It referred to the mammals as the 'pelts', that's all. No biggie.
Anyway, the position sounds like it would be quite fun, though a challenge. Is there a way to formally apply yet?
By the way, which form is usually the standard form? Or does that differ from person to person?

Ahhh, well, the "Pelts" just seemed too weak a name. Later, using an online thesaurus, I discovered the name Taws as a synonym for Pelt. Viewing the mammals (dominant form of life on Earth) as similar to the Native Americans, I renamed them as the Taws Nations.
The formal applications will be ready soon, as the guild is getting storyline typed up and fleshed out a bit. I hate to keep saying 'soon,' but such is at least honest. for now, I am trying to build hype, raise awareness, and generally get some form of word out. I dare not go into the wilds of Barton . . . so I work with what I know to be a far better group- the cross section of our world that is the Refuge.

yeah, yiffing is sexual activity among anthropomorphic individuals. No real problem with initimacy, but the guild should not become a haven for furries looking for somewhere to be emo and yiff like mad. sweatdrop

Is there any chance of you putting up the character skeleton? It would give people here more time to create their charrie.

Other: -->Fair warning<-- While I have no problem with furries, or anthropomorphic animals, this is not a place for such. When in midpoint, one is still conscious, but highly influenced by beastial urges. Should you read these, put an emoticon in your profile so I know you read these. If you have a problem with furries, I will personally ban you. If you make anything like a rainbow wolf with wings, I will ban you. There are only pure animals available for player characters. No half-a half-b. Wolf? fine. Bat? fine. Wolf with bat wings? No. No. Yiffing. Period. If you want an animal with an unnatural hair color or marking, such as pink/blue/green hair on a wolf, you must stay in that form and get it dyed. When you change back, the hair retracts, and you are left with a stain on your skin. The next shift leaves the stain in the skin. Animals will be marked as they naturally are in the world. No exceptions for PCs.
This is what I have as the work in progress for the character skeleton and the provisos just yet.
