Really? Well, thats gonna be removed, it will stay on this contract instead.

I don't think any summon should be allowed the beheading dance aside from Kamatari, since that is pretty much his entire purpose.

A mongoose you could hold in your hand would probably be D rank. Just because Kuchiyose is a C rank technique, does not mean that all summons have a minimum of C rank chakra cost.

Could I get a size for Senpu?

At the size of Manda. Kachiri is an S ranked summon.

Description: Creatures originating from the book of lore, Chocobos reside in the long forgotten arcane world of Ivalice where they are bred by miniature rabbit like creatures called Moogles. Entities of Aves origin, Chocobos are bird like creatures with long, sturdy legs, great for speed, and tough, hard beaks, perfect for offensive attacks. Though they have wings they are land bound expect for a certain few.

Generally a friendly bunch, Chocobos will rarely attack strangers unless provoked. Once bound by blood, summoners of the Chocobo contract will still need to earn the loyalty of their Chocobos if they hope for the best fighting compatibility with their summon(s). Chocobos are fiercely loyal to their contractors so if they deem their summoner suitable, they will devote their whole being to support him/her in whatever endeavor tasked to their master.

Speed oriented, Chocobos are agile and fast creatures often used for transportation. To make up for their lack of ability to fly, their legs were strengthened to deal with various conditions thus giving them greater advantage on multiple terrains. The Chocobo's greatest weapon is their strong legs and well developed beak. As such, their physical attacks are centered on those two traits. Appearing in multiple colours, each colour indicates a different breed of Chocobo each with their own unique abilities.


Rules:
- Basic summoning rules apply (Summoner must be of Chuunin rank or higher, unless of Summoning profession)
- Summonings must be taught to potential shinobi through original summoner/current contract holder
- Summonings will return to their own world if either of the following conditions occur: chakra pool's been depleted or dismissed by summoner
- Only two Chocobos may be summoned at a time per summoner
- Unless stated otherwise, all Chocobos have speed equivalent to a shinobi of their rank with speed type
- Chocobos D-rank and above can speak in both human and chocobo tongue

Rank: E
Range: 10 mile radius
Description: Chocobos all make the same onomatapia sound of 'kweh' when they cry out to each other, but there is a specific call only known to Chocobos and their summoners. It goes by the sound of 'Cooc Cooc' and when infused with chakra, the call can resound well over a 10 mile radius. This call allows for Chocobos and Chocobo summoners to locate each other on their specific location as well as send out hidden messages. *May be used by both Chocobo and their summoner(s)

Name: Choco Dash
Rank: D
Range: 5 meters
Description: By first surrounding themselves in a coat of chakra, Chocobos become protected by a shell of chakra. Then by sending out a burst of chakra to their legs as they dash forward in a offensive charge, Chocobos can easily knock aside any obstacles and people that get in their way. Chocobos who attempt this technique will look like a flying comet, as such, this attack can only go in one direction and will disburse after a 5m distance.

Description: Strengthening their already harden beaks with chakra, Chocobos can amplify the damaged dealt from a jab with their beak. Releasing about 5-10 consecutive pecks within a sec, Chocobos can deal damage equivalent to a taijutsu specialist with strength as their secondary. Even brick walls fall with this technique.

Other - Also known as the messenger bird, Mika has yet to specialize in any particular field and is considered an all round Chocobo. As a neutral Chocobo, Mika does not have any of the usual greater terrain advantages that other breeds of Chocobos might have but because of it Mika can travel throughout multiple areas with indifference. Another outstanding trait that helps defines Mika as a messenger Chocobo is the special messenger pouch that is always tied around her neck. With the ability to hold almost an infinity amount of objects and still remain weighing less than 2kg, this makes Mika the perfect choice to deliver items to comrades located elsewhere. Mika is also the only one, aside from sealers capable of releasing C-rank seals, who can reach inside the pouch and pull out the objects residing within thus making it virtually impossible for anyone to steal the items.

- able to climb up trees using pure speed alone.

Other - A descendent of the breed of black Chocobos, Kuro is the only one out of all the chocobo summons with the ability to fly. Kuro is a reclusive by nature and prefers to work alone alongside its summoner. Not one for many words, Kuro hates to speak and whenever he does, most of his words come out harsh and mean. Kuro is the easiest to misunderstand among all the chocobos due to his recluse personality but when it comes down to it, he would do whatever it takes to protect his family.

Description: Kuro covers one leg in chakra and focusing most of it on his claws, kicks outward in an offensive strike capable of destroying boulders the size of your average recycle bin.

Rank: D-rank
Description: Kuro charges towards his opponents at full speed and when he's five meters from the target, pushes upward in a leap attack. Though it seems like Kuro would go in for a leaping head butt, Kuro quickly changes it by tilting his head downward and flipping over. With both legs up, Kuro separates them like scissors and aims an axe kick towards the opponent.

Rank: C-rank
Description: Used in conjunction with his flying abilities, Kuro takes to the sky as he hovers above his opponents setting the stage for his attack. Infusing his claws with chakra, Kuro goes in for multiple consecutive downward kicks with both legs (does approx. 20 jabs).

Name: Head butt
Rank: C-rank
Description: By surrounding the front of his head with chakra, Kuro is able to harden his head to be as tough as iron. Pushing off his legs, Kuro sprints towards the opponent and the force from the head butt is similar to being hit in the stomach by a heavy textbook.

Name: Sky-upper Cut
Rank: B-rank
Description: Though most traditional sky-upper cuts are performed with a fist, Kuro uses his head instead due to his lack of actually 'hands'. Best used when the opponent is already sent flying upward, Kuro charges towards his opponent and at the last minute pushes upward and swings his head up using his beak as the replacement of a fist to strike his opponent's chin.

Cataylst: Hearing the key change hidden within chant
Description: A simple genjutsu activated by hearing the specific key change in Murasaki's voice when she does a small chant in the chocobo tongue. Once the catalyst takes effect, the target will begin to hear massive rumbling from any direction Murasaki chooses and a few seconds later, a herd of multicoloured chocobos will come charging straight towards the target. The target will also be somehow rooted to the spot and as the herd charges through him/her, they will feel a prickling sensation from all over their body as if they were shoved and pecked and poked with the chocobo's beaks and feathers.

Catalyst: Noticing the chakra filled feathers
Description: Murasaki will ruffle her feathers, most of which are filled with chakra and scatter a few into the wind. Once target(s) spots the chakra filled feather(s), they will be captured in the genjutsu. In the genjutsu, the wind will suddenly pick up carrying with it more and more feathers. Eventually feathers will start gathering at a fast pace around the target(s), starting at the feet building upward until they are submerged in a pile of feathers. This casts the illusion that they are sufficating and the pile of feathers will seem like lead making it hard for the target(s) to push away the feathers.

Name: Mad Dash
Rank: C-rank
Description: As a genjutsu user, Murasaki is best used outside from the main field of battle. Best at fighting from a range, there are times when Murasaki might find herself being targeted. As a result, this technique was developed as a way to recreate the distance between her and the enemy. By infusing her whole body with chakra, Murasaki is able to momentarily double her speed (speed becomes Kage/Sannin with secondary speed). Using this opportunity, Murasaki is able to dash in whichever direction she chooses in an attempt to put some distance between her and the opponent. This attack only allows Murasaki to travel across 10meters each time its used. **May only be used a maximum 3 times per battle

Other- The boss summoning of the Chocobo contract, Shimitsu is one of the oldest and wisest of this all having lived for the past 200 years. The overseerer of all the chocobo's training, Shimitsu holds vast knowledge over the Shinobi and Chocobo arts. He speaks in a calm and wise tone and will rarely show his anger unless provoked immensely.
Special Abilities:
- all Chocobo techniques (with the exeption of Chocobo Call) will be treated as if one rank higher when performed by Shimitsu.

Rank: A-rank
Description: A more advanced version of the 'Feather Strike' technique used by Asake, Shimitsu infuses multiple feathers (approx. 200) from all around his body with chakra and then releases them all high up into the sky. The feathers, still coated in chakra will then rain down upon the enemy like a barrage of arrows. Feathers can go as far as 20m from Shimitsu and cover about an area with a 10m diameter. The Feathers are powerful enough to pierce solid rock.

Rank: A-rank
Description: By coating the feathers at the top of his head with chakra, Shimitsu is able to sharpen them to act as a blade. This blade is sharp enough to cut through solid rock and all Shimitsu has to do is swing his head as if it were a hand clutching onto a dagger.

@Shay: Immunity to snake venom?

So, Fujin no Mai gives EVERY mongoose the ability to create a whirlwind? Sorry, but if that's the case, no.

@Lilly: No to the elemental Chocobos. Having a summon related to every single element is not allowed. Heck, having a summon related to ONE element is limited enough.

What is a "training rank"? Underneath all your summons ranks, theres a higher rank called the "training rank". All summons stay the rank they were created as.

Those jutsu are mostly alright (except for the barrier and barrier ability for the dash), but should not be usable by humans.

20 MILE radius for chocobo call? Thats a BIT extensive.

How would a screech distort a person's vision? Furthermore, how would an E rank summon do that?

Is barrel roll pretty much an escape technique?

Mika's ability of transporting any item with absolutely no chance of it getting stolen seems a bit.....unfair. Please edit it somewhat, to not be quite so impossible to get whatever is being transported, should someone really try to get it.

I can't allow the chakra transfer, as it pretty much lets you summon the Chocobo for free (-9 for summon, and +10 for the jutsu) and the fact that it gives you chakra at all.

I can't allow a medical ability for a summon, or for a summon to be able to summon another summon (a summon within a summon....kuchiyoseption)

Please change feather shower to A rank. It seems like too much for a C rank to be 20 feathers, and a B rank to be 200.

You CAN make your summons bigger, if you want. Your largest summon, at 130 inches, is smaller than some B rank summons. The maximum summon size is the size of Gamabunta or Manda.

Immunity to or heightened defense against snake venom is a legitimate characteristic of the mongoose family, or herpestidae.

"Mongooses also have receptors for acetylcholine that, like the receptors in snakes, are shaped so that it is impossible for snake neurotoxin venom to attach to them."

You do realize that there are only two mongooses, right?

This technique disburses after either two hit of equal or lower ranking techniques or from one technique of higher ranking. While protected by the barrier, user remains rooted to the same spot.

Other - A descendent of the breed of black Chocobos, Kuro is the only one out of all the chocobo summons with the ability to fly. Kuro is a reclusive by nature and prefers to work alone alongside its summoner. Not one for many words, Kuro hates to speak and whenever he does, most of his words come out harsh and mean. Kuro is the easiest to misunderstand among all the chocobos due to his recluse personality but when it comes down to it, he would do whatever it takes to protect his family.

Description: Kuro charges towards his opponents at full speed and when he's five meters from the target, pushes upward in a leap attack. Though it seems like Kuro would go in for a leaping head butt, Kuro quickly changes it by tilting his head downward and flipping over. With both legs up, Kuro separates them like scissors and aims an axe kick towards the opponent.

Description: Used in conjunction with his flying abilities, Kuro takes to the sky as he hovers above his opponents setting the stage for his attack. Infusing his claws with chakra, Kuro goes in for multiple consecutive downward kicks with both legs (does approx. 20 jabs).

Description: By surrounding the front of his head with chakra, Kuro is able to harden his head to be as tough as iron. Pushing off his legs, Kuro sprints towards the opponent and the force from the head butt is similar to being hit in the stomach by a heavy textbook.

Name: Sky-upper Cut
Rank: B-rank
Description: Though most traditional sky-upper cuts are performed with a fist, Kuro uses his head instead due to his lack of actually 'hands'. Best used when the opponent is already sent flying upward, Kuro charges towards his opponent and at the last minute pushes upward and swings his head up using his beak as the replacement of a fist to strike his opponent's chin.

Cataylst: Hearing the key change hidden within chant
Description: A simple genjutsu activated by hearing the specific key change in Murasaki's voice when she does a small chant in the chocobo tongue. Once the catalyst takes effect, the target will begin to hear massive rumbling from any direction Murasaki chooses and a few seconds later, a herd of multicoloured chocobos will come charging straight towards the target. The target will also be somehow rooted to the spot and as the herd charges through him/her, they will feel a prickling sensation from all over their body as if they were shoved and pecked and poked with the chocobo's beaks and feathers.

Catalyst: Noticing the chakra filled feathers
Description: Murasaki will ruffle her feathers, most of which are filled with chakra and scatter a few into the wind. Once target(s) spots the chakra filled feather(s), they will be captured in the genjutsu. In the genjutsu, the wind will suddenly pick up carrying with it more and more feathers. Eventually feathers will start gathering at a fast pace around the target(s), starting at the feet building upward until they are submerged in a pile of feathers. This casts the illusion that they are sufficating and the pile of feathers will seem like lead making it hard for the target(s) to push away the feathers.

Description: As a genjutsu user, Murasaki is best used outside from the main field of battle. Best at fighting from a range, there are times when Murasaki might find herself being targeted. As a result, this technique was developed as a way to recreate the distance between her and the enemy. By infusing her whole body with chakra, Murasaki is able to momentarily double her speed (speed becomes Kage/Sannin with secondary speed). Using this opportunity, Murasaki is able to dash in whichever direction she chooses in an attempt to put some distance between her and the opponent. This attack only allows Murasaki to travel across 10meters each time its used. **May only be used a maximum 3 times per battle

The overseerer of all the chocobo's training, Shimitsu holds vast knowledge over the Shinobi and Chocobo arts. He speaks in a calm and wise tone and will rarely show his anger unless provoked immensely.

Description: A more advanced version of the 'Feather Strike' technique used by Asake, Shimitsu infuses multiple feathers (approx. 200) from all around his body with chakra and then releases them all high up into the sky. The feathers, still coated in chakra will then rain down upon the enemy like a barrage of arrows. Feathers can go as far as 20m from Shimitsu and cover about an area with a 10m diameter. The Feathers are powerful enough to pierce solid rock.

The Mantis family live in the Infested Forest where millions of bugs exist. The Mantis Family of course is the top ofo the foodchain there, and one of the few notable species. The Aburame clan is seen with a higher respect than most other ninja, due to their own control over bugs, but are not the only ones capable of working alongside a Mantis summon. All mantises can fly, and most cannot speak. Like normal mantises, they are also able to turn their heads up to 300 degrees giving them a quick survey of an area, and have very good eyesight. All of the mantises are predatory, and will ask permission to eat any corpses. It is agreed when you get the contract that they will eat your body should you die before them.

Martin is a very curious individual, who wishes to see the world, and because of this he generally travels with whoever the “Original Summoner” is. He stands 5 feet tall, and is strong enough to match a Genin Ranked taijutsu user. In another hundred years Martin will kill his father in a ritual, and take his place at the throne.

Description: The Giant Mantis is the most common of the Mantis family. These Mantises stand between 10 and 12 feet tall, and have varied personalities. These mantises follow the strict martial arts teachings of Takezo, and are able to fight up to B-ranked taijutsu ninjas. They also learn the secret mantis jutsu which makes them very useful in battle.

Description: The first son of the Mantis Overlord, Takezo is the Martial artist of the family. He would be next in line for the throne, but has no interest in it. Unlike the other mantises the Overlord Is too big to merely blend in with things. He developed his own special camouflage that instead gives him the likeness of a tree. This of course includes any form of tree that he sees nearby, although his height will not change. This is actually a powerful genjutsu rather than natural camouflage, so is very difficult to see through without assistance (like a bloodline)

Great Wind:

Mantis inhales deeply and then exhales a vicious stream of wind capable of holding back a small army of ninjas. The blast of wind is capable of uprooting trees and blowing down medium sized houses. Any enemy caught within the blast will find it hard to stand up at all as they will be pushed back with the force. If used in the desert the wind is capable of stirring up enough sand to create a huge sand storm in their area.

Description: The Mantis Overlord is the King of the bug world. It eats all who attempt to overthrow it, and is by far the strongest of the insects. He is 20 feet tall, but strong enough to match Gamabunta. He is one of the only mantises that can speak. He has a short temperament, and dislikes being summoned for anything but a battle. Until someone earns the right to summon him, he will only speak through a translating Mantis. However, he enjoys a good battle, and will most likely want to eat the target after killing it. (He won't do so without getting permission first however) He is a fairly slow walker, due to the fact that he rarely needs to move, however his strides reach much farther than a normal human could hope to run in the same time. His arms on the other hand are very fast, as well as powerful. The Mantis Overlord is mostly a physical fighter. Although his legs aren't quick the rest of him is. He uses his steady platform of multiple legs to literally roll with the punches allowing his upper section to dodge attacks fairly easily. He uses his serrated scythe-like arms to slash and grab hold of enemies, and then bites their head with his powerful jaws.
The Mantis Overlord uses Blunt force rather than speed most of the time, but was the mastermind behind the Kung-Fu style used by his son Mantodea.

Mongoose Summon:

History: The art of summoning the mongooses manifested in Sunagakure during the time of the Godaime Kazekage. The art of summoning these animals is unlike any other summon. The mongooses are based on speed, coupled with offensive power, to deliver devastating attacks. They do not rely on brute strength, or enormous size. Too much bulk would simply weigh them down. The mongooses are the masters of Wind release jutsu, being heavily associated with Temari of the Sand's summoning technique: smearing her blood onto her giant folding fan in order to summon Kamatari. Since then, the clan of the Mongooses has expanded, the Summon developed further. The strength of Kamatari and his clan often go underestimated, the key factor in bringing down the opponent. The Mongoose family are known for their bitter rivalry with Manda and the snakes due to their natural resistance, or in some cases, immunity, to snake venom.

The baby of the Mongoose clan, Kizoku, is the first stage that the Summoner will master. Being smaller and weaker than her fellow Mongooses, Kizoku is more suited for stealth and diversionary tactics than for offense. She is, however, capable of performing the Quick Beheading Dance like the other Mongooses. The strength of the Dance, however, is less when used by Kizoku due to her obvious lack of power.

Eri, due to her size, is able to perform only a very weak version of the Dance of Blades, and Kosa no Mai. Possibly the most peaceful of the Mongooses, Senpu is not one to be looked down upon. Senpu is the third stage of Mongooses that the Summoner will learn. The strength of this Mongoose is surprising considering his peaceful nature. Senpu is known to be very loyal to both Kachiri and the Summoner, and will use force if necessary to protect either, though his strength is less than that of Kachiri.

(Senpu is roughly ten feet in length when Summoned, but can use the Relative Size technique to alter his size.)

Wielding a deadly sickle, Kamatari is known to perform the Quick Beheading Dance, nearly obliterating his enemies.

Her left eye slashed open at some point in her nebulous history, Kachiri displays her scar proudly as a symbol of her endurance. The scar stands out considerably against the milky white of her fur. Kachiri, aside from having a physically distinguishable characteristic, is known for her devastating offensive power, aided by her long, razor-sharp claws, and equally deadly teeth. Kachiri is known to have strength rivaling that of Manda, adding to their hatred for one another.

Kuchiyose: Kirikiri Mai (Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance)
Strength Rank: A
Paying the blood toll for the Boss Summon whips up a tempest and summons Kamatari who rides the wind, slashing through everything it touches. The effects of the technique stretch outwards for several hundred meters. The swirling winds also whip up trees, boulders, and other forms of debris, which then rain down on the helpless enemy. It is highly effective when surrounded on all sides, when the enemy's position is relatively unknown, or when the enemy is hiding behind a shield. One of this technique's few weaknesses is the fact that it exposes the user's position. If the user is not careful, they could also be damaged by the debris and cutting winds caused by Kamatari’s appearance.

Kuchiyose: Fujin no Mai (Summoning: Dance of Blades)
Strength Rank: A
Exclusively used by the Mongooses, the Dance of Blades is a technique similar to the Quick Beheading Dance. Using their affinity for the Fuuton jutsu, Kachiri and the other Mongooses are known to be able to have some control over the movement of the whirlwinds they create. The crescent-shaped whirlwinds are known to slice through flesh with ease.

Kuchiyose: Soyokaze no Mai (Summoning: Dance of Gentle Winds)
Type: Supplementary
By tributing a total of three chakra points per post, the Summoner can gain access to the Dance of Gentle Winds technique. This jutsu allows the user to move one speed rank faster than normal. This technique lasts for a maximum of four posts.

Kuchiyose: Sotai Oki no Jutsu (Summoning: Relative Size Technique)
Type: Supplementary
A simple trick, the Relative Size technique allows Kachiri and the Mongooses to change their size on the battle field. When Summoned, Kachiri's average size is that of Gamabunta or Manda. Senpu's average size upon Summoning is twenty feet in length. However, with the Relative Size technique, they can shrink to that of her Summoner, or grow to their maximum sizes.
(*Kachiri's max size is that of Manda or Gamabunta, as is Kamatari's. Senpu's maximum size is forty feet in length. Nakuru's maximum size is thirty feet. Eri's maximum size is fifteen feet. Kizoku is unable to perform this technique.)

Kuchiyose: Kosa no Mai (Summoning: Dance of the Cutting Sandstorm Technique)
Strength Rank: D
A weaker technique used by the Summoner. By summoning the power of this jutsu, the user creates a sandstorm which inhibits the opponent's vision for four posts. The sandstorm also causes minor lacerations and cuts due to the debris being swirled around in the air.
