"Thanks for the ice cream, professor--"
"I'm not your professor anymore, Cael."
"Oh, right. Well, thanks, mister--"
"Ugh, mister makes me sound so oooold," the brown-haired man whined, earning a playful cruck from the raven on his shoulder.
"Okay, okay, fine--thank you Cormac, are you happy?" Cael said, rolling his eyes as he twirled the popsicle stick between his fingers.
"You're welcome," the professor replied innocently, ignoring the younger man's frustration.
"Besides, you are old," Cael jabbed, smirking. "Practically ancient."
"I'm only twenty-eight, you b*****d," Cormac growled.
"Practically ancient," he repeated, grinning before looking below at the distant sound of laughter and chatter. He spotted a group of people collecting near the stairs, and... was that a bathtub? No, it was probably something else and he was just too far to see it clearly.
"So, will you be taking up a position at this Academy?"
"Eh... I'm thinking about it," he said with a shrug, boredly incinerating the popsicle stick between his fingers. "The headmaster and I don't quite see eye-to-eye, though. I don't know how Leront deals with him."
"Master Eraqus means well," Cael replied. "He's just... scarred."
"Hah! Puns! I knew I'd rubbed off on you, kid."
The raven crucked a few more times before pecking at Cormac's head, then pointing down with his beak.
"Sure, sure, go on, make friends."
With a final cruck, the raven jumped off Cormac's shoulder... and began to plummet, holding his wings to his body to speed up his descent and croaking loudly the whole way down.
"He has problems."
"I know! Isn't he great?"

"Snow?" Timon scoffed. "What, like that cold fluffy white stuff that falls from the sky? Pfft, what kinda Galiant is that, am I right, Zack?"

[Zikomo ~ Twilight Town ~ Train Station]
"Sorry, Ferv." Ziko fake-pouted, stepping next to him and pulling little leaves from his hair. She couldn't help but smile at her roommate's excitement over the teleportation, "At least someone appreciates my work!"
Her eyes trailed over to Ayden--she could smell him before she could see him. The teen's face scrunched up and her eyes widened at the stench, her hand quickly flying to pinch her nose.
"That's an awfully big toilet you got there." She quipped about the tub, her voice distorted from holding her nose. Morph momentarily turned green at her shoulder, but paused to search for the source of the squawking coming from above. Upon seeing the raven, he giggled and quickly changed to the small figure of a man, pale-skinned, ebony-haired, and wearing an antiquated sort of suit. Ziko looked to him and stared blankly.
"And you are . . . ?"

The male grumbled, arms crossed over his chest. Even though she picked out leaves, he was still feeling sour. It didn't help that he could hear CC snickering from atop the bush, having jumped to safety when Ferv started falling. The grumbling soon turned into a disgusted grunt, hand gong to nose and taking a few steps back from the tub that came towards them Ugh, that smell was horrid.
"Toilet is an understatement, I think. Who would carry something that...ugh. Strong."
And then he reached out for a weapon that wasn't there when something started cawing and dive bombing towards them. Well maybe not exactly, but it was coming down fast. And Zikomo seemed to be kind of relaxed to it, Morph even more so. So, maybe it couldn't be that bad...and when he realized that is when he remembered he could actually summon his weapon. Not that he seemed to need it.
He looked at the bird and ended up blurting out loud, "So...not sure, but I don't think I've seen crows around these parts...think it belongs to someone?"

[Nymira: Dark Academy: Halls]
Click, clack, click, clack.
The click of her heels always seemed to announce her coming. She came down the halls, clicking and clacking as she took notes on the state of things goin gon in her academy. Some feared her coming. Others...well if that wolf-whistle couldn't tell you, it would seem you weren't all that bright.
Nymira smiled. She was looking pretty good today, after all. Crimson heels, pencil skirt, jacket. Hair up in a tight ponytail, pencil and notepad in hand as she took notes, her crimson nails shining in the lights she passed by. She couldn't blame them for admiring her.
Of course, with a swift smack, she stopped walking as the male student that smacked her rump laughed. And then was running, letting out whimpers as the fireball to his face burned off his eyebrows and lashes.
"Let it be well known to those that think they can get away with that. You will not, and will be punished. And definitely not in the fun way some of you are thinking."
And with that, she kept up her 'inspection'. With, of course, a couple more students suddenly a little more afraid.
Click, clack, click, clack.

It seemed like everyone else was wondering what had caused the epic stink in the tub, but before they got an answer there was a loud croak from above, and Mizu looked up to see a raven dive-bombing the group.
"What does that bird think it's doing?" Chip asked, eliciting a shrug from Mizu. She shifted into a crouch, preparing to catch the bird if it didn't brake before it hit the ground. Assuming she could; she'd never tried to catch something falling from that far during a high-jump before, and the crazy raven seemed to be trying to hit terminal velocity.

The raven missile continued to cruck loudly as it soared toward the ground, the noises sounding almost like laughter--if laughter could be made from a raven's odd throat.
When it spotted the strange pink blob turn into a small man, its eyes gleamed playfully, it stopped it's croaking, and it began to specifically target the Galiant. At the last second, it opened its wings and, like a parachute, get abruptly caught by the friction in the air, slowing to tenderly attempt a landing on Zikomo's opposite shoulder.
Quickly tilting leaning and tilting its head to look across to Morph, he blinked and crucked once, holding its beak slightly open as if to emote something.

Kovu drank cautiously, eyeing the girl as she circled around him. Mali stood quietly, stifling a chuckle at Zack and Timon's antics, looking around nervously for any disapproval.
As Kovu lifted his head from the bowl, he couldn't help but agree with Timon, "Can weather really be a Galiant?" the lion tilted his head, watched the girl who floated in the air with ease, Not that I'd be surprised. This girl floats through the air like a flake of snow anyway.
The reclusive young man watched, looking back and forth between all the people as he sat down at the closest table and began slowly nibbling his food. These people were interesting, mildly frightening, but interesting. At least for now they didn't seem to have anything against him... now if only Kovu could stop trying to make enemies on day two, they could keep it that way.

 The grey haired youth made a less-than-impressed look and shook her head. Either theyw ere avoiding the obvious answer and just teasing the poor girl, or- god help them- they WERE that clueless. If so they were in trouble.
“I doubt that’s actually what her gallant is- it sounds more like a name to me.” She sighed and pulled away from the table. The sound of sweeping cloth and tinkling metal echoed through the empty atrium as she got to her feet. Adjusting her rapier at her belt she gave the rest of the lot a firm nod. “Sorry to leave so soon with more introductions but I should be going now- besides I’ve eaten my fill.”
She noted the other man decided sitting away from the rest and simply gave his a respectable nod before turning to leave. “ I bid you all a good morning. See you in class- perhaps.”
(( Cloe / Kingdom Academy/ Dining Hall))
Whether to not they were teasing Cloe didn’t seem to be deterred by any means and continued to float there peacefully before reaching to the table and taking another random cup of water. At least ti was a cup this time.
As she watched Shion leave she made a pouty face and rolled in midair till she was right above Kovu’s head still looking in the direction the knight began to leave through.
“ So Seriousssss…” she made a silly gruff voice and put her hand son her hips in mimicry.
Finally gravity seemed to remember Cloe’s existence and she landed on her feet again, and then toddled over towards the new person who sat away from them. Her head barely rose over the table top as the green tinted girl eyed him impishly from the other side.

"Later, Shion," Zack called to the girl as she left. "Oh, hey, if you really want to join me for extra training, I'll be outside at eight tonight! Meet me at the top of the cliff?"
Timon rolled his eyes at Zack, but for once didn't say anything. Instead, he warily eyed Kovu one more time and went for one of the rolls laying on the table.

Zack's reply came just in time before she existed the hall, and pausing by the door the girl turned back once more towards the table- blinking like she was thinking it over.
The cliff top?
Oh that one!?
Shion had actually been there a few times. It was a little bit of a walk past the obsticle and training coarse, but once you got there the mountain range was spread out before you. The clearing was empy save for a single bench by the edge for visitors to sit and enjoy the view.
Everything was all nice and open- a good place to spar since it was well lit at night- she couldn't find a reason to disagree with this choice.
Finally Shion nodded, " Very well then, 8 tonight on the cliff top."
With her hand on the side of the large open door she exited the main hall, her voice echoed back- " Don't be late." and then the knight proceeded on towards the gym for her next class.

Mali had half a mouth full of pancake when his eyes rose to spot the ghost-like girl with a frightful jump. Kovu moved around behind Mali and placed his front paws up on the table, digging in without any regard for others or table manners. The youth coughed as the syrup tickled the wrong pipe and he covered his mouth, trying his best to speak between gasps, "Y-yes? What's wrong?"

Ziko looked up at Mercutio as he chuckled, smiling as he came down and alighted on her shoulder. She for a brief moment wondered if he was at all like any of the talking animals from home, but as he crowed at Morph, she decided he must not have been.
"Why hello there!" She said to the raven so casually that it would seem as if this were an every-day occurrence for her.
Morph stifled a giggle and stepped over to get a better look at Mercutio, walking on the air in his small Poe form as if it were solid ground. The Galiant opened his arms wide and bellowed, "Nevermore!"

The raven waved a wing at Zikomo as she said hello, eerily human in its mimicry, and left its beak slightly open still, as if to smile. However, Morph's approach made it curious, tilting his head and blinking. When he spoke, though...
Mercutio immediately tilted back, standing on one talon, and held a wing aloft--his other wing came over his chest, as if to clutch it, before he crucked and dramatically fell off Zikomo's shoulder to the ground below. If he wasn't caught, and there was any concern for his well-being, the melodramatically pained 'caw' that he released before "going limp" might have reassured them he was acting out.

Ferven cocked his head to the side, frowning at the bird as it theatrically 'died'. What in the....
"Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's not here alone. Of course, it's not like he knew if this thing was a galiant, or a pet, or what. But something that 'smart' wasn't exactly 'normal' fauna, he figured.
