i agree with the inflation theory... But doing this is not going to stop inflation what so ever... I mean I make more of zomg in a day than if I sat an played BG all day.... so what are they gonna take zomg down too?

In my little deprived mind, I can't help but hope the reason DM is getting shut down is because gaia is planning to do something similar.
I know that this isn't going to happen since a lot of users keep blaming the tanks on inflation, when they give NO FAULT AT ALL to zOMG! or any other minigames, or the users who hoard items.so gaia is goin to do something like thiss?

This maybe is to reduce hackers from botting,hacking and things
almost all percentage of players who bots are on booty grab.

Won't be other similar Dolphinmania. Don't you think it's closing, because Es and Lanzer wanted it? Mainly Lanzer wanted it, i think because the inflation, that's the 1st reason. So another Dolphinmania could be public and then Lanzer want to close it too etc.

well i think ik way i think its becuz its hard to keep track of ppl losin gold and gainin gold so fast and i think itsn also becuz ppl are keep scamming and hakers are hard to keep track of

I have a little question;
if someone did something similar to Dolphinmania, do you think it would be closed too?
I wonder if Gaia was against the "program" itself or they were against the fact that it was off-site.
I saw similar programs made by other Gaians, but they were on their threads.

The Rawk Hawk I have a little question; if someone did something similar to Dolphinmania, do you think it would be closed too? I wonder if Gaia was against the "program" itself or they were against the fact that it was off-site. I saw similar programs made by other Gaians, but they were on their threads. I don't believe gaia enjoys off site BG'ing.

Gaia is shutting it down for an obvious reason.
recently a booty grab bot was released that used the dolphinmania site to automatically bootygrab.
gaia, seeing no way to solve the bot's exploitation of their fallible script, decided that the easiest thing to do would be to have the site shutdown, without the site, the bot becomes obsolete, at least for a time until the fix it, eventually gaia is going to have to either improve their script, or simply shut down booty grab altogether.
i suppose all we can do is wait for gaia to do right by their users...
yeah... we're screwedXD

I think it was because Booty Grab was originally a game that you had to FIND to play. Gaia didn't like the fact that Dolphinmania put all the tanks up in one place, so now we don't even have to search for tanks in forums and we go straight to Dolphinmania.
