"Drugs don't have the same effect on me as they should.. this body is too advanced for my own good... everything "illegal" that enters my system is just treated as such and expelled one way or another."
He stood up and walked back to the window, throwing open the curtain fully.
"Just need sleep... or something."

"You can tell me if it gets too unnerving. Maybe I'm able to help with my 'alternative' methods." Walking over to the trashcan with her empty paper mug, she watched him out of the corner of her eyes, pondering what question to come up with next, since there still were many things she would've liked to discuss...only that he wasn't in the best physical and thus mental condition to deal with most of them.
Staring at his back almost absent-minded, Lucind spontaneously picked an older matter, although not really sure why. "On that day the stadium was destroyed...what happened between you and...the monk? I only saw the first minutes of your fight..."
The woman wondered if this question even made sense. Little she had heard from Sun, about how they had been able to flee the destruction...purification. "Did you see him vanish?"

"...I wasn't fully aware of my surrounding until the last few minutes... when I was being picked up like a rag doll by winds I had never seen before in my life."
He lowered his head, wondering what exactly she meant by 'alternative' and why his mind was in the gutter briefly.
"As much as I treasure my humanity... I know there's something more inside of me.. something that was never meant to be woken."

A 9 tall foot man with wild long flowing red-orange hair and blue eyes entered the building, and barely made it into the hospital do to his usual size. He sensed immense heat in this building and was tracking, He wore White Boots and Enforced White Dress Pants to be Stylish yet well protected. He wore no shirt of any kind and his immense muscles, didn't seem to be possible for a human, and behind his back lied a huge broad sword that was entirely covered with Red, Orange, Yellow, and Golden material, gems, and metal, but it was hidden in such a way that only those that could see heat or sense it in another way could know it was there, ((I have to go now.))

"Ah...just wondered...met him some months ago..."
Sitting down on the edge of the bed and crossing her legs, the woman leaned on the metal frame and cocked a brow at Vahn's lasts words.
"What do you mean? Has it something to do with the slow break-down of your body? You say it like you could need an exorcist." It was a lame joke, she knew, but still she didn't like the atmosphere to be all tensed up.

"Hahaha... maybe I do..."
"I'm sure you know about the meaning of 'extinction'. When a species cannot ultimately survive in the world as it is... and is ultimately wiped out. The same can be said for my bloodline... my mother's anyway.
I told you before.. 'Killed by the sons of Anak, by the Anakim."
He rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"History has all but forgotten about the Anakim... but many ancient texts.. like religion for example, has not. They were all giants."
Staring up at the ceiling as the sunlight began casting strange shadows up his face, Vahn at last began reciting the history.
"When God created the world, and also mankind," Vahn said, "a race of his celestial beings- a race of giant warriors, fell from God's favor. These giant warriors were called Nephilim, which translates to 'The Fallen Ones' because they fell from God's domain. Kicked out of the heavens, they fell to earth. The Nephilim married beatiful men and women on earth and they could live forever. This angered God of course.. since humans had already eaten from the Tree of Knowledge, and now this.
The Bible itself meantions Nephilim twice," Vahn detailed, " once very early int he book of Genesis- Chapter 6, verse 4--you should know, very close to the creation account itself. It is written, The Nephilim were on the earth in those days- and also afterward- when the sons of God went into the daughters of humans, who gave them children. These were the heroes of old, the men of renown. Then again in Numbers, chapter 13, verse 33, you can see it says, There we saw the Nephilim- the Anakim come from the Nephilim- and to ourselves we seemed like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them. Nephilim were mentioned in many writings throughout history.. most obscure, some obvious."
Standing back up again, Vahn began walking towards the window, opening it and letting fresh air sweep in.
"Now, the story goes, God grew weary of man's evil ways," continued Vahn, "especially now because of the Nephilim, man could live forever. So God wiped out mankind and the Nephilim with the flood of the world-- noah's Ark and all-- and started over.
The flood as we all know it did not obviously wipe out all mankind... Some descendents of the Nephilim survived. Those descendents are the Anakim, the sons of Anak.
My mother was an Anakim. Both me and Victor were born of her blood, the blood of giants, the blood of God... supposedly."
He shrugged his shoulders.

His shrugging made her grin. A funny belittlement of what he had just told.
"Nephilim....Anakim... Yeah, I know this story. But I was never sure where the line between fiction and reality lay." More speaking to herself, she added: "I suppose I could find at least some bits and pieces about the real facts in the lhor aven...after some days of research...
- But well, this explains something concerning your general condition and constitution."

"That's the problem with history... it likes to rewrite itself too much."
He turned away from the window, facing her with a weak smile. "Now, am I going to be staying naked?"

"Don't tell me you have a problem with running around wearing a sheet-toga," she answered, all serious until a grin crept over her face. Lucind checked the clock.
"Well, the ordered clothes should arrive in fifteen, twenty minutes, together with your sword. I wonder though if they're able to actually bring it in here or if they're going to deposit it somewhere outside...maybe near the helicopter."

Ira had silent knocked out the delivery man outside without injuring him in a near by storage room, disguised himself, and took the stuff the man was holding. "I was told to deliver these things here, but the sword won't be here for about an another hour." he yelled while reading a card that he had found on the guy he had knocked out.

((@Edward: After all you wrote bout this hospital I cant imagine someone's able to sneak in like Akira just did. - If you say it is, though, I'm going along with it....aside from the fact that its quite grotesque/uncalled-for. Well, it's been 'discussed' in the ooc...))

"It's not exactly something I'd run around in." He stared down at her, yellow eyes taking her appearence in before looking to the side, avoiding her gaze again. "The sooner we leave, the better. I don't like owing people favours, and I doubt we're as alone as it would seem, but I have no time for making the right choices. I'll take the shortest route I need to getting everything back..." He raised his right arm and flexed it a bit. "No matter the cost."

Still sitting on the bed, Lucind looked fairly amused for a moment when Vahn turned away a second time, a little mischievous even as if she'd just found a new game. "Well, I'm sick of this stuff, too," she answered, tugging at her bathrobe and the plain gawn beneath.
"Guess I'm gonna send Denise and her stuff something...maybe gift tokens for Feimurgan."
Lucind leaned back on her hands and watched out of the window for a while - until her ears twitched and moved suddenly.
"Think our stuff just arrived."
She had made out foreign footsteps outside at the other end of the corridor, behind the double-glass door which only the medical staff and persons with a special permission could pass. Then one of Denise's assistants approached their rooms, walking a little unsure. He first went into Lucind's room. A few seconds later, he knocked on the next door. The Half-Siren opened and in he came, balancing two large boxes which, he said, were full of clothes, a box for each of them. The man left after informing Vahn he could pick his sword on the way to the airstrip.
"My...that's much more than I ordered..." Lucind stared into the first carton. They'd even brought some basic cosmetic and personal hygiene articles. "Huh, and that must be your stuff." She pulled out a deodorant reading 'for men'. "You think that's a broad hint...?" Grinning, she opened the can to sniff the product's smell.
((hope its okay to arrange the arrival of the clothes n stuff by myself))

"Don't bother..."
Without any delay, Vahn had already tore into his box, dragging out the basic essentials: which were basically, pants & shirt.
"Not like I'll be in these for long." He mused silently to himself, remember how many "outfits" he'd ruined in fights over the years. Gonna have to start investing in something a tad bit more durable...
Without any show of modesty, and highlighting his impatience, the sheet around his waist dropped and he already began pulling the jeans on, not even bothering with any undergarments.
Not like he would be the first man she saw naked anyway, right?
