Janis sighed. "You haven't been mean. I've just been touchy. I'm sorry." she said. "Come one. I've got everything else here."
She opened the door for him then followed him to the basement.

Janis rolled her eyes. "It's stew. I figured it would be easy to eat after you've been asleep so long." she stated.
Samson sat up and smiled. "Thank you. It smells delicious."
Janis passed around food and drink, sitting down only once every one else was settled.

Janis handed him a steaming bowl and sat down beside him with her own. It was silence for a few moments. Janis finally spoke.
"You said you were going to explain something to me?" she said, looking between them both.
Samson was eating his stew with good appetite. In fact he was starving. Half his bowl was empty now. However he paused at her question. "Yes, we were. It was just a few this about being a female dragon that we told we should make clear." he explained, He glanced over at Cornelius to see if he still wanted him to explain.
Janis followed Samson's gaze briefly. She got up and refilled his bowl. HE smiled gratfully.

Janis had to take a few minutes to let that settle in. Samson let her take her time. He was in no hurry to rush her. He was able to just enjoy his food. They both ate the rest of the food and thinking.
Finally she looked at Samson. "What else is there that I need to know?"
Samson smiled kindly and handed her bowl over to her. Janis busied herself while he started to talk needed to to something. She never could sit by idly when she was nervous.
"Well, you probablem will still figure things out as you go. As will anything someone telling you and experiencing it are two different things. We've pretty much covered the stuff that pertains to you as a female. What about your attribute?"
"I'm a water dragon. Found that one this morning." she answered quickly.
"That's fitting." he chuckled. "I am of the wind. Each element comes with it's own abilities. I'm sure you've found out some already."
They continued their conversation for some time. When the question finally ceased she smiled. "Thank you. I guess I should let you get some rest though." she said.
"It was my pleasure." he nodded.

She left him with the dishes. She'd wash them later, but for now she wanted to see how Cornelius was doing. She felt like being a litte daring too. Instead of changing before hopping off the cliff she jumped and changed. it was quite exhilirating.
Janis landing softly not far from where Cornelius was working.

Janis looked at the hole he was digging. "I seems like a big job to do in one day. Can I help?" she asked. She would hate to get in his way. She looked around his at the hole and considered. "If we wet the dirt will it be easier to dig? Or perhaps that would be messy." Janis smiled sheepishly. She didn't want to leave such a big job for him to do alone without at least a little assistane.

Janis smiled feeling proud of herself and happy he agreed. She blushed however at his next suggetion. "I think I will." she answered with smile of her own.
With that she turned at flew off toward the lake. It didn't take long and she swallowed as much water as she could one there. Soon she was back, ready to help.
"Hey move over for a second." she asked. Once he did she sent out a jet of water to help soften up the dirt and rocks around the entrance. This continued off and on throughout the rest day. She did her best to make the job easier and not get in his way too much. He was very good at what he was doing.
Finalyy she looked up at the darkening sky.

Janis considered and smiled. "I think it's perfect. It could use a little more cleaning though," she chuckled and nuzzled his cheek. "It's amazing that you did this in one day."

Janis hesitated for only a second before she walked over and layed next to him. She leaned against him slightly as she curled up against his size.
"Sleep well. I love you." she whispered, laying her head down.
