Kat took one last look at her class and nodded, turning around. "Come on. I'll hijack some car from the parking lot, and we'll head over. Be damned ready to run, because I am not getting pulled back into that place."

Kat turned and looked at him. "Do I look like I randomly take on people in fights? I mean really? Hell I've got a bullet hole in my side. What makes you think I can even take out one of these guys that happen to be bigger and scarier than me?"

Kat let out a sigh and started down the hall with him. "I suppose I can hit them with a car. But if this starts going bad, I'm driving the hell out of here....and without you if I have to." She hooked her bag over her shoulder, exiting the school and heading towards the faculty parking lot.

Kat turned to look at him with a grin. "Just don't get in the way of the car, and we'll do fine." Kat picked out a slightly older looking car, assuming it to belong to one of the english teachers. "Go do your thing, Rook, I'll be right behind you," She said as she broke one of the car windows.

Kat shrugged, "This way it lets off some steam." She opened the door and slipped into the car, quickly jimmying around with some wires to start it. "Get your a** moving, so we can get this done before they leave, Rook."

Kat wasn't far behind him, taking out a couple men with the car. She'd tried not to directly make them street pizza, but she wasn't sure how well she accomplished that. "Grab the stuff and get in!" She called out the window, making note not to mention him by name.

Frozen in place, Adam readied himself for whatever would happen next after he had heard Mr Crane and others struggling, and a car screeching to a halt somewhere in front of him, followed by heavy thuds on the ground. He didn't want to think about what caused those.

His grip around Zipper's harness was tight as his dog growled protectively. The tussle continued, and Adam tried to keep calm and the vision he had earlier that day out of his mind, all but the part where he had heard Rook talking to him.

...wait, Rook? That wasn't-

It finally snapped in his brain that Rook's voice wasn't in his mind he he was right in front of him, telling him to go with. With out a second thought Adam nodded vigorously.

Kat peeled away quickly. She glanced momentarily back at the school as she exited the parking lot. She wouldn't get a chance to go back, ever, not after this. The thought kind of stung, though she couldn't pin point exactly why.

She brushed the thought away quickly as she pulled out onto the main street. "So now that we're done nabbing blind kids and their dogs, we can head home. Roxy sent a message. We've got a new base, of sorts."

Kat glanced in the mirror briefly, looking at the kid. "Alan was it? Haven't been properly introduced....I never considered chains and dungeons much of an introduction at least," she said with thoughts of their initial run in.
