In a perfect world, one we've never known....
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the land, Not a creature was stirring, not even a the muskrats. The stockings were hung by the rocks with care, In hopes that St Nickoclaws soon would be there. The cubs were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of antelope pranced in their heads. And mamma in her fur, and pa in his mane, Had just settled their brains for a long winter’s nap.
"Hold it!" Timon said loudly, "Since when is this a story of Christmas?"
Pumba trotted in with a snack tray of juicy bugs, "I think it was going good, please continue with your story."
"Thank you," the mysterious voice boomed with loudness."As i was saying, The night before Christmas is something special to behold. It's a gift of giving from the young to old. The word is Christmas, is not something you receive, it's something more and never green. My story begins, with the young three. The children of Kiara and Kovu to be.
Kiara and Kovu, the Prince and Princess of Pride Rock, was hunting one day for meat for the pack. They were stalking up for the cold winters nights. This was one of the few snow scenes, since the weather shifted and reversed into something different. The animals knew something was wrong, but something, something was about to unfold.
"Simba," Nala looked over at her love, "The leaves are changing and the animals are moving. What do we do?" Her face was scared she didn't know what to do. She only hoped the king knew.
"We do our best and protect our land, the best we can." He glanced back at her with a faint smile and then looked out to the land and wished he could talk to his father about this new force of nature.
Meanwhile out in the outlands, something was stirring, a lion that was deserted. His fur was dark red with a lovely small mane. Bushy was not what it was at all, in fact is was just as small. He devoured anger all these years. But he was one, and not many. He wanted to speak to Simba, but was in fear that he would banish him once more.
His name was Kopa, and he was the son of Simba, the first born, and the one that Simba banished for playing with the once known as the outsiders. Many years when Kiara was born, Simba, forgot about Kopa and abandoned him. His dark secret he kept.
Why you ask, don't ask me, but he told Nala, he was kidnapped by the hyneas. Which was a lie.
Meanwhile many months passed and Kiara and Kovu stood in front of the animal committee. They had given birth to three young cubs. Two future kings and one future queen. Rafiki stood with his hands in the air, asking for silence from all the animal. He stood there quietly and spoke with care, "Today is a day, we celebrate, three young ones and not just one!" He reached for the oldest who was named Bakari. He lifted him up into the air and the animals cheered. He gleamed with a smile and sat the young cub down and grabbed his sister with care. He lifted Zuri up and then smiled with a beam of sunshine. He sat her back down and grabbed Sudi, the youngest and present him to the animals with ease.
The animals cheered and all danced and pranced. They had future kings and queens to keep the land safe. It was a wonderful feeling. Kopa watched from a tree nearby. How dare they. He was suppose to be next in line. He not her, and not them! HIM! The young lion glared from that tree of the Pride Lands. The outsiders joined the Simba and the rest of the lions. The outrage, the nerve, and the loneliness that burned in his heart. Simba banished him to this outside for playing with Vitani, Kouv, and Nuka, but now Simba let them join them as one. “Father, WHY!” Kopa screamed with a roar. His mane bounced in the air that circled him and floated off to pride rock. What would Simba do if the Prince of Pride Rock returned? Kopa’s eyes narrowed, he was going to join his father and the rest of the lions, soon very soon.
Simba roared, "Who said that?" His ceremony was almost ruined. What kind of animal would do that! The animals all turned into the direction of the roar that silenced first.
Kopa glanced at the animals and he held up his head high and walked out of hiding. He walked up to the rock and glared at his father, high and mighty as can be and walked to the edge of the rocks.
Simba looked into his eyes and jumped down below. His red eyes narrowed his son's. "Kopa, why have you returned?"
"Cause i shall be the king of pride rock, not those mangy fur-balls and certainly not that lady up there!"
"Hold it!! Timon yelled, "I thought this was a story on Christmas, not about kids or yadda ya da! Get with the Christmas story!"
"Timon, stop inturrepting. We are trying to understand what happened, and whose Kopa, I mean it was just getting good! Pumba replied.
"Yeah but Pumba, its a story on absolute nothing that deals with Christmas, What is it about?!" Timon stood up waving his arms around like a baboon.
"That is it i cant work with these amateurs! If you want to know the rest of the story look me up!" The narrator poofs.
"Hakuna Matata!?" Timon speaks and looks at Pumba. "Guess its just you and me pal."
" Oh no, you made, her leave, I wanted to hear the rest of the story!' Pumba leaves leaving Timon in his chair alone. His mouth dropped of shock.
Oh my that took forever to type...>.< Anyways congrats massa, it was fun having a bidding war with you smile <3

In a perfect world, one we've never known....
Peace has reigned in the lands around Pride Rock for so many years now that the animals have become unaccustomed to anything but. However a disaster will soon strike our favorite pride of lions. With Simba and Nala gone, and Kovu and Kaira growing old in age will our two young heroines be able to save the day? All our hopes lay with Zafina and Kiania, the two young female cubs of Kovu and Kaira.
The land begins to grow infertile, trees and plants do not grow and rain doesn’t fall. How are they going to solve this problem? With a virus hitting the land causing Kovu and Kaira to grow ill how will they save them? Is there any hope left for our young ones?
Yes, the chance at saving everything lies miles away, far past the reaches of their lands to a tribe who knows how to make the rain fall and that holds a special plant, capable of fixing everything.... but how will they find the other pride and speak to them, let alone convince them to come with them? Will they be able to fight off the guardians and keep their pride from full out war and possible destruction?
Can they do it?! Find out! In Lion King 3! Saving the Pridelands!
I know it's not like an actual story and I know it's sorta odd. But I kinda wanted to stick with the whole movie theme. As we are clearly doing the movies and not the books. XD otherwise there would be a whole lot more and it wouldn't be a mini event. So I sorta made it like a preview to a movie. Cause I don't know. XD Thats me being a dork.

anasazi_lemur_babe In a perfect world, one we've never known....“Gather around cubs, I have a story to tell. It is of a time before this pride came to be, a time when we lived separate from one another, and even fought tooth and nail against our brethren. Our story starts many years ago, far away from here, with the members of a pride that made their home at a place they called ‘Pride Rock’. They were led by a wise and powerful lion named Simba. He led them through happiness and hardship, however our story is not about him. Our story concerns his daughter, her mate, and their twin cubs. Simba started to grow old, as many lions often do. As he became unable to properly protect his pride, he passed the task down to his daughter, Kiara, and her mate, Kovu. Both young lions took on the responsibility eagerly, and it wasn’t long before Kiara bore twin cubs. The male cub they named Haki and the female they called Akin; both cubs were healthy and the pride was ecstatic with the addition of both a prince and princess.
"All went well until the twins’ first hunt. As was custom all young lions had to bring down their first kill by themselves, with the rest of the pride staying behind to make sure they were not disturbed. Haki and Akina thought that it would be easy, that they would return home that night victorious in their hunt. Nightfall soon fell and only Haki returned, he had caught nothing and instead told his parents of the terrible stampede that had caused him to get separated from Akina. He’d searched high and low for his sister before returning home with the news. The pride was struck with grief, and even though they searched and searched, they had no luck finding their lost princess. After all hope had been lost, Kovu called off the search for his daughter and returned to leading the pride. Kiara and Haki mourned deeply for their loss but continued on with their lives.
"Unknown to them was that Akina was alive! She had gotten separated when the stampede tore through and had wandered aimlessly for days before she had been found by a couple of strange lionesses. They were from a pride far to the north of Pride Rock and were unsure what to make of Akina. They decided to take her back to their leader, an elderly lion who had no heirs. He saw Akina as a gift from his ancestors and named her his heir and adoptive daughter. It was here in this pride that Akina started her life all over, learning to hunt with the lionesses and taking up her elderly guardian’s duties. Only a year after she had first showed up on their lands the king died, leaving Akina to rule solely in his place. She took his place easily; after all she had the approval of his pride so she had little to worry about.
"Months passed and eventually years did as well, the seasons passing as they usually did with nothing changing. Life followed its natural course, until one night Kiara received a dream from the leaders before her. They told her that her daughter was still alive and warned her that if the two prides were not united, death would befall them all. She woke from this dream shaken and immediately pulled Kovu and Haki aside to tell them about the dream. The two male lions were skeptical; how could another pride live so far from them, and how had Akina managed to get there? With pleading from Kiara, Kovu and his son finally agreed to go off in search of this second pride, and ultimately Akina. Their travels took them further than anyone from Pride Rock had ever gone, taking them straight into the other pride’s territory.
"Having traveled so long and not finding a single lion for miles, the two decided to bed down for the night and start the trek home in the morning. However, when they woke the next morning, the two found themselves surrounded by other lions; a particularly rugged looking lioness seemed to be their leader. The group that had surrounded them asked why they had come to their lands; outsiders were rare and most unwelcome here. Kovu, used to taking the lead, spoke of their home and why they had made the journey here. He explained that they were looking for his daughter, who had gone missing so long ago. To his surprise he noticed that the lead lioness seemed confused, looking from him to Haki and back as if trying to make sense of his words. The other members of her group seemed to be as confused as she was, looking to her for guidance. It wasn’t until Kovu revealed his daughters name that it all seemed to snap in to place.
"Akina didn’t want to accept that she was the missing princess. She had made a life with this pride and she didn’t want to leave. Even the coaxing of her newly reunited father and brother couldn’t convince her to return home. As a final effort Kovu told her of the ominous warning from their ancestors, to his dismay Akina still refused to return with them or to even bring her pride back to the Pride Lands. She told them that they were to return to their home without her and never return to her lands again. Haki, desperate to have his sister back, thought long and hard the night before they were to leave. Once the sun had risen again, he had come up with a solution that would benefit both prides. He and Akina would create a truce, one that would make it so that the lions who wanted to leave the separate prides and join together could to do so. His sister was hesitant to accept this idea, but after encouragement from her pride she agreed to the terms.
"By coming to that agreement, Haki and Akina had saved the prides, though they didn’t realize it. Several lions and lionesses left their former prides and started the new one, the pride we live in today. That my dears, is all for story time tonight. Give an old lioness a break and find your mothers, sleep well little ones and I will see you again tomorrow for another story.”
((This is a collab between myself and Ishy, just thought I'd add that in there)) Winner (s) of the Kovu/Kiara story contest C: Since Ish & Lemur collaborated, and I really liked the story, they each get on of the lions. Decide which you guys want, and I will send Kovu to whomever picks him - when he is finished.
I really liked all of your guy's stories! Keep up the good work, and good luck for next time! C:
