Tim opened the door wider when he saw who it was and what had happened. She looked frightened, and he couldn't blame her- this brought a concerned expression to his face.
"Come in- are you ok?... is your home on the other side of town?"
His first thought was she was maybe too far from home for comfort to be walking back from such an experience.

"Ahh..." Abby said while walking into the Manor, "M-my home isn't... it's not in this universe," she said."I-I'm from Ireland, just... not the Ireland from this universe, or... or at least that's what Danu said before she transported me here. I-I'm sorry, it's just-- when I arrived here--"
"Tim?" called d**k, walking into the room. The moment he saw Abby, he blinked.
"Holy crap, are you okay?" he asked, and Abby shook her head.
"N-not-- not really," she said. "I got thrown into this universe by the Celtic mother-goddess to find me brother, Aiden, and the first people I met were thugs! One of them, the leader... H-he had a... a messed-up face. One side was fine, but the other looked... burned and scarred. And he kept flippin' a coin..."
d**k's eyes widened. This girl had survived an encounter with Two-Face?!

Tim's eyes also widened as he glanced to d**k- he was thinking the same thing. Looking back, the younger bird lost the expression as much as he could and tried for a reassuring smile.
"Yeah, when in Gotham it's best to avoid that crowd."

Abby folded her arms. "Yeah? Well it's kinda hard to avoid that crowd when you appear out of a flash of light in their warehouse and have no idea what to expect," she replied. Then she sighed
"I'm sorry, I'm just--"
"Trust me, Miss, you're not the only one who's been punted into this universe. It's been happening for months now and it's still going on in some places." d**k said with a smile.

"d**k, this is Abigail. Abigail, d**k."
Tim motioned back and forth before gesturing to the kitchen.
"We have more friends in the kitchen--- are you hungry for breakfast?"

((200th post! WOOT!))
"Call me Abby, that's what my parents called me," Abby said to both d**k and Tim. "And no, I'm not really all that hungry."
"What I want to know is, how did you escape Two-Face and his goons?" d**k asked Abby, and the Irish girl launched into an explanation of what had happened.
"... So, I suppose I got away from them because o' my powers. Danu, the Celtic mother-goddess, told me that I have this... field around me that gives good luck to everyone inside it, except 'evil' people," Abby finished, and d**k grinned widely.
"Oh, this is great... Good luck powers? I'd love to introduce you to Jinx here. Her powers involve bad luck!" he said, obviously amused.

Tim led the way to the kitchen and headed straight for the skillet. Good luck, huh? As d**k spoke about Jinx's 'bad luck', Tim wondered if there would be any extra consequential 'effects' concerning this 'good and bad luck'.
"Everyone, this is Abby. She had some trouble on the streets, and she's here to avoid more of it. We all know how 'welcoming' Gotham is."
Tim split the scrambled eggs on to two plates and slid one over to Damian, as well as handing the other to d**k. He then smiled as he glanced around the room. The chance to get some sleep had energized him for the morning, and a bit more optimism was peeking into his attitude. Today was the day to organize and regroup, maybe find how many people they had who could help. This of course had to start with a nice thorough patrol of Gotham, which didn't sound all too fun in itself, but it was the idea of finding more that gave Tim enthusiasm

Jinx smiled like a cheshire cat with pink cateyes, but the goth sorceress still looked like Barbara Gordon wearing purple silk PJs and a black silk robe, "Nice to meet you, and I hope that your powers don't react to mine like matter and anti-matter."

"And if it weren't for that creep Blake I would be able to leave... all this activity is giving me a headache, and eggs-"
Kai mumbled to herself pausing and then finishing her second Waffle.

ENTER from Batcave
Alex carefully stepped out of the entrance and looked around with wide eyes. Oh....this place was....nice. Really nice. This was a mansion or something, wasn't it? Bet it was. With all the fancy tech downstairs, person that owned everything had to be loaded. Well....she should be fine. As long as she didn't run into Blackstone while she was up here, she shouldn't be snotty to any millionaires. Well...maybe. She'd try to behave anyway.
She glanced back and forth down the hallway, then carefully moved away and closed the "door". Her attention on the smell of food far too much to actually realize what the entrance looked like. She bit her bottom lip and started down the hall, following the scent.
Oh, yes. It was food. She hadn't eaten in hours, she didn't care what it was. She just needed something. Even if that something was....*sniff*....eggs. And waffles?
.....breakfast?!
It was just a late night snack, right? They hadn't been waiting downstairs THAT long...had they? Right?
...although...sometimes it was visually night in one city, and day in another at the same time. The timezones in this world were pretty messed up.
.....
Alex groaned out loud and shook her head. Frowning as she continued down the hall to try and find the source of the food. The closer she got to the kitchen, the more she notice the other smells.
There were quite a few people in the kitchen.
Alex's expression picked up immediately and she move a little more eagerly for the room. Maybe Batman was here. This was his place, right?

Jinx's stomach growled at her. Glancing down a moment and then popping her head back up, the sorceress announced, "Hey, crazy idea! Let's eat before our breakfast gets cold, and we can hear explanations while we all eat. Does that sound like a winner?"

While waiting for the waffles and eggs Wally had raided the pantry and was snacking on a bad of salt and vinegar chips. He winced and kept eating. These things were delicious but damn it took some getting use to. "I'm with Jinx on this one. Besides any situation is better over food." He crunched on the ships.

"I have nothing to explain really and I... need some chill time. I will just go with the fact that I trust this new girl."
She sighed and turned from the left over waffles.
"I'm full already, since Vegan food doesn't take as long to cook."
Kai took the wine with her leaving to sit at the kitchen table. She took a few drinks and sat seemingly uninterrupted. What she really wanted to do was take in some /fresh/ gotham air and beat the crap out of any criminals that dared take advantage of this chaos. As much as she would disdain the idea of beating people out of emotion normally there was not much she could do now in this world but that. She sat to listen to the others as they would discuss what was going on and take in anything that would be important.

Tim concluded his cooking with a plate a couple over-easy eggs, and a second plate full of scrambled eggs- one for him and the other by Wally's request. He set the big plate on the counter for the speedster.
"Wally-"
He pointed at it and took his own plate. Robin already started eating from where he stood to ease the growling of his stomach.

Alex finally arrived in the kitchen, and carefully walked in. Trying to make sure it didn't look as though she had rushed down the hall to get here. Though her stomach was immensely interested in the smell of food that permeated the room, Alex's attention was swept over every body she could see in the room.
The first person she seen was one of the girls from earlier, sitting at the table drinking a glass of wine. Alex regarded her briefly, a question about her choice of beverage if it really was morning passed through her mind, and then she immediately looked onto the next person.
A girl, looked a little breathless, bright red hair....didn't recognize her scent or face at all. Well...didn't matter....she was more interested in a guy anyway. Moving on...
Another girl...this one she didn't quite recognize. Long red hair and bright pink eyes that seemed to clash gaudily with the color of her hair. She smelled familiar though, so she assumed it was the girl in the bat costume from earlier as well. Either way, didn't matter. She wasn't the person Alex was interested in seeing.
Her eyes next fell on the speedster. His hair and eye color were instant indications that he wasn't the right person either. Moving on.
There was boy in the room. Black hair, blue eyes....far too young though. Even if Batman did somehow manage to de-age again, the face was too chubby, and the hair was far too short. Next.
There was another dark haired, blue eyed boy...older, but still too young. His facial features were off as well. Someone new. Moving on again.
This time she looked over to the older of the blue-eyed, dark haired boys in the room. At first glance he could be the right age...but he was a tad too...muscular. Her Bat was a little leaner in build. Plus his hair wasn't styled the right way. And his scent was different.
Alex frowned some realizing that the person she'd hoped to find wasn't among the large group in the kitchen. The frown was brief though, as she gave the group a bit of an awkward grin and stepped into the kitchen more.
"Um...hi. I really hate to interrupt or anything, but...I could smell the food from downstairs. It's been hours since my friend and I ate last. Would you mind if...I made something and took it downstairs or something? Again, I don't mean to intrude up here."
