B-3's reaction had basically confirmed that this guy was the same as the one who had fallen, and it took all of E-4's willpower not to croak "zombie" and quickly scoot away from him. After all, people just didn't come back to life like that! And she had been so sure that he had died. In fact, she could see the sickening image of the body sprawled on the ground, with all the wounds and the--

The image made her stomach twist, and she forced back any bile that rose in her throat. "Getting out of this area is also an option, I guess, but..." She didn't feel right running off while another teammate remained behind, and she doubted that E-1 would follow considering that she was standing for the pendant. If she didn't want to leave anyone behind, the most E-4 could do right now was just sit and wait.

With E-5's return, E-4 let out a shaky sigh and smiled, even if he couldn't see it. "Welcome back. Looks like you patched yourself up a bit," she murmured, "And...I don't know, Five. I don't know." This was only the first day. What did the next six have in store for them? If they survived, that was.

"Yeah!" E-13 said, as Bix else pointed out what he'd thought all along. "I thought I'd- uh, I mean that someone else had...what do you mean, dissolved?"

Five sat down nearby, and E-13 jumped again. "F-five too, didn't you-" hadn't Five gone down in a crowded fury of blue too? He looked fine now. Thirteen couldn't keep track anymore. Was anyone actually dead? ...Speaking of keeping track.

He took the opportunity to check his phone. It had seemed out of place to do it with everyone dying everywhere, but with weapons down and both teams in a pow wow, now seemed like a good time. ...He had a new text. Yadda yadda, summoned to the Cove, something or another...hey, and it listed Team Names.

For a moment E-Five went to give E-Four a bit of a goofy grin however he realized that there was a good chance she couldn't see it so instead he gave her the only thing he could think of, a pair of thumbs up.

"Yea it's a shoddy job but better than bleeding all over the place eh," he replied before looking at E-Thirteen. "And no I didn't die like this guy here I just left for a moment and stick a couple of bandages on before I let the crazy blue kill me of."

Leaning back he stretched his legs out a bit as he looked at the rather threatening pony he was sure that him just lounging there was not what it had in mind when he wanted them to be on the ground before him.

"So E-Four think you can fill me in what happened after that beast decided to knock us all down to the ground?"

Before had stayed flat on the ground, if this wasn't a sign he didn't want the pendant, he had no ******** clue what it would take. Off-handedly he heard others leave, then return, then someone from the pinks volunteered to take the pendant (haha! Chump), and WHAT WAS THIS ABOUT AFTER BEING ALIVE?! His head shot up, and if he hadn't been wearing that stupid gas mask, everyone would have seen his jack go slack as he stared at B-5, whom he'd named After. (Since he was Before and B5 was after?)

Beta 4 ended up clinging to Bix (remembering trying to cling to Boss was a bad idea), "AFTER! OH MY GOD AFTER!!!! YOU WERE DEAD! And now you're not! OH MY GOD HOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!?!?!" he demanded.

At ET's (yes, E-13, that is how Before will refer to you. FOREVER) mention of greek letters and he remembered Bix had taken his phone out briefly and decided to check his as well "Got that too. No ******** clue what it means. But, uh, you think Death-on-Hooves will go away now that we got ourselves a proud-stander?" he jerked his thumb towards the monster horse then towards the general direction where E-1 was. "Dunno about teaming up, but I go where Boss and Bix-" he gave a quick scan at his present teammates, "-and Cheese and Teeth and After go."

E8 didn't know what the hell was going on anymore, nor did he feel he cared enough to really care at this point. It was nothing but confusion and mayhem, all of it, and while he loved it to death, or rather loved the rush he got from all the action, he hated all the confusion and trying to keep up with what the plan of the minute was supposed to be. It just made his head spin, just like it was right now.

One minute he was trying to help his team mates take down their chosen target, and the next thing he knew he could an ear full of horse screams and was thrown on to his butt. Kneel? Kneel. So that is all the for legged monster wanted? For them the kneel? How could they have missed that one?

It didn't matter though. E8 didn't bother getting up, instead he just sat there and listed to the mix of chatter floating around, not even bothering trying to pick up the key words. By some means he did pick up the gist of it all, and the thought of teaming up with their rivals just made his stomach fall. But if that is what it took to stay alive then so be it. He would deal it it, for now anyway. As they said, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

"This is just so ******** up..."

Deciding to get back on his feet, or kneel at least, E8 found himself being buried under a wave of dirt and on his back.

"....Yeah, I'm not even going to bother..."

Beta Five patted B-3's shoulder somewhat awkwardly. "Don't lose faith just yet," he told her, hoping he was at least a little bit reassuringly. "Maybe the others will come back sometime too." Or maybe not.

His glance slide sideways to E-13. "Magical powers?" he repeated, tilting his head in slight confusion. "Hm. That does put a damper on things, doesn't it? Hmm..."

Beta Five absently tapped a finger on the mace he held in his hand, swinging it around without really attempting to do anything in particular with it (really he just needed to do something with his hands). "Okay, so basic gist - the situation sucks.

There was a wailing noise and a scuffle and Beta Five's attention was drawn away from E-13 to see B-6 and B-4 a few feet away. He lifted his hand to them in greeting, grinning, though he knew they couldn't see it (Man, this mask thing really was really rather irritating), before he glanced towards E-1 again.

"Well, now here's a conundrum," he said, exhaling a mildly exasperated sigh. "I really would like that pendant, you see. For various reasons, but I really don't want to fight for it, especially if we're at some sort of truce here. That would just screw things over."

Beta Five debated internally for a while, then decided to go over and talk to her. So, taking a few cautious steps towards E-1 (he did not really want that horse thing to attack either of them).

"Hey," he said, and lifted his hand in greeting to her, similar to his greeting to the others earlier. It was a way of saying hello, but he also wanted E-1 to see that he was not showing aggression. "So, ah...I missed the whole shenanigans from earlier. Might I ask why you want the pendant?" The question was calm, not meant to be antagonizing; Beta Five was mostly curious, still trying to piece together what he had missed.

Three grimaced slightly at 'cheese'...though she supposed it made sense B3..Bree..cheese, but otherwise remained silent- for one E5 seemed to have returned along with a few others and she was almost expecting this tenuous truce to fall apart and violence to break out again. She didn't really want that to happen and she didn't want the pendant so other then fleeing into the corn - which didn't seem like the smart thing to do - sitting still and staying quiet looked like a wise choice.

"Thanks After" She told Five, adopting fours name for him, as he patted her on the shoulder and then walked off to talk to Pink 1 about the pendant, her own gaze swept the surrounding corn - as hough hoping Bait would show up as well.

"Ha, a coward who had fled from battle, turning her backs on her team, has no right to return," She muttered lowly, narrowing her eyes at E-5 before flopping down beside Beta Four, the dagger in her hand never leaving her; just because they've stopped attacking each other doesn't mean that she shouldn't be on guard.

Hey, sitting on the floor counts as kneeling, right?

"Take it for all I care," She rolled her eyes at the pink one who had tried to claim the pendent (E-1), waving a dismissive hand in the air, "You know your teammates will just turn on you to grab it when you're not looking." The last part was said softly, like she didn't know whether she believed it or not anymore... Survival over morals? Or morals over survival? What was she even fighting for anymore?

"The recent text?" Looking up at E-13, and then at the miracluously alive B-5, she shrugged, "Look, our memory's been wiped for some reason, we're trapped on an island and have 7 days to survival, we've been attacked by a giant flaming horse-thing who can shoot flames, talk and crush us with its mind... Respawning humans doesn't surprise me that much anymore. I also happen to be rather worn out and do not wish to find out how he returned from the dead and is not a zombie after our brains..."

She sighed, holding up her own phone as she addressed everyone in general, "Yes, everyone got the same message, I presume... The other teams - if we presume that there are 2 teams in each of the 5 locations and at least 12 in each team, that's 120 of us. If everyone returned from the dead at the same time as B-5, that means our numbers shouldn't have changed much. Then again, if people have to report to the cove, maybe there are no teams there... Leaving us with about 96 people."

Depressing, and more depressing.

"Look, just because we're at truce now, doesn't mean we won't have to fight again later," She muttered, staring at the blade of her dagger with a frown that was barely visible under her gas mask, "Don't get too attached to each other... Makes it easier for everyone. Seriously." She felt like she was beginning to lose her balls. This disturbed her and she wanted very much to leave... But not alone.

"You didn't miss much," she told E-5, flopping onto her back and nearly smacking E-8 in the process. "From the look of the text we got, there are other teams in the place, meaning that we're severely outnumbered if we try to plow through this alone. So...Thirteen suggested a truce of sorts. Strength in numbers, and all that jazz."

Upon hearing the comment that one of the blue members (was she the one they called Boss?) directed at E-5, E-4 couldn't help but bristle a little defensively. "He did what he had to. How is it any different from what your medic did? We attacked your medic, you attacked Five, and they both left to deal with themselves. I mean--nngh, damnit." She bit her lip then to prevent herself from saying anything else. It was clear that they needed to form a truce--however temporary--to survive against the other teams, but it wouldn't be easy if she snapped at everyone around her. After a moment, E-4 muttered an apology, though she still sounded rather displeased.

"96 people," she repeated--or rather, croaked. That was far, far more than she had originally expected, and E-4 emitted a groan as she burrowed her face--er, mask--in her hands. "What kind of game is this? Why would so many people sign up to...to kill each other and be killed?"

Remaining where she had been thrown by the horse's powers, ε IX lay panting. The ordeal had been more than enough to override the bloodlust that had been clouding her vision during the fighting. Her target was off somewhere else by now, and ε IX was content to let it remain that way as her mind reeled from the unbearable pain in her body. It would seem that this horse-thing was not to be disobeyed and that its orders were literal. She wasn't about to stand up again so long as the monster was within sight or until it reversed its command.

As the pressure receded, the ache in her bones and the burning in her lungs had lessoned, but every bit of her was still tinged with pain. From her prone position, she listened to the fighting still and the conversation begin around her. Maybe they thought she numbered among the dead. In any case, it was to her liking to remain relatively unnoticed until she was prepared to make her move.

With an involuntary groan, she rolled over and cast about in search of her dagger on hands and knees, found and sheathed the thing and remained kneeling, watching the others through the grimy gas mask. If they were as bone-tired as she was, the fighting ought to remain at a standstill for a little longer at the very least. She continued to listen, feeling a bit detached from the whole scene. She had added her blade where it was needed, allying herself with the pink team, but perhaps they might do better as a pack from this point forward if there were so many other teams. Better to be able to keep an eye on some small part of the enemy than to be one against so many and all that.

She cocked her head at E4's final question, wondering about it herself. "The final prize must be something absolutely worthwhile," she interjected, then added, "Or perhaps we had no choice." She shrugged. For some reason, it didn't matter that much to her, seeing as how she didn't remember anyway. Maybe it would if she ever regained that part of herself, but for now, her world had narrowed to basic survival.

E-5 looked over at B-4 noting her has one of the people who had attacked him earlier and shrugged his shoulders, "it's ok E-8 I think I'm worth a little more valuable to you guys alive and healed then dead and useless. At least I came back for you guys." He replied a smirk on his face as he went to grab his phone from his waist. He hadn't looked at since he was running and trying to repair what he could of himself but what she said was right. s**t.... He thought as he punched the ground nearly hitting E-8 behind him, this was much worse than he thought. It was plausible in getting out alive with just the E and B teams however now it was multiple teams. He wondered if they were having to face unusual creatures as well? Like a monstrous doom horse or another team needing to dispose of.

"What the hell so not only did we have to face well that Doom with horns here but we have 96 other people to face? I wonder how effing desperate we were to decide on joining this game, maybe it was between life or death to begin with." He replied hoping what he said was true, he would hate himself if he merely joined in for no real reason other than wanting the thrill. That wasn't to say he wasn't having a bit of fun running around however it was apparent that the other members of his team that he was particularly fond of being around might not be there when it ended.

"Honestly I wish I knew E-4, and E-9 no prize is worth this hell."

So much was going on. B9 didn't know where to start. Not wanting to anger the pony thing she kneeled and stayed down during all that went on. "Is the pendant that awesome? I don't want it if people are going to kill me over it..." She didn't want it, she'd find a better way to survive. Even if there were like a million people on this tiny freaking island.

"I'm up for strength in numbers." If it meant living. "Are there more of us then them? What if we don't kill each other and just try to overpower the ones doing this? 96 is a lot of people." Well so far there was this one pony, maybe the other three areas are dealing with the same thing too.

E-3 had managed to make it a few feet before she was bombarded again with attacks. Why? Why was she attacked again? Three times, she'd been gang-attacked three times....

Why couldn't they just leave her be? She stumbled, breathing hard.

Then, the beastly horse decided that wasn't good enough, apparently. The attack pushed her over the edge.

She collapsed. "I'm so sorry..." She called to her group, her voice breaking a bit from the pain. "I could not fulfill my duty to my group..."

And with that, E-3 fell. Her medi-kit in her arms, and her bandages gripped tightly in her hands, E-3 fell. Please, let her team get her healing gear. Please...

E-5 loots E-3's body

"Hey, by the way E-4 what happened to E-3," he replied looking around he didn't notice her on her knees like the rest and before E-4 could respond he got to his knees to crawl around avoiding the chance in standing up against the pony or E-1.

He noticed one of the pinks face down on the ground, and she wasn't moving. s**t... what did they do to you, he thought as he made his way over avoiding the Beta members. He kept taking in deep breathes to keep himself from feeling the need to lash out towards them.

Shaking his head he started to pick up her things, "I'm sorry comrade I truly am and I hate to see you go but there is no point in letting what you had go to waste. I know you would rather us use it than let it rot or go to someone else."

Slinging them over his shoulder he shook his head again before slowly making his way back to E-4's side.

(( E-3 IS APPARENTLY HAVING HER BODY DISSOLVE AND GO TO THE BASE TENT...RIGHT?
(From the death orp, if that's required to be mentioned.)))

E-3's now looted corpse, having lost it's med-kit and the bandages, was rath undistinquishable from the other pink bodies that had fallen before her. Only her numbers, stamped across her helmet, would have let another know who she was.

That was, before her body had started dissolving. The corpse literally seemed to blur into it's surrounding, leaving the corn stalks, leaving everything.

It seemed whole for a moment.

And then, it suddenly was gone. But bodies don't normally disappear, do they?

Well, apparently E-3's had just done so.

((E-3's body dissolving and going to Base Tent now.))
