"It's my job to protect humans, and I'm not going to let you stop me!" She hopped out of the truck through a window and ran next to Kyuu. She glanced at him once, then focused on her running.
"One of these days, she is going to kill herself. I just know it," Nikoli watched as Syl drove the truck. He climbed up to the front seat and watched the bombardment. "All of this for some girl?"

Kyuu looked over and couldn't help but smile when storm made it to his side. "Finally made it back to where you belong." He said referring to her being beside him really just to lighten the mood.

Storm nodded but didn't say anything. It wasn't that she was focusing, it was just that she didn't feel like she could be with Kyuu if she couldn't hold her bargain; protect her family, her semʹya, at all costs. And she couldn't do that right. She didn't pay any attention to her facial expressions, which showed her beating herself up.

"Whats wrong Storm?" He asked as he kept pace with her. He knew her facial expression all to well. He usually wore it himself when he thought of why his parents died and his sister left. A feeling of self loathing and hatred. "Its okay if you don't want to tell me. I'll just stay here til you need me." He said so that only she could hear it and keppt his eyes ahead of him staying quiet for the entire run.

"I failed you Kyuu," she finally said after a few more minutes of silence. "I should have protected you and I didn't. I'm supposed to protect the people I love, and I didn't do that. I stood there while that guy hurt you."

"You did not fail me, I failed you all. I was the last defence against our maiden being taken and I froze like a pup looking over a cliff. I was pathetic." He said looking away. He almost couldn't bare himself when he realized that Storm said that she couldn't protect who loved. Did that mean she loved.

(( the flower maiden was kidnapped and the guy that took her is blowing up the city so now they're escaping before they get blown to bits.))  Noctis growled quietly when Storm defied both him and her human by joining the running wolves, but that could be dealt with later. He continued running and glanced back briefly when Kyuu mentioned freezing when he stood up to the noble, "That wasn't you boy.....that noble wasn't normal, no human should effect a wolf like that..." he said as he ran, taking a corner that lead to the ramp to leave the town.  Sylvia sighed and glanced at Nikoli, "No kidding....but Noctis acted like a lovestruck puppy when he first saw her..so there's something different about her.." She followed Noctis, though the truck's tires and engine were starting to protest, Sylvia knew it would hold together for at least another half-hour at this pace...and since he exit was just ahead so there was nothing to worry about.

 Myia smelt something in the air that she did not like. 'I got this feeling I need to get out of here...' She thought as she dashed for the edge of the city. 'There are wolfs near by.' She looked around at the people she passed as the gut feeling she had grew. 'But they wouldn't believe me at all.' She frowned as she picked up her pace.

"She is a different wolf, meaning she is unusually kind for a wolf. Normally, I don't hang around creatures, but she is just...different." He sighed as he watched the wolves run next to the truck, then heard the engine whine. "How much further could this thing get us?"
Storm nodded at Noctis' statement, but felt that he was mad at her. She ran to catch up to him and smiled.
"Look, you may not be happy that I'm running now, but as a wolf, I know my place is to run with a pack and protect whoever is with me. I screwed up once; it won't happen again," She promised him as she kept running.

Noctis glanced at Storm, "Also wolves supposed to obey the words of an alpha...nor casually toss bonds aside..." he said as he glanced at the jeep, or rather at Nikoli, then at Sylvia briefly before finally exiting the city and skidding to a stop. He looked back at the city, which was about halfway destroyed and giving off a red glow as the northern half burned, the noble's ship hovered high in the sky as it continued it's bombardment. Though through the thick scent of sulfur and flames Noctis picked up another wolf scent, but didn't want to rick going back inside for an unknown wolf since the others would likely follow him instead of staying in a safe place.. so instead he did the natural thing wolves do to warn another of danger and were to come for safety, Noctis let out a long howl that he thought would reach any lone wolves left in the city. Sylvia flashed a grin, "Don't worry about, this baby will last long enough to get us to safety." she said, and soon enough Noctis and the rest had gotten out of the city and stopped, the engine clinked as it cooled down when Sylvia shut it off, "As long as we don't push it that hard too much out here it should last for another couple of years..either way there's a couple of bikes in back so we could keep up with those doggies easily." She smiled at Nikoli.

((sorry guys been really busy with exams should be posting more now smile )) 
Angel nodded her head at Noctis' request and stood beside
Storm if she needed assistance or Kyuu, Angel was happy to
help she didn't speak and just ran beside the jeep just listening
once they all spoke she actually said something. "he
certainly wasn't normal, no noble should have influence over a
wolf" she continued running, the neck tie around her neck
flapping about kind of annoying her but she ignored it. her head
hurt in some way like she could feel someone in pain, a light
screaming pain in her head.

"Even if you're the Alpha of us, you should know where a wolf's place is. I know mine; do you?" Storm asked challengingly. Too many other creature have implied that she had screwed up; well not this time. She turned back to Kyuu. "And it most definitely wasn't your fault Kyuusei.
Nikoli laughed.
"Yeah, the wolves really aren't that quick." He unsheathed his sword and looked around; force of habit. No one respected the power of a sword these days.
