When Nathaniel saw his badger come back to his desk. He felt relieved as he read its contents. The teacher wasn't annoyed by his lack of messages and had received good marks from his spell. Transfiguration was a great class. There was a lot of students coming in and getting out. He noticed the new guy from Gryffindor. Narcissistic ? No, no. It wasn't like that. What was that other word ? Anyway, Nathaniel thought he'd get his bag and get out of class while he waited for the next lesson.

Ginny was relieved. Amelia approved, from what it sounded like. But, to be on the safe side, she asked "You don't have any problems with it, do you?" She wasn't sure where Amelia stood with Nathaniel at the moment. Were they friends? Were they enemies? She probably could have deduced that they weren't fighting, but who was to say they weren't? Only Amelia could tell her that, and that was what she was hoping to get from Amelia. Maybe there was something more? Who knew. Ginelle just wanted approval from her friend before she made any move.

Hello, Students! I just would like to inform you all that we are taking a test on what we have learned in class so far. Don't worry, it is an easy test, so please do not freak out.
To recieve the test, all you have to do is send me an owl (PM me), and you will have two hours to complete the test. There will be a written assignment that I will give you, composted of 10 questions and a short response essay. Also, there is a practical magic section, where you will come to me individually and perform whichever spell I ask you to perform. I may ask you to do more than one, depending on what I see.
Those of you who have not been in the class as long will recieve a five question written test, and a practical test on the letter assignment.
You have two weeks (Until Saturday, April 9th) to complete this test. Just be aware, we will be starting new lessons while this test is going on. Nothing we cover in the new lessons will be in this test.
[This will take place in PM's. To recieve the test, PM me and I will give you which version of the test I see as fair. Hopefully there is a time where you can sit down with me for about 20 minutes in PM's. I will give you the test, and when I give you the test, you have two hours to complete it. If you send me a PM and I am not online, please be aware that I may not be online for some time. When I recieve the PM, I will send you the test then. If you are not online at the time, I will assume that you only took two hours on the test, and that you are being honest. The test isn't that difficult as it is, so don't worry about it!
The practical of the test can go on for days if you need it to, just the written portion needs to be done within one day if possible.
If something in here doesn't make sense, let me know. I felt like I was rambling a lot...]

New Lesson
The Professor came into the room, stepping very lightly as she walked. She looked up at all the desks, very excited to start the new lesson, and get into some more vigorous work. She hopped up onto her desk to face the students that would very shortly be entering her room. She jumped down onto her chair, then onto the floor.
Well, she wasn't herself right now...

 YESTERDAY
Amelia laughed prettily, did she have problems with it? Of course she did, but with a quick reminder that she would try to stop liking him, she shook her head, "Of course not. 'sides, it's not like you can help who you like." She didn't realize she was beating around the bush, hinting she might like him too. Still she added, "As long as I'm still allowed to be friends with him, it's fine." A quick study of her eyes, Amelia questioned, "I am, right?" With a quick Posta, she sent the letter to the teacher's desk, feeling antsy about what her response would be, if there was one at all.
TODAY
Amelia entered looking happy and refreshed. She'd studied, but also had gotten lots of sleep and a good breakfast. She'd done all the right things, so hopefully the test would go well. As she read the board, she frowned, surprised at how long the test would be, but told herself she could still do it. Especially since she'd used a lot of the spells she'd learned her for her history project. Confident in her skills, she took a seat, ready for the test to be passed out.
((I'm not going to take the test right now; I'll take it later tonight. I'm just going back and forth between things, so I won't have a solid two hours to work on it. Plus, my internet too fussy at the moment to actually have a full conversation through PMs.))

New Lesson
[ That's quite alright. I do not mind at all. I may not be on for a solid two hours either later tonight, but I can at least administer your test to you. As long as you have it in within two hours, it is no big deal. ^^ Now lets see if you can figure this out...]
A creature watched Amelia walk into the room. She hopped up onto a desk, the professors desk to be exact, and began watching Amelia closely, to see if she would notice. Would she notice? She had no clue. She took a seat on the desk, and waved her long tail.
The creature was a Bobcat. There were tufts of straight black hair around her head, and the tail was spotted with more black spots than the rest of her body. Her tail waved gently, and she sat and waited.

Finally, Amelia looked up, her desk all prepared with paper neatly stacked, her ink in its corner and her quill lying down on the side. It still was cerulean blue. Blinking she saw the wild cat. She froze. Glancing around, she was shocked at herself. She'd sensed the teacher, not an animal. Especially not that. Her heart started racing, and she could feel it. Still, the bob cat did not feel like an animal. Perhaps it was because it was surrounded by magic, maybe it had taken some in, giving it much more human characteristics. Either way, it didn't seem to be hungry, more curious about Amelia. She worked to block out her fear, just as she had blocked out the happiness from others in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Her voice was calm as she spoke, "Hello there." She didn't believe it could actually understand her, so the words were more for Amelia's comfort than the bobcat's. "What are you doing here?" She tried to stay conversational, and to keep her desperate glances around to a minimum. She'd never heard of a Animagus before, as it wasn't mentioned in the first year's book, so the possibility of this truly being her teacher seemed unlikely. None the less, it felt as if it were her. A horrible thought came to mind, but then she remembered the wild cat was probably too small to eat an entire person. A kid like her, of course it could, but an adult like the teacher not possible. As she thought, she remembered what class she was in. Transfiguration. With a laugh she broke into a smile. It had to be a desk or something transfigured into the bobcat. Though wouldn't it not have any emotion if it truly were a desk. Maybe, just maybe it was human. "Are you a were-bobcat? Or like a shape shifter?" She ventured a guess, figuring if not then it couldn't tell anyone of her silliness.

New Lesson
The bobcat hopped off the desk, and was standing, right there, on the floor infront of Amelia's Desk. Her head bobbed down, and within a matter of a few seconds, the Bobcat was no longer a bobcat. It was, infact, Professor Soul-Heart. The professor stood up, and ruffled her hair. Like all Animagi, her close reappeared as she transfigured back into a human. She was a registered Animagus, as she was a master of transfiguration. "Why don't we keep this a secret for the other kids?" She winked at Amelia and readjusted her clothing. "Have you ever heard of Animagi before, Amelia?"

Ginny was surprised at her response. 'As long as I'm still allowed to be friends with him, it's fine.' What kind of friend would tell their friend they weren't allowed to be friends with the boy she's crushing on? She laughed a little before saying "Of course you are! What kind of friend would I be if I didn't allow you to be friends with him? You probably knew him before I did anyway." She laughed a little more. Ginelle was very nieve to Amelia's crush on Nathaniel as well. She didn't have any clue what Amelia was feeling. All she thought was they were friends, which was why she was telling Amelia all of this. She wanted opinions, and she wanted help. Amelia was telling her to go for it, and Ginelle took that as an OK to do it.
TODAY
Ginelle walked on into the classroom. The professor was standing in the center of the room, fixing her hair, and there was Amelia, who looked like she had been scared out of her wits. What did I just miss? Ginelle came in and took a seat next to Amelia and started taking out her supplies. She was ready to take the test, because to be honest, what they had been working on in here wasn't that difficult.
|| Since I practically live at Professor Annette's house, and she practically lives at mine, I've already seen the test... It's really not all that difficult, althought I still have yet to take it. I wasn't supposed to see it, but I glanced through it this morning when I came over to grab my bag again... Which I left at your house... again... Sorry. >> The test was up! But it does look really easy... =] Please don't make it harder...||

Sparrow rushed into class the next day. She hoped she wouldn't be late. She looked around and quickly sat down. Sparrow then noticed that they would be taking a test. She froze. She had just started transfiguration she was starting to freak out inside when she noticed that she would be taking a lighter test since she had just started. She let out a sigh of relief.

Amelia's face was frozen, but then Ginelle came in before she could ask any questions. It was tempting to share what she'd just learned with her friend, but apparently it should be kept a secret. She nodded to the teacher, then smiled at her friend. Yesterday had been a weird conversation, but it helped her decide that she wasn't going to actually change anything since she was just being friendly to him anyway, and she'd let Ginny take that step. Last night it occurred to her, the possibility that Nathaniel didn't have a crush on Gin, but on her, but a brief episode of self pity brushed that away. Still she greeted her happily, "Ready?" she asked in a hushed voice, even though they hadn't started the test.

New Lesson
The professor sighed. She wanted to transfigure back before the students arrived. Now that Amelia had known the secret, she would have to wait until the lesson had already started. "Hello, students! Come in, come in. Today, we are going to start a lesson on Animagi, and other humans that have the ability to transfigure themselves. First off, I would like to ask a few questions to start. The first to answer will recieve points for their house, of course if their answer is correct." The professor took a comfortable seat on her desk in thr front of the room. She looked around at the faces, noticing how few there actually were. That was no matter though, she would still ask.
"To start are new lesson, I would like to ask who knows what an Animagus is?" If no one knew, she had a lot of work to do. She had so much to cover, and didn't want there to run out of time before she had to start administering final examinations.

Sparrow quickly raised her hand and said, "An Animagus is a witch or wizard that can transform at will into a certain animal" She had read about them numerous times. She had wanted to be an animagus but it seemed like hard work.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden walked into the classroom, and took a seat next to Sparrow. He wasn't sure what they were learning, but hopefully it would be something good. He hears Sparrow's answer about an Animagus, and he smiled. His mother was a registered Animagus, so it would be fairly easy topic. Although, it was a rather interesting one too. Maybe they would cover Metamorhpmagi and Werewolves as well? He couldn't be positive, but he would ask.

"Correct, Sparrow! Five points to Gryffindor." Annette took a tally in her head of points she would be telling the professor about later. "Alright, now can anyone tell me why it is so difficult to become one? An animagus, that is?" She wondered if any student had known the answer to that.
