SorceressJacklyn Rpc Name: Fendon Rpc Profile Link: made in prep of profile- Werebeast Wolf Warrior Your Customs Thread: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=21931271Rpc Rank: Trainee Combative Talent or Non Combative: Non-combat Talent Name: If You Don't Know the Sun... Description: Because of how Fendon spent most of his life, the sun doesn't stop his transformation now. He can transform at any time of day willingly but it infers a few drawbacks. Human Form: 4/4 in Day, 5/5 in Night Full Transformation: no speed boost during day Skills: none Rp Sample: (Let me know if needed for something like this) Combative Talent or Non Combative: Combat Talent Name: By My Father's Blood Description: Being more like his father than his mother, Fendon inherited the one thing his father was most known for: his lightning. Lightning replaces Fendon's element and makes elemental attacks against him one rank greater. He can only have custom lightning skills, even if lightning skills are eventually made for the guild. By paying for a skill as one rank higher, he can add lightning to the attack as well. Skills: Calling the Thunder (E): A distraction-based skill, Fendon causes a small lightning strike somewhere behind his target to freak them out. This cannot be used as an actual bodily attack. Shocking Glance (D): Normally a touch delivered attack, this can also be done through a blocked blow. It sends a lightning shock through the opponent to tingle out a limb, making that limb hard to use for 3 posts. Can't be used to decrease speed or strength. Striking Point (C): By delivering a powerful lightning strike on his target, he sets them up to be a lightning rod for greater accuracy on other attacks. Dynamic Storm (S): Raises a storm of pure lightning over the area. Will strike randomly for five posts. Opponents must roll a D8 to see if they're struck. 1,2,4,7: struck 3,5,6,8 safe. If Striking Point was used one post before or during the skill's duration, the person cannot avoid being struck. 10 post cooldown. Rp Sample: Still writing Fenrir's love child huh? Interesting... Since we have been discussing Lightning being an Advanced Element only, I would like you to add post cooldowns to each of the skills in My Father's Blood. I'll leave the cooldowns to your discretion for now, and advise further if I see it necessary. As for the added elemental weakness, this is to all elements including lightning? You will have to declare when Fendon decides to electrify his attack within the post of the attack, and it cannot be used as a "Delayed Charge" skill. He must commit to it before it's determined if the strike hits or not. I figure that is a given, but I want to state it just in case. Also, given that the Talent is based on his actual genetics and powers from such an extraordinary Lightning wielding creature, I want to see some weakness to water - more than the additional rank of elemental damage. This will tie into your feelings on whether or not he takes additional damage from lightning as well. If he does not, being in water should hamper him, or being wet. Not to the point that he electrocutes himself and dies, but something similar to the Shocking Glance skill, except that it affects him.

Dynamic Storm should have the ability to harm Fendon, if Lightning as an element has the ability to harm him, at the normal level (not the additional rank) of damage, or at one rank below his rank. The other three skills have no potential to harm him since their emanations or physical abilities. That aside, everything else looks good.

Er. Just one question, Fenrir's lightning came from a style that he learned, not from genetics or anything of the sort. So how could that ability be passed down?

Mayvine Er. Just one question, Fenrir's lightning came from a style that he learned, not from genetics or anything of the sort. So how could that ability be passed down? Because that style he learned messes with a person's make up to give them lightning as an element and destroy the elemental coding already in their genes. Changes made.

Jackie, your revised talent is clear and approved! satans-plaything This isnt the original way I intended to make this, however i think this is a better way to go about it. Other skills will be submitted as customs with the title "Ancestral Undead" Quote: Rpc Rank: Trainee
Combative Talent or Non Combative: Takes up both talent slots.
Talent Name: Ancestral Undead
Description: In the distant past, One of Rivkah’s ancestors Copulated with a Lich. This breeding with the un-dead had been diluted throughout the many generations since, however this fact gives her a strong connection with both the dead and un-dead. Being part Lich also gives her an immunity to passive dark magics. As well as this small immunity, Rivkah has a standalone class, born from her Lichen blood, Rivkah felt the calling to the dead, however it goes much deeper than being a necromancer. This talent gives Rivkah immunity to all Passive dark magics and means she is slightly less effected by non passive dark magic (One rank less in damage from it), and a weakness to good magic (One Rank higher in damage). (Highborn, Priests, Reapers, etc) It makes her only able to learn one ranged style, and she can also only use one melee weapon. A one handed weapon, or a two handed weapon such as a staff. She cannot have a class. Her class becomes "The Infernal Magician". Her lineage gives her a +2 speed at the cost of -2 strength. There will be many custom skills to go with this talented class. Each skill must be mentioned as part of this talent when created.
Passive Skills: Sight of the un-holy; This skill allows Rivkah to see the dead and the un-dead as if they were living beings with an energy pool.
Skills Learned:
At Trainee rank the infernal magician begins to awaken. Automatically learning Ancestral Wind.
Ancestral Wind D The Ancestral wind summons minor souls, it restricts movement slightly, lessening the speed of a single opponent by one for 6 posts. 3 post cool down The Infernal Magician is a class even if it's, so I would remove the "She cannot have a class" line from the talent. The passive dark magics immunity is exceptionally strong. I would recommend that you limit the ranks of the passive magic that she is immune to to Rank ! and below, until she reaches the rank of master. When she's Master, her immunity will start one rank higher than her rank (So at Master she'd have SS immunity, Sage SSS) How does the energy pool for these undead work, exactly? Does it simply allow you to see the energy pools, or are you developing this skill for additional skills you're building in the future? Everything else is solid!

Ancestral Wind D The Ancestral wind summons minor souls, it restricts movement slightly, lessening the speed of a single opponent by one for 6 posts. 3 post cool down edited the first two things according to your suggestion. the third one is solely a reference to the fact she is a seer. They dont HAVE an energy pool, she just sees them as if they do, though they would be a slightly different color to the living. So, everything that has no energy is black, living things are white energy signatures(trees, animals etc),people are seen as the colour of their energy, and the undead would be dull and grey. Ah! Understood - interesting spin on the Bloodline. Your talent is approved! I look forward to seeing Rivkah on the field.
