before college to really know who you are, but when you're surrounded by so many different people you'll come to realize that there's nothing to hide about yourself and, hence, no reason to still be shy. Some people may be shy their whole lives, but if you're wonderful (and of course you are) there's no reason to be timid about it! Just wait till you have a group of friends who accept you as easily as you are accepted online and you will see!

That's what you say if you're not Asian. I only happen to be one of thse stereotypical categories, and that's due to years of my mom making me study and stuff.
My hair is the most unmanagable hair. Ever. It's thick, frizzy and gets split ends like CRAZY. And I have a lot of it. So, before I went with my ultra-layers, a good ponytail would be the size of my wrist. And I'm big-boned, so my wrist is Not small, in any way. XDD
And my "thin-genes" have failed me. Or at least failed my thighs. 50cm, missy. And that's stretching the truth.
Haha, I guess it goes back to that old saying, "Everyone wants what they can't have". Like, if I had a choice, I would be a white ginger with light blue eyes and pale skin.
Meaning almost the complete opposite of what I am now. XDD

Hahaha, oh my gosh. I am pale, blue eyes, (covered in freckles ><) and have red-ish hair when I don't dye it. It's not ginger anymore, though. All the women in my family tend to get really dark hair when they reach a certain age, it's weird. I'm not a dark brunette, though the red is still there in the summer when it lightens. Of course when I was small I had blonde hair... white people are weird, Spotted... don't envy us. Also, another weird thing about white people: how many other ethnicities have different shades of hair colours? Weeeeeeeiiiiiiirrrrrdddddd!
