Jack was looking at John and was about to say 'hello' before he heard Kamon and he slowly turned his head towards him with a look of disbelief on his face. "No. No! Your lying!" He turned to John with a look of dessperation. "Please tell me he's lying and that it was a joke!" Jack had wondered what had happened to his son but nothing had made him think this possible.

Kamon's fist balled up tightly, still angry at himself. "I'm not lying, he was a friend of mine, a close ally... I can only wish that he had let us know he was going back, I could have done something..."

Jack looked back at Kamon and looked like he was about to cry but got up and exited the mess hall and went to the couch where Arianne slept and sat down. "Oh god Nick!" Jack began to sob into his hands. Nick was his only son and now he was dead. Killed by Backdraft just like his mother.
"Dad?" Arianne had woken up and looked at her father with sleepy eyes. "What's wrong?" She saw him crying and had had hugged him.
Jack hugged Arianne back and kept sobbing. Knowing that this was the last of his family.

John stepped slowly into the room. "I'm sorry, Jack. Christopher Darpel attacked him in cold blood. He was trying to ensure the safe passage of our crew." Marie walked in behind him. She sat down beside Jack and his daughter, and lightly scratched his back to provide comfort. John placed a hand on Jack's shoulder, squeezed once, and walked out quietly.

Kamon was still sitting in the cafeteria when he heard Jack begin to sob, tears running down his face as well. 'We all have reasons to kill him now... either he has betrayed us.. or killed our loved ones..' Walking to where John was standing, he stood silently for a second. "Is there any way of improving Arashi's armor to deflect beams? It would help alot in taking down Chris."

Having programmed the schematics of the Mach Aegis into the computer, Byrd was now leaning against the wall near the others. "The answer is all too simple. We all know what we must do. But it's not gonna be easy. Cuz if you remember, Chris has a brother as twisted as he is. Alucacrd."
"We need to get that suit done A.S.A.P. If this plan does work, then we got only a small advantage, if that. I really don't like sending another valuable ally into danger. And what's worse, They'll be in the hornet's nest! If anything goes wrong, they're dead."

Jack stopped sobbing long enough to talk. "If your going after the ones who did this then count me in. I'll help you with your gundam. I was employed under John here's father as his chief mechanic. If theres anything you need to do with a gundam i'm your man." His daughter had fallen asleep in his arms so he slowly let her down on the sofa. "For now i'd like to be shown where my son was killed. Mostly for closure if you wouldn't mind." Jack sniffed. Done with his sobbing for now.
Chris had grown bored so he went out in Al's place for the search and destroy mission. He had heard of a new group that had already formed. They called themselfs the: Anti-Backdraft Liberation Front. Chris spotted a group of them and landed in stealth and used his sabers to stab through the closet and cut out a large chunk of what used to be the cockpit. Then he went through the rest like butter and soon four gundams were around his feet dead along with their pilots. Chris took off making sure to use the Buster pistol from Nick to destroy each of them so no other pilot could use the pieces.
Al had taken control over the over seeing of troop movements and enemy activity. It seemed, though their leader was gone, the EF were still putting up a fight across the planet. There weren't many that were very organized but those that were didn't last long. Al's thoughts went to what Chris planned to do next. Though he said kill Kamon he hadn't tried to find him. Not even mention it at all. Al was curious of his brother's thoughts but Chris thought on a level much higher then himself. Even if Chris old him Al doubted he would understand in the long run...but all the same curious he was.
"Now." Jack said getting up. "Before we do anything we need to send out a signal and gather all resistance to us. There's no way were going to win a war with no army. Thankfully I have a specially made encripted signal that could help." Jack pulled a flash drive from his pocket. "Now all we need to know is what frequency Backdraft uses and block the signal from that frequency. Does ayone know?"

"I know the one the soldiers use to recieve orders from superiors, from John's time as a Royal Guard. I doubt that they'll still be using that one, but I'm sure Adalwulf here can find what we need." John and Marie had also arranged for a few of his old war buddies to aid them. "Kamon, I examined Arashi's armor structure. The frame can easily be modified to support armor built to deflect beam energy. From there, it's only a matter of treating and preparing the metal. Take a look at this," John activated a projector nearby. A concept image of Arashi appeared, outlined with MO-style armor. "I give you Gundam Arashi Kai. You all know how I feel about Gundams...they only create violence. But I've come to realize something: violence is the only language the Backdraft seems to understand. So, my friends, when we have built our little guerilla army, let us be sure to send them a message they won't ever forget! Let us pen a letter--using blood, sweat, tears, and cold metal for our ink! We will bring them down!"

Staring at the projection, Kamon was lost in though. "It looks ok, whenever it's ready, feel free to mount it. But leave Zero alone, I am the only person who will do anything with Zero from now on." He had become less talkative since Nick's death, and as such, more reclusive. He walked out of the room, and to his own. Once there, he laid down, and fell asleep quickly.

Adalwulf nodded at Marie's words as he came into the room, watching Kamon leave again. He hoped that he'd get better in time, because right now having a depressed team member would be a bad thing in a battle. Especially if he wanted to join Nick. He pushed that thought away. No, Kamon wouldn't be one to do that, he'd want to kill anyone Backdraft person he got his hands on. He looked at Jack, and smiled. "Finding and isolating a signal shouldn't be too hard. Multiple ones won't be a party either, but it'll sure anger the hell out of 'em when they notice they're being blocked." He tapped the side of his laptop where a second USB port was set beside his own flash drive. "Tell me what to do, and I'll do it. I can probably even make their bathroom lights flash on and off."
Demyan growled in frustration when he uncovered a small black metal box under a boulder. He looked at it closely and noticed the initials A.v.Z. imprinted on it. The beeping sound it emitted ceased when he crushed it under Natasha's heavy foot. He pulled up a small screen linking him to a Backdraft technician. "Well?" The technician asked. Demyan flipped him the bird angrily and lit a cigarette with the other hand. "What do you think? It was another damned decoy! How many times do I have to tell you stupid gits that?!" He took a long drag and exhaled the smoke. "It's not my fault you can't tell the difference between a rock and a base." He replied, amusedly. "And it's not my fault that you can't tell a signal from the back end of a horse. If you hadn't sent me to check it out, you would be explaining this to Chris why you sent a battalion to a decoy, eh?" Silence. "Right, now I'm coming back with Nattie to HQ. Try not to confuse me with EF, okay? Or you'll be wearing that '#1 Dad' coffee mug for a sports cup."

"Well first off." Jack input the device into the USB port. "We have to isolate a signal that most of the Backdraft pilots are using and then make it to where they aren't able to detect the signal that will run througgh theirs. It'll be like an anti-signal. Like a fish swimming up river. I need you to find all this out ok?"

"This is John, armed and launching in the Modus Operandi III for final combat evaluation." John fired the improved verniers and blasted him machine out into space. "Roger. Marie, here. Launching the Modus Operandi II, stand by." When Marie got close enough, she fired all six of her scattering vulcan guns in John's direction. John dashed around and dodged each stream of bullets, pushing the MO3 to its limit. "Excellent, excellent! The response time is incredible. The only limit I can see so far is how much punishment the human body can take." John was pleased to see how well the untested space combat protocols seemed to be working. Unfortunately, the MO1 never saw space combat. "Testing fixed weapons." John unleashed the MO3's hidden beam cannons from their place in the hip armor. Marie took the shot directly in the MO2's chest. The beams dispersed upon impact. "Surface temperature nominal. Well done, darling. This armor you have designed is really something. Well, then. Shall we continue to test our acrobatic prowess?" Marie winked and nodded in the direction of the colony. John returned her coy smile. "Roger that." The two darted back the the colony to continue their game without the mobile suits.

Kamon awoke to the sounds of mobile suits taking off. 'This place needs better soundproofing...' He went into the hangar, Checking on Raikou's repairs, so far, only the lines needed to be reconnected on the wing that had fallen off, and painting was entirely optional. Climbing into Zero, he watched as John and Marie flew back in, and walked off to themselves. 'Good to see they aren't affected as badly as I am right now..' He switched the armor to Yiaba, and took off on his own, wanting to test Yaiba's abilities in space. Sure enough, the blades weren't adversely affected by the zero-g environment. As he darted around, he knew he pushed it a bit too far when he coughed up a bit of blood. Chuckling, he found it ironic that Raikou didn't have this effect on him, most likely because of the way the cockpit was less constrained than the Yaiba configuration. He decided to stay out for a bit, just floating along in silence, nobody taking off to distract him.
