Now that he mentioned it, yeah, he did have a similar eye color. Lamen hoped this didn't mean he also shared that horrific... blood disorder, if you know what I mean. She decided to evade the subject. Unfortunately she could not evade Cooper's tongue, causing her next words to go something like: "Sorry about the mix-up earli- AGHFSDG;hdlflg!" She quickly wiped off the saliva with a sleeve (thank goodness for long sleeves) and started scratching Cooper's ears, hoping that this would paralyze him enough that he wouldn't lick her again.
"Right, you shake hands differently." She smiled and nodded. "But yeah, what a coincidence. I've met his other brother, Daniel, as well. Big family?"

Drip. Drip. Drip.
Murky streams of freshly poured rain ran down tanned cheeks. Once lively hair, forming perfect curls, was now tamed by the unexpected drencher that had just occurred. As for the attire, completely and utterly soaked. Dark with water, attaching to body it was meant to protect (but failed miserably).
Teddy had not moved an inch since the rain had begun and still remained motionless when it cleared. the four hours he had spent preparing himself back at the house....all for nothing. He had been so excited to show off, so excited to look superior to the rest. But it was all for naught. Instead he'd show up looking rather similar to a wet dog.
A wet dog..........a wet dog.
wet.......dog!
The words echoed in his mind, jabbing, stabbing, ripping at his heart. Why had the world suddenly decided to go against him? Why was life so cruel? There was no suitable answer. The higher powers must have felt a tinge of jealousy! It was no surprise that such a beautiful creature as he could invoke such feelings. And with that, a smile finally formed. Though it was far from appealing. Long wet hair plus eye liner dripping plus a smile equaled quite a terrifying sight.
With the sudden boost to his ego Teddy finally decided to continue his adventure. He'd have to rent a slave pokemon to help him reach the actual destination, and the area was coming into view!

"Hello," Robin replied to the girl beside him, smiling. "Yes, it seems everyone here today is headed for Motterossa. Those Eevee are sure attracting a crowd. Hope we don't scare them off." He extended one arm for a handshake. "I'm Robin, by the way. And you are?"

"Oh! That sounds nice." Penelope loved pidgey and pidgeotto and pidgeot. They were such majestic pokemon. "I wish I had a pidgeot... I'm renting an Onix, though. They're nice." She smiled.
Stitch started bounding off towards wherever that smell was coming from. Probably the kitchen.

Cooper panted softly and leaned into the scratching, looking quiet happy.
Ezekiel chuckled softly at Cooper licking her, shaking his head. "Well, Daniel is not related to either of us, Adriel just calls him brother because of how close he is to him. Him and I are related by our father......" He seemed to thought of something. "Though...not matter how hard I tried, I could not find who Adriel's mother was....Normally, it shouldn't be so difficult. So uh.....how do you know Adriel, anyways?"

Ridley followed Liam up to his apartment, quietly looking around at it, pausing as he looked over the mess, unable to judge him because for a while his own place had looked like that, and Liam was busy. He put down the alcohol with Liam's bags, watching the healer head back to his room and looking around at his quarters, remembering this place from months ago. The cold of the air conditioning was sinking in now, biting into his cold skin, and he pulled off his leather jacket, left with the white shirt beneath, and perked up as he heard Liam remark on the temperature.
"Jesus, tell me about it," Ridley answered, rubbing his arms, listening to Liam move about in his room. He headed back into the hall as Liam asked him to get the duct tape, nodding, following him with his eyes as he headed into Liam's room. He paused for a beat, looking for the drawer, and went forward to get the tape from it, bending over, crouching on his haunches to dig through the heavy drawer.
Ridley froze, his fingers hesitating, flushing. He caught his breath, then plucked the tape out, along with something else, tucking it into the back pocket of his jeans as he straightened, taking the tape with him. "Anything else?" he called, glancing over his shoulder.

Anise smiled and shook Robin's hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Anise. There certainly is a lot of fuss about the Eevees. I'm mostly going along to make sure none of them get hurt in the commotion. I'm a pokemon healer, by the way. How about you?"

Jay found himself running for the stables in the midst of a downpour, jacket pulled over his head. However, before he reached his destination, the rain let up to a slight drizzle. He slowed his pace and looked up at the sky. "Man, the weather here is unpredictable." He said with a slight smile. Passing a few people as they exited the stables, Jay entered. He took a deep breath, loving the smells around him. They reminded him of home. The sounds of pokemon and trainers alike brought a soft smile to his face. Walking further into the stables Jay looked around, wishing that he could own one of them, rather than just rent. He was here in Zatao to finally start out on the road to his dreams. Jay had lost himself in thought and when he rejoined reality he found himself standing in front of the stall to a particularly irked tarous's stall. Jay looked from the pokemon down to the name plate on the stall door, it read: Tsuno. Though directly under that there was a paper written in bold red that said: Caution! Wild Temperament! Jay looked back up at the tauros. Tsuno snorted and stamped it's hooves. The pokemon seemed to be irritated for no real reason and judging by the warning sign, he was like this regularly. Though some trainers would steer clear of the temperamental tauros, Jay was almost drawn to him. With a soft smile Jay walked casually up the the stall and was greeted by Tsuno running at the door. Without flinching away Jay stood there, proving to the pokemon that he was not afraid. "Hey, Tsuno." He said calmly as the tauros reared up trying to intimidate Jay, but Jay didn't react. Jay had always had a knack for understanding the feelings of pokemon and he could feel that this tauros didn't like people. Jay wanted to show Tsuno that people weren't all bad and he would do this by taking him on a journey to Motterossa. Jay placed his tag on the stall door then looking back at Tsuno. Tsuno snorted again, seeming to stare at Jay with an angry look. Jay leaned on the gate, watching the tauros as it seemed to be plotting a way to scare him off. He just smiled, he wasn't easily intimidated or scared. He had a great deal of patience too, he would take his time.

"Nope, I don't think so -- if you have rope, I won't bring any. Possibly some zip-ties... I think I left those in the kitchen from the last time I used them."
Pulling open a drawer in the kitchen, Liam withdrew some eating utensils, zip-tying them together so they wouldn't be shaken around in his backpack and moving back into the living room, tossing them, a few plastic bowls an cups, and some food in with his clothes. He took a few seconds to think about anything else he might want to bring, going still as he did so before standing, zipping up the pack and throwing it over his shoulder, ducking his head past the door frame of his room and knocking on the door.
"Think I'm ready -- lets go grab Soulcrusher."

"I'm sure you'll get one! Avella was actually a mail Pidgey for my dad. That was when she was young though. As she got older, she evolved and became mines so I can make deliveries and such. Oh." hesitating for a minute, Meeka got up from her seat. "I could let you meet her and the rest of my gang if you want! Since the weather let up and the drizzle is none too serious, I can now run the guidelines out for my Pokes. They're a little . . . out of control and I need to tell them the rules and such. Join me outside if you want!"
Turning on her heel, Meeka made her way outside lickety split. She was hoping to get this done soon. Her Pokemon were a little too excited for this event.
Terri glanced over towards the direction in which Stitch shot in than the way her trainer dashed too. Oh gosh! Opting for her trainer instead, the Pikachu bowed in apology to Penelope and dashed to Meeka. Outside, she watched as the other four were released for their Pokeballs. Verkratching, Avella, Kiru and Ebba were out and about, squirming with anticipation. That is when Meeka began to babble on how they should behave like good pokey-poos and not bad pokey-poos. She wished she could give this lecture to Rin . . . but the Mewtwo would likely not listen.

Robin smiled again as he shook the girl's hand. "Anise, what a lovely name. And that sounds like quite a rewarding profession – it must be nice to be able to help Pokemon like that. I... don't really have what one might call a real job. I play the violin, and hopefully if someone appreciates the music they'll leave a small contribution." He patted the closed violin case beside him affectionately. "I call her Elizabeth."

Flint enters the city, he had heard about the swarm on the news and was determined to get his first pokemon, he heads over to the pokemon express to receive his rental pokemon, though usually preferring fire types he decided he would go with Tauros this time, they were sturdier. after going to the ranch and receiving the Tauros, he decides that he should find someplace to stay for the night and head for the nearest Inn

Metal boots clinking as he stepped into the shop, the breeder glanced around briefly to check out the place. It was quaint and typical, bumbling with your usual trainers. Not giving any a particular look or time of day, he slipped in with his Absol at heel, searching for his usual supplies for such treks.
Jon'Cloude stayed close, only glancing once in awhile at the passing trainers, making sure they didn't approach his trainer in any inappropriate manner.

Ridley listened, nodding, hearing Liam looking through his drawers out in the kitchen so he bent to grab a few more things from the drawer in his bedroom, darting out into the living room to stuff them surreptitiously into his jacket and pull it back on, sneaking back into his room for the forgotten tape, and jumped when he knocked on the door, turning to face it and heading out, brushing past Liam.
"All right, great," he grinned, handing him the tape and heading out to grab his alcohol, going over to the front door and holding it open for Liam. "That was quick and painless."

To LiveWire:
[ OOC Note: Both were in the stables, so I figured Miri could talk to Jay! Hope you don't mind. ]
Miriam blinked when she saw Jay walk in and over to the Tauros. The bull pokemon inside the stall seemed to be a bit more gruff in terms of his personality, what with all of the stomping and rearing that was going on. It took courage to approach such a pokemon, and the Ranger couldn't help but admire him for that. Most would have probably steered away from it, but he walked up with no problem. Beside her, the girl cast a glance down at her Delibird. "Reminds me of Allene some, huh," she said with a chuckle.
Fubuki snickered in reply. The girl's Rampardos could be a bit...hasty at times, to but it kindly. She had a tendency to rush head first into things without really thinking, which caused Miri a bit of a hassle from time to time. Still, they managed to get through. When Jay continued to talk to the Tauros, the purple-haired girl managed to make her way over to him. "Are you heading to the swarms, too, by chance," she asked curiously, head tilting off to the side. "If so, it looks like there are going to be a lot of people heading off in that direction."
The delibird down beneath her let out a small trill of a response. Fubuki was a bit wary of large crowds of humans. Large crowds attracted attention, and it was almost certainly of the unwanted variety.
