I sigh, and finish my soup. I will have shown my heart to her, yet I get not one word of support. Looks like I will have to stand on my own two feet, and not lean on anyone when I have a limp, and crawl if I can no longer walk.

"All right, everyone," she says. "Buddy up. And you—" she looks at Chi "—can either room with one of this lot, or you can room with ME. Your choice."

I walk up to Ayumu. "Is it okay if I room with you?" I ask in a slightly shy voice. "How do you reckon the beds are set up? A pair of beds... bunked... maybe one large bed..." I start to think out loud.

She giggled and held her hands together" of course its ok, though I might have to invade your bed...if there is something scaring me i hope thats ok"she said looking down knowing some things did scare her though not much did.

Seeing that Nekora and Ayumu were planning on pairing up, Chi was being a boring person already, and Misaki was busy getting an important apology out of the way, I decide to go up to Yuin/Emmy. "Hi, I haven't properly introduced myself yet; I'm Jake Amser, but you can call me Jade now!" I say cheerfully and make my best attempt at a curtsy.
