The frost demon had hung back in the room, watching the others leave first out of guilt. Vieve had left without saying a thing, and now she was alone to deal with this herself before moving on. Lattice's pumpkin pill was still in her hand, she wasn't sure she deserved it after all that had happened.
Guilt was hard to swallow, and right now the pill in her hand was the embodiment of that.
But she would just have to deal with it – now wasn't the time to die. Edel popped the orange capsule into her mouth and swallowed it whole, waiting for the effects to set in. A surge of FEAR spread through her body and now.......she was all better, as if she hadn't suffered any injury at all. The ghoul pushed herself off the wall and walked gingerly towards the door she chose, entering it and disappearing into a path unknown.
