I am looking for a Sensei.
For two years now I have tried to teach myself Japanese and it's just not working. Why? Well my plan is to in the very near future live in Japan, however I think it would be a little silly to want to go there for schooling and to live there and not know the language.
I know some basics, like how to pronouce words and what not. However when it comes to the scentence particals or anything beyound that I am totaly lost.
If anyone is willing to help me, here are some ways to contact me.
Pm me here Email: Kagomehigurashi0890@yahoo.com, tifachan0890@yahoo.com yahoo: kagomehigurashi0890@yahoo.com myspace: www.myspace.com/tifachanluvsyou

Hah, since I have no idea who has been replied to on this thread . . . I guess I'll just add myself, too. =)
I'm a 19 year old college student currently in her fourth semester of Japanese. (My classes use the Nakama textbook series, if anyone's familiar with that.) Since this is the last semester offered at my college, and I won't be going abroad to Japan until over a year from now, I'm in desperate need of someone to help me keep my skills (pathetic as they may be) in decent shape.
So I'm looking for a conversation partner, preferably someone who can type in hiragana/katakana/kanji on their computer such that I can read it. I suppose I'd be willing to try to tutor someone, but he/she'd have to be willing to take whatever I say with the knowledge that I'm still learning myself, and I'm therefore not the most reliable source of information.
If anyone's interested, drop me a PM and we can go from there!

Hi, I need a tutor, I am 14. You can pm on gaia, e-mail me (forever_asian_love@yahoo.com), or im me on yahoo messenger concubine_of_flesh. I am good at speaking it, it's just my bad memory. Thats why I don't know that much because of my memory. I need help on sentence structure, and a list of quite a few of the verbs common and uncommon would be nice, there is more but i'll go into detail when you pm me. I need tips to help me remember things and let's see.... I will be on ususally on weekdays 5:00-9:00 and on the weekends about 1:00-7:00 to 8:00. I am on central time in the U.S so you are going to have to figure that out ^^ Thank you very much in advance.
