From Long Journey (Fort Ammoa) Post 135 Chael walked onto Route one, hungry and tired. Luckily the morning was cool, which was refreshing. Post 136 A Skitty passed Chael as he made his way into Blyse City's Pokemon Center. Giving his Pokemon over to the nurse he swiftly entered the bathroom. He placed his head in the sink and let the water run. Clean, he changed his clothes and left. He gave a thanks before taking the phone there. After several minutes of talking with his worried mother he manged to leave and eat breakfast. His mom sent over some money for a quick stop at a fast food place. Luckily for Chael's stomache the Pokemon had stuffed themselves with berries the way here. Post 138 A Shellos. The derpy little Pokemon slithered along the route, moving his head up and down. He let the snail pass, and continued the walk. Argos looked excited. Checking the Pokedex, he saw the gator was close to evolving. He had held it off before but maybe it'd be good. It'd certainly set him apart from the other new trainers. Post 140 A bright light enveloped Argos, almost like he was made of it. The bluish iridescent that was shaped like a Totodile began to morph. It grew larger, more muscle as it began to dim. Details were more easily seen and in no time the light was gone. Leaving behind a Croconaw. "Doo dee doo doo dee dee doo dee dooooooooo. You're Totodile has evolved into Croconaw!" The Pokedex in his backpack said. "I guess so. Argos? Ready to head out to the ruins?" Chael asked. Excited, the Croconaw shook his head vigorously. Alex was looking in the grass as Stripes had vanished and wasn't coming when he was called. After about half a minute of looking Alex found something. It wasn't stripes, but it was something. Alex stared at it and it was a yellow thing that looked over at him with its eyes still closed. Duskie came up and tried to tackle it but right before it connected the yellow thing vanished. "What was that?" Alex asked himself as he started looking at his pokedex trying to look for it.

Alex couldn't find the thing in his pokedex as all he had to go on was the shape of its face and that it was yellow. He didn't know how many legs it had or if it had arms or anything like that. He kept walking and looked over at the grass in time to see it again. He pointed the pokedex at it before it vanished and Lin's Water Gun got more then a foot away from her. "Abra?" He said to himself as the pokedex started talking about it. It was a psychic type so it might be able to help, but he already had six pokemon so he didn't think that he could catch one. He would have to ask someone next time he saw a person that could help.

Alex looked around for the Abra. It didn't vanish very far the first time, but he couldn't find it this time before a Pidove was scared and started flying around Alex's head. Alex flailed around trying to get it to go away. His pokemon stared at it for a few seconds, and looked like they were laughing when Alex opened his eyes and saw that it wasn't there anymore. It was on the ground a couple feet from him looking dazed and soaking wet.

Alex stared at the bird. It didn't look like it was moving. He looked over to Lin then back to the bird and back to Lin. "Did... Did you?" He paused to poke the bird with a stick. The bird twitched. "Oh good," he said with a sigh as he got up and walked away. Jenkins walked up with a Super Potion. "More goodies!" Alex said as he took the potion and pet Jenkins.

Alex looked at his pokemon. Lin looked strong enough for the gym but the others could probably get a little stronger. As he was thinking that a Skitty was inattentive enough to wander into Duskie's line of sight. Within seconds it was flying through the air after being tackled. When it landed it ran like its life depended on it, as with Duskie its health did at the least.

Alex sat down. He was walking around all day for the last day or so and his feet were getting tired. He sat down for a minute or so and watched his pokemon do what they wanted. Lin sat down next to him and watched the other too. Duskie and Lillipup were sniffing around the place. Stripes decided to take a nap and Blue was scaring Pidgeys by Quick Attacking to get in the middle of a group of them.

Blue really seemed to like scaring the birds. Whenever there was a chirp he was there and the birds were taking off. Even when there didn't seem to be a chirp Blue scared a group of birds. After a few times it seemed that they got a little smarter and only started grouping in threes or fours instead of double digits, but Blue still Quick Attacked into the middle of them to scare them into flying away.

As Alex watched Blue, he fell asleep. When he woke up he didn't know how long he was asleep but as all of his pokemon were sitting around him sleeping as well he guessed that it was at least an hour or so. The pokedex said that it was probably about that long as he didn't know what time he sat down. As he looked around he didn't see Lin though, and was about to get up and look for her when she came walking over with he head held high. She must have been protecting everyone while they were taking a nap. Alex pet Lin as everyone else started waking up.

Once everyone was awake Alex and his pokemon started looking for more pokemon to train his on. It was another Rattata. After a few Water Guns from Lin it was running away. Blue Quick Attacked in front of the Rattata and scared it enough that it fainted. Jenkins and Stripes both ran up with a potion. "There has to be a box of them burred around here somewhere for there to be that many of them," Alex said to himself as he put the potions away.
