Rosie looked up at Joker after he whispered to her and gave him a smile. She cuddled closer to him and turned her attention back to her original.
The little witch looked over at the others, then beamed at the Joker. "I know lots of little tricks!"

"Can you show us them?" Joker asked. He was acting so excited for two reasons: because every Rosie HE had was one less for Gossamer, and because he was just plain excited.

C.J. smiled at the impromptu magic show. "Man, dis is so cool, I forgot what I was gonna say." he said. No . . . I just ain't ready to ask you out yet. he thought. Confidence and self-esteem were two very different things.

The little witch beamed. "I sure can!" she replied.
"Just the ones you know how to do, please." Vice warned. Rosie paused a moment and looked over at him. "Remember what happened to the cat when you tried spelling without practice?"
C.C. tensed up on the girls lap and looked worriedly at the little witch. "What happened to a cat?"
Rosie blushed a little and rubbed the back of her head with her free hand. Her concentration on the table broke completely and the entire thing fell. Sending the punch bowel of milk spilling across the floor, and fish and crackers scattering everywhere.
Rosie jumped at the noise, looked at the table, and blushed harder. "I...eheh....kind of turned it inside out....like in that Galaxy Quest movie. I was trying to turn it into a bird though!"

That snapped C.J. out of his slack-jaw stupor.
"Well, that had to be messy." he said, switching back to his usual self as he and Arell helped clean up the mess.
"Huh, thought you'da had a one-linah fo' dat." Arell replied.
"Nah . . . parents had cats, I'd feel too bad . . . wouldn't mind if she did that to Clyde though. He's been getting on my nerves." C.J. said, thinking back to his macaw . . . who wouldn't shut up when He, Arell and Dundee were hanging out.

Joker simply laughed at the thought of turning a cat inside out. "Well, that's ONE way to skin them. No offense to the current company, of course," he added, gesturing to C.C. and the kittified Carlie.

C.C. frowned and glanced over at Joker. "None taken."
"Sorry about that." Rosie said sheepishly as the two men cleaned up the mess she made.

C.J. smiled. "No worries, kid. Y'all should see where WE live right now . . ." he said with a smirk.
"Yeah, by de way, you remember t' unplug dat cola machine while we was gone?" Arell asked.
"I thought you did! Great, soon we'll have a wired-up Dundee and Clyde!" C.J. moaned, but snapped out of it. "No worries."

Joker got up and went to the witch Rosie, saying, "Want to see a cool NON-magic trick?" As he asked, he motioned to his own Rosie to follow him.

"If he gets near us wit' a pencil, I'm outta here." Arell growled. He wasn't sure that was the trick ahead.
"The kid's too young. He wouldn't do that . . . right?" C.J. asked quietly.
"You weren't dere last week." Arell said, shaking his head.

Rosie turned her attention towards Joker as he approached her. Her smile returned and she looked up at him curiously. "Sure, I love learning new tricks." she replied.
His Rosie had slipped off the couch and sat C.C. down. Then followed after Joker and stopped behind him.

"Well, THIS one'll take some practice. THIS Rosie, however, HAS been practicing." Joker turned his head to look at his Rosie. "You got that snubnose on you?" He pulled out a deck of cards.

Rosie looked up at him and smiled widely. "Of course!" she replied, reaching into the inside of her jacket. She pulled her hand back out and held a clean and shiny little snubnose revolver.

"The perfect wat to round out a Joker costume, isn't it?" Joker opened up the box, and pulled out a card, a three of clubs. Holding it in a throwing grip, he asked his Rosie, "Ready?"
