Yana was more the quick to cover up Sachi's eyes. "14 siblings. 8 of which being shameless brothers. I'm waiting to be impressed."
It was true. She's seen more siblings run around naked than she felt was ever necessary. Sachi however...was an only child. Best not to let her experience that so quick.

"Why cover her eyes? More fun for the whole family!" He chuckled. "Meh, but it's a little cold right now, I suppose I can show off later."
After putting his waistband back on, he laughed an even louder and obnoxious laugh.
"Maybe I'll do it right when we meet Lord Zuko!"

"Royal children? He had kids with that..." Kyoujin pretended to hold back from puking. "That...THING?"

"Say that to Lady Mai's face and you'll be more than chilly, I gurantee it." She paused in thought as her steed clopped along. "They're fairly good kids, a bit hot-tempered, but the whole family is like that. Although...they have been a little down since they lost Uzai."

"Not Ozai...Uzai. Their son." Yana bowed her head at the story, "He ended up dying at sea...he fell off a boat when he was very young and they never found the body."

Kyoujin gawked at Yana then gave a chuckle.
"Not to be mean, but little Uzai or whatever probably jumped off the boat on his own and swam as far away as possible just to escape Mai! Nice name for a kid too."

Yana smacked him. "Don't even joke about that! The entire family was devasted when they lost him. Even after so many years having passed they still feel that pain of loss. Uzai was just as loved as his other siblings."
Yana then scoffed. "But what would you know. You grew up not needing to pay attention to such losses."

Rubbing the side of his face, Kyoujin held himself back from hitting Yana in return.
Taking a breath and calming down, he just shrugged it off again. "You're right. I've never had parents or siblings. Never needed nor wanted them, and the closest thing I got to both I either hated for the time I was with them or totally deserted them."

Kyoujin giggled and pointed at Yana.
"You're funny! Ya know that? I don't want a family..."
He was lying. He knew it. Yana and Sachi probably noticed too, but that's what boys do best, especially him.
"I don't need to feel tied down by someone. I'm fine traveling in groups for a while, but a long-term relationship with a large group of people that will pretend they love me? Naw, I'm good..."

She kicked her steed into action, riding further ahead, nose in the air. She didn't need to put up with stubborn, pig-headed boys to begin with.

"Hey!" He yelled after her. "Not fair!"
He looked down at his steed and whispered to it. "Okay, you need to run really, really fast and go far ahea-...this is pointless..."
He kicked the ostrich-horse who flew back in a roar nearly throwing him off and began stamping ahead to where Yana was, pushing forward a bit more than he intended and over shot her by about a mile. Finally it stopped and when it did, Kyoujin flung himself off and sat down next to it, patting its side while panting.
"I...I think we are g-good until th-they catch up..."

"Ladies and gentlemen, the pride of the merchant caravan," Yana said in a dull mockery. She turned to Sachi.
"But I am a little concerned about you. What are you going to do about your parents? Its understandable for me to keep going...this is my mission after all. But this is your family. They may need you more than you realize. After all, I'm only one cousin...and you have a baker's dozen where I came from." She smiled gently. It would ease her a little to have her cousin out of any harm that could befall Yana during her mission, despite the conflicting worry about being left alone with Kyoujin.
"I only want you to do what you feel is your main priority."
