"Settlement's just ahead," Sonja called back.
"Look down there," Aydan pointed with his good leg. "Little cave along the woodland ridges. We could rest up there, it'll give us shelter from any storms that may come alone and we'll still be close enough to the village for protection and medicine."

"It looks perfect," Velika nodded. "Let's get settled."
~The three wind soquili made their way into the caves and settled down. For the next few days, Sonja would proceed to train and bond with her new familiar, while Velika tended to Aydan's wounds, none aware that the same creature that had attacked them was stalking them still... But that is a tale for another day, as this closes this chapter of their lives~
