"I've taken worse." Rouge assured her, smiling slightly. "I'm fine. Let's just catch Shadow before he knocks Tails to kingdom come." She hurried into the forest, still a little wobbly, but not as much.

Rosemary sighed and nodded. She'd have to trust Rouge. "Okay, good." she said before hurrying after her. She cast a look back, remembering everything. It'd stay in her head for a while, that much she knew. She shrugged ran it through her head, remaining quiet. She seemed a bit distant too. Something made her act like that but she was starting to wonder if it had been her pure instinct the whole time.

"Aw, come on, please?" Tails was asking Shadow as they caught up with the two.
"No. Keep asking me and I'll-"
"And you'll what exactly?" Rouge interupted, glaring at Shadow. "What's he keep bugging you about?"
"He won't tell me who that metal version of him was." Tails' ears went flat. "I save his butt, and he refuses to answer my question."
"I don't need saving from an eight-year-old brat."

"Aw, Mr. Unemotional here doesn't want his image damaged," she said absently as she came from her thoughts. She smirked. "Man, your mean to kids too? So cold." She shook her head in mock disappointment. "Set an example."

"Don't encourage him." Tails laughed nervously. "Or he'll use my tails to tie me to a treebranch again."

Rosemary rolled her eyes. "Wow, Shadow. Do you really have to pick on the smaller ones? Jeez your such a bully!" she said. She flashed Tails a smile. "I'm sorry but he makes it too easy to mock him." she said, mimicking Shadow's face and movements for the heck of it and mainly to annoy Shadow. "Just shows that he enjoys picking on poor things like you just because he's malevolent, which means he wants to appear or he wishes he was bad."

Rosemary simply beamed. "Ooh, I'm so scared. See? Told you he's malevolent." she stated, giving a purposeful smart-a** look. She continued anyways. "I wouldn't think you have a list. You're so bad that I'm surprised they just don't drop dead from your words." She jerked her head towards Tails. "See him? You've intimidated him by verbal threats. And probably previous assults that I've never heard about. But I'm always gonna assume they were mostly verbal." She listened to herself ramble, wondering if half of it made sense.

Rosemary made a mock look of horror. "Look at that! You're such a...you're so sick! Preying on young boys like that. They should lock you up for that." She looked at Tails. "Don't worry about it. He's being a very mental and sick man right now. Don't listen to a single thing he says." She cast her irritable look back to Shadow. "You should learn empathy mister." she said, making a tsk.

Rosemary nodded her head approvingly. "That was very smart. You don't need to know that kind of stuff anyways. I don't think it's a very good idea for you to fall under his influence." she said, staring at Shadow when she used the emphasis. "Because he's such a dense guy and he tends to have a potty mouth." she said, shaking her head sadly. "I blame his small brain. He only uses vulgar language because he can't think of anything better to say."

"Seriously. He's already gotten the poor kid saying 'hell' instead of 'heck.'" Rouge said, crossing her arms.
"Not my fault the kid's mom makes me babysit him half the time." Shadow said, putting his hands in his pockets.
"And, of course, when Tails returns with a broken arm, you say he fell out of a tree. Which is partly true. Except for the fact that you PUT him in the tree to begin with." Rouge rolled her eyes.

Rosemary let out a sigh. "Sounds like him. But just because he does it doesn't mean you have to." she told Tails. She stared at Shadow again. "And just because your watching him doesn't mean you have to harass him." she said. "If you want a better role model then look at Rouge or someone, or thing, other than Shadow."
