Hanaka dragged herself in from the kitchen. She was obviously distraught by the way her ears were laid back and her tail hung low. She found herself lying next to the couch were Wolfie snoozed as an attempt to not feel terribly alone. But she knew here she wouldn't be bothered.

In her doze, Wolfie drapped a restful arm over Hakana, perhaps out of habit with her own dozen or so that were usually at her side. Gently she ruffled the Moonlits fur as she fell deeper into sleep. Malibu watched and slowed her bobbling down. With a tiny, quiet chirp she fluttered from the room in search of more interesting things to do.
Ripple and Robyn were busy teasing Spud, who was curled up in front of the fireplace, lolling on his back. The two older moonlits were not being malicious, just inquisitive. Afterall, he wasnt quite like any of the others around here. Spud ignored them and rolled happily in place.

Hanaka jumped up and yelped at the touch of Wolfie. Not that it would normally frighten her, just she had thought the human was dead asleep and didn't expect Wolfie to pet her. Having realized what was going on, she cocked her head to the side and whined a little. "You scared me." she heard herself say, scaring herself a little.

"Flower puppy! Flower puppy, are you in here?" Rosemary didn't really mean to sound rude as she called for the pup her brother had been extremely rude to earlier but she couldn't, for the life of her, remember the pup name. Sliding into the common room, Rosemary paused and cocked her head to the side; a habit she had picked up from her babysitter Freya. She spotted the pup on the couch with a human she had only seen in the halls. Creeping up slowly, she sniffed at the human and the flower puppy.

Hanaka lifted her head to see a moonlit sniffing the air in her direction. She whimpered a greeting and flashed a small smile. "The name is Hanaka; not flower puppy." She chuckled a little. She had never been dubbed 'Flower Puppy' before. "What'cha need?" She questioned with the peppiest voice she could pull in her dismay.

"Well...." She took a deep breath and continued very quickly; bowing her head. "Are you alright? Mercy was only being an idiot like he usuaully is when he's around older moonlits and I dont think he meant what he said or at least I hope he didn't mean it....do you have a cup of water?" She ended randomly, flopping over from talking too fast.

Hanaka sat staring in confusion; her mind was still trying to register what all was said. Then, finally catching it, replied stupidly, "No. Sorry. But I saw a water bowl in the kitchen." She had purposly avoided all talk about things said by, whom this moonlit had referred to as, Mercy.

"Oh..." she replied, sitting up slowly. Rosemary study Hanaka carefully with her dark eyes and shook her head. "I know I shouldn't even be in here aplogizing for something my older brother did but, I'm the peacemaker of the family and I just came in here to make sure that you didn't hold any bad thoughts of our family so that we could possible be friends one day..."
Rosemary stood and bowed once more before Hanaka as she backed up towards the door. She tripped over a newspaper and flopped over.

"It's okay. Thanks. I'm fine." She smiled and watched Rosemary start to walk away. She jumped up and ran over when she saw her fall. "Are you okay?" Hanaka layed down next to her with a whimper.

"Yeah, I'm alright...I'm just really clumsy" She gave the equvilant of a shrug with the flick of her tail. "Or so my family says..your family seems nice."

"How about I go with you to that water bowl, huh?" She smiled and helped the pup up, "Yeah, they can be nice. Not all the time though. Sherbert gets irritable. But Dice is pretty well rounded; he just likes to rough house a little too much. What about yours?" Her tail wagged, but she didn't quite realize it.

"My mum can be pretty evil and my dad is much like me I guess... Lucetta likes to tease me and Mercutio is usually pretty quiet and keeps to himself but protects me." She coughed and nodded her head as she wagged her tail. "When I left, everyone was pretty much settled in and just hanging around. I love peaceful times like that."

"I really haven't figured that out yet..." She giggled lightly and wagged her tail. "Heh, I won't have to deal with them soon. When I find a mate, I'll just leave them and make my own family!"
She turned to the kitchen door and sighed, her ears twitched as they reached the door.
"I have a bad feeling about opening this door..."
