When she asked if she made him happy, he blinked a couple times, then smiled again, "Yes. I mean no. Happy doesn't begin to describe how I feel when I'm with you." He paused and swallowed the lump in his throat. "When I'm with you, I feel complete. Like, the whole world could be against me, and as long as you have my back, I'll be fine. I was lost without you. But you came back to me." He looked into her eyes and smiled, his bright blue eyes an open portal to his soul. He wanted to share everything with her. "Verily... I... I just... I'm so happy you came back.".....keep talking while I'm walking away all that bullshit you talk might work a lot

Ver continued to trace the contours of his face as he spoke, her smile growing with every word. She watched him quietly for a few moments, enjoying the silence and the ability to just study every part of him. She sighed happily, and pressed her lips against his cheek, and then his nose, chin, jaw, and finally his lips. She pulled away after only a few seconds and just smiled at him. "I'm glad I came back too." She whispered. "Everything was so pointless without you next to me. The world was dark and cold and nothing made any sense. But when you're standing by my side the entire world could be crumbling around me, and I'd be okay, because I know, no matter what you'll be there to catch me when I fall and..." She paused, trying to find her words. Everything about him was just... perfect to her and for her. She didn't know if she had words to describe it, but she knew she'd find them sooner or later. Through him, or her music, or both. "I'm not afraid to be weak in front of you Erik. Which I know doesn't sound like much, but trust me, it's a huge deal." She shrugged, still smiling and just kissed him again.

So don't stress, don't cry, we don't need no wings to fly.Cameron scratched his thigh quickly before answering Elli's father. "I, erm, y-yes," he spurted out nervously. Cameron stuttered, not because he wasn't sure if he cared about the girl, but because her father made him extremely anxious. The fourteen year old nodded his head quickly a few times as an answer to the man's many questions. "Yes, sir," he added stopping his head from bouncing up and down. Great, now he's gonna think I'm stupid, he thought, disappointed with how he was handling the situation.

He touched her cheek, lovingly stroking it. He kissed her again, this one a longer kiss, needing her lips against his. "I'll always catch you when you fall. I'll be everything you need me to be. Because I want to always be by your side. I never want to leave your side again. It seems you're having some trouble in dealing with these changes. Michael watched silently as the boy stuttered through his words, nodding his head like a dope. He glanced at Elli, before returning his attention back to Cameron. "Good. You come from a good family I'm assuming? How'd you meet my daughter? " He asked watching Cameron with a stern unmoving look. He was watching Cameron so intently that he didn't even notice the look Elli was giving her boyfriend. Elli internally groaned as her father brought up the one thing she hadn't warned Cameron about. Of course he would bring up family and blood lineage right off the bat. She wanted to beat her father with Cam's beater bat right that moment, but instead she looked at Cam, pleading him with her eyes to not mention his blood. She didn't one bit about blood. She never had, but her father... he was a different story. He'd come around sooner or later, but that was to many things for him to dislike all in one go.Ver smiled almost shyly at him when he told her'd always be strong for her. She giggled as he leaned closer to her, and smiled throughout his kiss. When he pulled away to speak, the smile slipped from her lips for a second. She wanted his lips back against hers. She loved the electrifying feeling he gave her with every kiss. The smile was back in full force though at his words. "You don't always have to be strong Erik. I can be strong for you too sometimes." She whispered, kissing his nose sweetly. She blinked grey eyes at him, still smiling a silly grin. "I want you by my side all the time. I want you when your happy or sad. I just want you. All the time. You're already everything I need you to be, and I'm going to try my best to be everything you need me to be."Get up, come on get down with the sickness

He wasn't sure what the man meant by a "good family," but he definitely didn't think it meant a pureblood family. "I met her at school. We're in the same house," he explained.

It seems that all that was good has died, and is decaying in me
It seems you're having some trouble in dealing with these changes. Michael nodded his head slowly, contemplating the things he had learned. With small smile of something akin to satisfaction, Michael turned, kissed Elli on the forehead and disappeared through an arch down a hall and around a corner. He said nothing more. For now. Elli blinked as he father walked away and then smiled at Cam, hugging him. "See, that wasn't so bad." She said, keeping her arms wrapped around his neck, and staring up into his eyes happily. She was expecting a lot more questioning and coldness and staring from her father, so she was quite pleased with how it had all turned out.Ver blushed just slightly as his fingers brushed against her cheek. His touch was so gentle, but she could practically feel the love and care he radiated just from the simple light touch. A small squeak flitted from her lips as he pulled her closer to him. She smiled and nuzzled into his chest, his words making her blush, and smile, and making her heart beat wild. "You're all I need Erik. I never want to leave your side ever again." She looked up at him from his chest, smiling warmly. She was still trying to figure out how she had survive those months without him at her side. He seemed to be the only one around that would hold her up when she was falling down. Maybe that was why, she'd fallen so far when they'd been apart. Get up, come on get down with the sickness

Ver's eyes slid shut as he kissed her. She could have stayed there forever, kissing him, cuddling him, just being near him, but of course that wasn't going to happen. If her eyes had been open she would've been scrambling away from Erik as fast as possible, but they weren't and so she didn't see her dad enter the room. She had no idea he was there until, "Ehem!"Michael cleared his throat, glaring at Erik viciously, and watching his daughter sternly. Verily squeaked, when she heard her father, immediately pulling away from Erik and sitting up to stare at Michael. "Er... Hi daddy...."She muttered, wringing her hands together nervously. Michael said nothing for the moment, just continued to glare at Erik. The boy was making out with his daughter in her room, right underneath his nose? Michael wasn't sure if he was furious or wanted to commend the boy for having guts. It was a bit of both, but definitely more furious.

Verily scurried away from him and Erik felt a blush rise to his cheeks. You're boned... He turned to look into Michael's harsh glare. "Sir I..." Brave and scared... Let's go with brave. He stood up from Verily's bed and met Michael's glare with his piercing blue eyes. "Sir, I really care about your daughter. I know we're young, but I'd go as far to say I love her. She means the world to me, sir, and I'd give my life to protect her. So, what I'm saying is, I'd like your permission to ask Verily to be my girlfriend." Cameron wondered, still staring in the direction that the man exited. When his girlfriend piped up, he turned his head to her. "That was terrifying," he mumbled as he slid his arms around her back. However, he wasn't holding her tightly because Michael could walk in again at any moment and frankly, the man scared Cameron. If he came back into the room for whatever reason and actually saw his thirteen year old daughter embracing with a boy one year older than her, maybe he would flip out even more. That was definitely not something Cameron wanted to risk.

It seems you're having some trouble in dealing with these changes. Michael stared in surprise as the boy stood up and met his glare without an ounce of fear. The boy definitely had guts. Michael would give him. That he listened to Erik's words silently. He stayed silent for a few moments, thinking the boy's question over. "You'll treat her right?" He asked, staring down at the boy with his stern gaze. "Never hurt her? Look out for her always?" He asked, her voice a low protective growl. Ver just watched silently as Erik confronted her father. When she heard his words, she stared at him silently. She glanced at her father, looking at him with pleading eyes. She could hear it in his voice though. Her father liked Erik, and definitely approved of them. She sighed quietly in relief and waited for Erik to answer her father's questions so her father could give him permission. Elli blinked as Cam mumbled and shook her head with a small smile. "He's not that scary Cam." She whispered, kissing his cheek gently. "He's just a bit old fashioned and a bit overprotective of me and Ver." She shrugged and leaned against her boyfriend quietly. "Probably has something to do with him having no control over Michelle... I dunno. But don't worry. If he hated you, he would have kicked you out of the house or something along those lines."Get up, come on get down with the sickness

He never had to deal with an overprotective father before, but that was mostly because he never dated anyone. He has had crushes before, but he never asked any girl out due to the fact that he always became too nervous to do it. When the redhead leaned against him, he leaned the side of his face against the top of her head. Finally, I'm tall enough to do this, he thought with a slight grin. For once, he was actually content with his height. "That's a plus," he said, glad he hadn't been kicked out or really yelled at or anything. "So, Michelle isn't coming to stay here?" he asked, remembering a past conversation between him and Elli about the Slytherin and how she would rather stay at some cottage.

He answered the stern gaze with one of acknowledgement. "Sir, Verily has captured my heart. I'll always treat her properly and with dignity. I could never hurt her. I would gladly lay down my life to protect her." He turned his head to look at Verily and smiled, a light blush rising to his cheeks.
