Acelin thought for a moment he was tired but not enough to want to go to his room. Though swimming did catch his interest, he looked out a window. It was still afternoon. "Would it be alright to go swimming after the sun sets?" he asked curiously, but to pass the time he didn't know what to do. He thought a bit more, it seemed he was doing that alot recently, thinking.

//////Sam got to his feet at the same time, and watched Amune carefully, when the boy wobbled he was ready to catch him if he fell. "Eh, yeah, we're going to check some places out." He gave a nervous smile, and stood straight once more.
//////Straightening out his smile now to, he lightly took the boys outreached hand, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to catch you if you fall." The boy suddenly had a very warm, and charming smile about his features, completely different than the smiles he's given off earlier.
//////Nodding in reply to the boy he lightly gave Amune's hand a small tug to get the boy to follow him down the hallway they were currently near. He was curious what they would find, and if anything it would be fun to see what would happen along the way as well.

Amune smiled more widely, blushing slightly as he held onto Sam's hand. He was warm and soft.....he liked it.
He also liked the feel of little Elan perched on his shoulder. It was nice to have a companion like that, almost like a sort of familiar. Already, he knew he was going to be alright here.
Though, in sudden thought, the hope was dashed. Would Sam feel so comfortable around him if he knew the things that Amune....Though I was called Cal then, wasn't I? Pip.....Steel Rose.....A shudder ran through him quickly, racing down his spine. Down his heavily scarred spine.....
He winced a little but tried to hide it best he could.
They were going to explore! He had to get excited! They were bound to find something interesting in this enormous place.
"I hope we find something cool, you know?" he said, trying to get his head back into the game, "Wouldn't that be something?"

Esqyn hugged Louie tightly, stroking the boy's hair, but frowned worriedly when he heard the boy. He only held him closer, protectively, wings wrapped around the boy. He whispered softly, "that never has to happen again, Louie. All right?" He kissed the top of the boy's head gently, keeping him close. He wondered sadly what the boy had gone through, and vowed to make sure he didn't suffer like that again. Here at Saekii... he could have a better life, though, Esqyn was sure of it. ******** Kael smiled, and nodded in response. "Sure, it should be fine, especially if I'm with you. It's the best time for swimming, in my opinion." Kael walked over to one of the large windows, looking out. Down below were lavish gardens; sections of elaborately structured herb gardens as well as rose gardens and perennials. Beyond that Kael could make out the training field, where Aries probably was, and the stables next to it. Just past that, too far into the woods to make out from here, was a large, clear-water pond which was perfect for swimming. "I suppose," he mused, "we could go for a ride before that, too, or take a look at the gardens. It's up to you." ******** Elan chirped happily, keeping close to Amune, peeking curiously at each of the doors they passed, wondering what was behind them, and which one the two boys would pick. His small white ears were perked up attentively as he listened curiously to the two boys.

Louie snuggled close. Never had he felt so warm and safe before and he knew it now he was in love so very much in love with the other. He dare not say it first though he was to scared too he had been hurt before. He smiled and kissed the elf softly on the cheek. "Well..I wonder where we should go now." he said thoughtfully looking around. He decided to walk to the right pulling Esyqn along with him.

Acelin nodded in agreement, "It is the best time to swim." he said smiling. Acelin thought for a moment of something to do to pass the time till night fall. He wasn't the best at choosing something to do. He glanced out the windows. "Can we go to the forest?" he asked.

/////Sam was smiling softly; however he felt a small shudder run through the boy as he held onto his hand, but at first considered it was just his body getting used to the fire angel's temperature. As they walked he gazed at each, and every door, keeping a moderate pace as to consider which one looked interesting.
/////Hearing Amune speak again he turned his head towards him immediately, "I'm sure this place has some pretty cool stuff hidden. Last I heard this place has so many rooms left unexplored, and even forgotten, that there could be anything." He smiled more at the thought of what they would find, his heart was pounding excitedly.
/////As they approached a double door made of what appeared pure oak, but a dark cherry in color, he paused. The door itself was at the poorly lit end of the hallway, easily forgotten for its dark shade, but held black doorknobs and decor over the door. "How about this one?"

Amune looked up at the door, reaching out with the hand that wasn't laced with Sam's to touch the wood. He looked around with eyes that were darkening from blue to black. Then he looked back up at the door, judging something imaginable.
He smiled widely,
"Let's take the road less travelled, then!" He grabbed the handle and pushed. The door swung open with impossible grace--not a creak at all, and it wasn't near as heavy as it looked. Amune looked shocked to see that that was all it had taken to push it open.
Amune hesitated, but then took the proposeful step forward.
You can't be afraid anymore, Cal.......
"Let's go this way~"

Sam watched the other boy as he opened the door, watching as it slid open without a sound. He was surprised as well to notice that the door took so little to open despite how it appeared, but he couldn't be too surprised, he did live here for quite some time.
"This will be interesting," he spoke softly, walking with Amune within the room it led to. But it wasn't just a room that they walked into but a darker hallway with what seemed like several doors aligning either side of the hall. Confused, and shifting his shoulders slightly, he reached out to one and hit the door only to hear a hard wall behind it.
"I think... some of these are fake rooms, if you hear an echo behind one then there should be a room there." He spoke softly to Amune, but still kept close to the other boys side.

Amune nodded, tightening his grip on Sam's hand, moving along the hall with him. He rapped each door they passed with a knuckle, listening carefully. Many of them didn't seem to be real doors. Finally, one he hit echoed and Amune smiled,
"This one is real. Let's go this way,"
He grasped the handle and pushed to door open. This one creaked eerily and lead onwards into a dark room. Amune stared into the dark, hesitant to go on. He swallowed hard,
".....I don't know....if I want to go this way....."
I hate the dark. It reminds me of......

"Well, to be honest... I don't think any other ones are any better." Sam gave a sympathetic smile, but still holding Amune's hand he stepped in front of him. "Besides, did you forget who your with?" A grin slipped across the fire angel's lips, and he opened his wings behind himself as he stood part way into the room.
The boys wings lit up, taking on their bright orangish-red light, but it also caused his hair to do the same becoming a deeper red. The strange thing, was that with his energy released he was pleasantly warm and he looked like glowing ashes were falling around him, but nothing was being burnt.
"Remember, I told you I'd protect you." He reminded Amune with a smile again, and slowly backed up into the room with a gentle tug on the boys hand. He was lighting up the room more than one could really say otherwise, as it appeared to be filled with dusty books and papers sprawled everywhere, even what appeared to be as junk. Or was it?

Amune stumbled a little, following only because Sam had a secure hold on his hand, but he didn't want to. He broke into a cold sweat. He tried to calm himself with deep breaths, but couldn't manage to do it. He panicked, diving forward, into Sam's arms, as if to be protected by something coming after him from behind.
"Nya-!"
After a moment, he managed to calm down, still holding onto Sam tightly. His eyes slowly ventured around the room, taking in the library-esk enviornment.
What was this place-?
(We shouldn't venture too far. We do have Elan with us.)

Louie was managed to do something stupid. He had gotten seperated from Esqyn. He looked around frantically but he was alone. He sat down and began to panic. He was alone and lost.
