Mitsu smiled, "Yeah...it is." Shun's reaction was rather amusing, though she was sure to keep her arm against his while he petted the creature. She didn't want to pull away completely and leave Shun vulnerable. They seemed to like her well enough that they were adjusting to his presence.

Starting to get a little curious the wolf Shun was petting tilted its head over to sniff at his arm around Mitsu's. It's ears twitched curiously as it did so nosing the material of his jacket with interest. As soon it started to show interest the surrounding wolves seemed to change in demeanor. The one that had been circling Shun curiously before came up behind him to have a sniff though his method was a little more encroaching than the other as he sniffed at Shun's rear.

Mitsu looked back questioningly when Shun spoke up, though it didn't seem to be directed at her. "What happened?" She questioned looking back to see but the wolf had already moved on to sniff at Shun's injured leg. Another wolf had come up by this point, its approach a little more nervous as it came to sniff at Shun. It started at his shoes seemingly interested by the smell of the cave floor that still lingered on them.

Mitsu was about to question where the wolf had stuck its nose but seeing that it was sniffing at his injury perhaps it had just nosed the wound. Turning back to the wolf they were petting, Mitsu pulled her arm back slightly so that Shun was the only one touching it, the wolf leaning into his scratching hand.

"I dunno them seem to like you now. You appear very..." Mitsu seemed to search for the word that matched the feeling. "Dominant. That could make them a little uneasy." Though it was hard to ignore the fact that they were still wild animals and that Shun was very much a human. Humans no doubt invaded their territories and hunted them down. It would be hard for them to be trusting right off the bat if not ready to attack to defend themselves.

As soon as Mitsu turned away it seemed the second wolf that had joined them sniffed up the length of Shun's leg before it too nosed the assassin in the rear. There was something odd about Shun not having a tail. While Shun was busy with them a few of the other wolves had approached to check out the bag, one stuffing its head down the open top smelling food within.

Looking over toward the bag Mitsu started to pull back but looked at Shun before she moved. "You think you'll be okay by yourself?" Slowly she pulled away from the small cluster and headed toward the bag being sure to approach slowly. The wolf still had its head down the bag so she knelt down and lightly touched its neck making it jump a little. As it retracted its head it was obvious it had found a sandwich or two, the crumbs of evidence all over its snout. There also seemed to be a bit of plastic hanging from its mouth so Mitsu reached up to pull it away, the wolf leaning its head down to lick at her hand as she did so.

"Did you find something to eat?" She nearly cooed petting the wolf as it came up toward it. Now that Mitsu was closer to the ground it was easier for the creature to sniff at her face, its tongue coming out to graze across her cheek. Giggling a little Mitsu tilted her head away, trying to close up the bag before another of the large canine's decided to explore the bag.

Smiling Mitsu gave the large canine a good scratch behind the ears. She could hear Shun's protest but by the time she looked over the wolf had been pushed aside.

"No, I've never really been around them until now." Then she stopped to think about it. "Well, I guess...this is the second time." She said a little more softly remembering the camp incident. "There was camp but I don't really...remember it all that well. I couldn't even tell what it was a first." As if sensing her saddened state the wolf in front of her leaned forward again to lick her face bringing a soft smile back to her lips.

The wolf Shun had originally been paying attention to came to stand by his side, leaning against his leg while it stared at Mitsu with the other wolves. Apparently he was fairly comfortable with the assassin now.

"I guess so." Mitsu smiled a bit more as she patted the wolf on the head before standing back up. The rest of the pack had diverted their interest back toward the forest. There was no threat here nor was there prey so it was time to move on. One by one they started to take off, the last few lingering for one last pet or scratching before they took off as well.

The wolf by Shun was one of the few to linger, its head tilting up for another pat before he took off to follow its pack mates. Once the wolves were gone Mitsu turned back toward Shun relieved that the encounter had gone rather well. "Do...you still need to rest?" The sun was setting now and the temperature was dropping. With her still damp clothes it threatened to be a long walk back to his bike.

Taking Shun's hand Mitsu gave a nod. "Yeah, I'm ready. Just try not to push yourself okay?" While it would probably be in there better interest to hurry since wolves weren't the only things lurking in the woods, Mitsu was worried Shun would injure himself further.

The walk wasn't too long it seemed as they continued on their journey. Mitsu was obviously getting tired though but was doing her best to stick with the pace that had been set. Her body was still trying to combat the cold that was threatening to sink in again so her temperature was running much higher than normal. "How much further do we have from here?" Mitsu asked looking around as well. She couldn't quite remember where the scruffy man had told them to go.
