Zoje smiled and turned back to look at the moon. "I love the moon in the summer. Its so beautiful and you can see it clearer than any other time of year."

Zoje leaned her head against Ovans shoulder and vlosed her eyes. She yawned and said "I love you Ovan."

Ovan kissed her hair, dead in the center of her head, pulling her closer, "You know, if you truely wanted it to, it could... But, you choose to do this, to help the students and everyone else... I couldnt do it."

Zoje sighed and closed her eyes again "Kiron once told me that sometimes the most perfect moments in life are the ones not meant to last. He told me that they cant last forever because if they did all of our other memories would fade leaving us with just this one perfect eternal moment. With no other memories this moment would eventually become not only the most perfect, but the most horrible." she smiled "Ive learned to listen to him over the years. Every once in a while I say something as wise as he did."

Ovan closed his eyes as well, thinking he might see what she saw. He felt he scar on his wrist from the first day of med school, how clumbsy he was back then...

"The first day I met Kiron, you know what I did?" Zoje laughed "I kicked him right in is manhood. I still cant believe I did that." she smiled "He stayed on the ground all curled up crying for about half an hour."
