Time to add to this thread. Here are the following projects I'm working on at this moment:
GNG: Designing the Gaia-World-Map image of GNG's recruitment outpost.
New Project: working on a new project with Sao, possibly based in the Gaian Army subforum. Developing backstory, developing logos for two factions (as per Antag).
...once both projects are done, I'll open up the GNG recruitment threads in the GGN:SDRP forum and the Registered Guilds forum.

Progress so far: and a rough sketch of the outpost, gotta re-layout everything and reshape the island. there will be patrolboats speeding along the water, but nothing in the air I think...the Gaia Map fisheye lens would make even a fanjet take up the entire screen. This map is designed to join with the Barton Cliffs map at its NW corner.

Or maybe even in its own subforum 3nodding Found the old laurel coin psd files, so gave a few quick coin updates: Look, they're transparent! Oooh~~ heart I'll probably play with them a bit more once I have more time. The ASDF one looks a bit dated now, compared to the other two sweatdrop EDIT: How's this? question My two misgivings with this one is that because we have data at the top of the coin now, it won't line up with the other two nicely, and Defense Force might need to be brought up to the coin's lip (thus unbalancing it at the same time)

Nice, although it would make them cooler if each unit had an animal to represent it. Like the Navy can have a dolphin, Orca, shark, etc., the ASDF the planet Gaia in the background and lastly the Army some sort of powerful predator. All would have the Gaia wing connected to it and look all pretty and stuff.

these are for the branch logos, kinda like what you'd see if you saw an Air Force press debriefing. I imagine each unit within the branches would have their own variation on it, where they could put their animals if they wanted to 3nodding

Second: Perhaps you could split the names into two lines each below the insignias? Third: Perhaps they would work better in an arm-patch style? With solid backing material that rides the curve down like an expanging comet aura and ends in a flat base? 3nodding

More awesomeness. whee Honestly, I like the stencil-lettered ASDF coin best.
I dunno about D5 having its own subforum, though. I figure that if it starts cluttering the main forum, it can have its own.

Good to know 3nodding For the second, would that be like

If so, I tried that...but it ended up being too heavy at the bottom. sweatdrop The third one sounds marvelously descriptive...but I can't seem to picture it sweatdrop Got any Google image examples? This can all probably be made moot if I'd just update the stencil letter coin...which I'll do ninja Sounds good Sao 3nodding I've got the logo of Chaos Seed in my mind clearly now btw, but the execution will be more difficult than these coins sweatdrop The logo will be a sprouting seed, with the stalk spiraling slowly inwards, ending in seven leaves which are actually eyes. The eye part is based on the SEELE logo from Evangelion.

And here it is... the Chaos Seed logo @_@ The logo was ICly designed for video, so does not fall under traditional graphic design rules (which calls for things such as xeroxability)
