They were in the Redite area before Tia realized it. The mage captain at least recognized the area. She had only been in the area once, and that had been enough to keep her away. It only made sense that the haughty blonde was from this area. The way she dressed certainly gave credence to that idea.
Tia immediately stopped in the street as Lenore continued. This wouldn't do. The elf immediately frowned again. Her lame comeback would have to just be something that would mess up the blonde's hair. Namely, the barrel of dirty water that was conveniently on a balcony. Now, all she had to do was magically tip it at the right moment.
The place where Lenore chose to gather her information just happened to be the perfect spot. Tia didn't even care that Lenore was watching the men. Tia didn't know anything about the people in the area anyway. The mage slipped away to go behind a corner and started her spell.

(( razz ))
Shizuru raised an eyebrow. Familiar with the city? What the heck was that man yelling for her to have an escort then? "Chronopolis isn't that small of a city, you know..." she mumbled. The doctor sighed loudly when Cassie asked about being busy. "Yes, I do. Do you have any idea how many more people beat themselves up over alcohol? People just don't think about the aftermath of what they do sometimes, even more so when there parties going on. Oi, you better not get your self so intoxicated that you have to get hauled into my office."

Cassie had to fight the sarcasm out of her voice as well as resist the urge to roll her eyes. "Yes I know. " She responded quietly, looking around at the faces coming in and out of the local bar. She leaned forward and propped her elbow on the wooden table before resting her chin on the palm of her hand - her fingers tapping against her cheek. She chuckled softly. "People will be people I'm afraid." She stated before waving down the server, laughing at the woman's comment. "No worries. My tolerance for alcohol is higher then average." She teased. "Besides I should be cautioning you not to run so hard into people that you knock yourself out." She retorted jokingly. One the server made himself to the table, Cassie requested brandy and looked at Shizuru. "Anything for you?"

((O_o; Wait, where are we right now? I thought we were in the street.))
"Yes, true," the doctor nodded in agreement with Cassie. But Shizuru scoffed at Cassie's comment about her. "Well, it's not everyday that happens..." Shizuru didn't really want anything to dull her senses, but a cup probably wouldn't hurt. "Same as the girl," she said to the server.
"So, what are you doing here? You planning on joining any competitions?" Shizuru asked as they waited for the drinks to arrive.

((Yes, I thought the street as well. So… we changed that then? You’re inside now?))
As the two women moved inside, Lenore had a choice to make. Was it worth her time to tail these two, or should she leave to find more important and intriguing business? She bit her lit a moment in thought, deciding to following the pair. Most important business meetings started with idle chatter like these two were entertaining. The question was, how important the business?
Little did Lenore know, it was lucky she chose to follow them inside, and out from underneath her impending doom via bucket of dirty water.
Inside the bar, the lighting was something like “through a glass, darkly.” The pub itself was probably just as dirty as the skanks who frequented it. Hence, the dim lighting was probably a favor to those who entered the area. This all Lenore knew, and with a glance to the bartender, he nodded her over to a private booth which Lenore always had on reserve not too far from where Cassie and Shizuru.
She ordered an absinthe cocktail to sip on, and bent her ear to the conversation going on not more than a few tables over.

((We'll just work with it.))
And of course, luck was simply not with the white haired mage general today. Tia almost simmered when the dirty water missed Lenore by a hair as the woman went inside the building. This was obviously one of her more childish days. The water splattered against the ground, causing a little reaction from those who had not expected it.
A thought suddenly hit the mage as she hid. The disciples would never think to look in the Redite Street area. Tia despised it, but it could be the only "safe haven" for the day. Hopefully, no one recognized her. She awkwardly and timidly walked into the bar, looking around and easily spotting the blonde lady. The scene was a little overwhelming for one such as Tia, who was not used to some rudimentary conditions. She never ventured too far into the city, and when she did, it was only to the forests and nature.
Unfortunately, short "weak" looking women with painfully obvious pointed ears weren't the best kinds of people to be alone in such a bar. She stood out too in her robes. A man immediately pulled her off to the side. His face was red, and he was drunk.

Electric Kool-Aid Haucon smiled at Aidan again ((he does a lot of smiling and nodding I've noticed...)). "I thought about entering, but there's really nothing I could've entered in. I'm not a bad shot at archery, but my skills are much more practical in nature. I can't hit a target to save my life, but put me in the woods and send a deer in front of me...different story all together." He shrugged. "I never did understand it but, it's helped me out in the past so I'm not complaining." They had nearly reached the sports grounds.
((I'm gonna be gone for the next week or so, sorry guys but I look forward to getting back into this!)) triggerperfect, Aidan smiled to herself. She paused, fiddling with her bracelet a little bit, before saying "The atmosphere is a major influence when it comes to things like that." Sliding the fine chain over her fingers and off her wrist, she continued, "When you're in a forest, everything is peaceful... You can be alone with your thoughts. There is no expectation. No prize, except the rush of the kill. No one is betting on whether you hit or miss, there are no screaming children, no competative stares." Aidan wound the chain between her long fingers. "It's easier to forget about everything and focus of the deer in front of you when it's just you and the forest." With some difficulty, she managed to get the bracelet back on her hand, before looking up at the sky for a moment. "On the other hand, when you're competing, there are so many other things for you to focus on. The sweat rolling down your neck, the other competitors, things like that... I think you lose the connection." Her gaze found its way to his face, before she said, "Your affliction is not so unusual."

"I'm sure." Cassie replied with a smirk to the woman's defense. The young woman leaned back in her seat, her indigo strands falling over her shoulder while the shorter strands swept over her view. "I suppose what everyone is doing here. Watching the festival, enjoying the weather." Cassie grinned at her own lame response. "I just needed to get away from home is all." She lied with a shrug. Her amethyst irises noticed two new 'civilians' entering the bar and felt somewhat strange - or rather paranoid. Shrugging it off, Cassie reminded herself that she was very aware of her surroundings and the people in it. As their orders came, Cassie laughed and shook her head. "No, those events aren't really my thing. I like watching it though, sometimes." She qualified. "What about you Doctor? Planning on participating?" Cassie asked. her irises immediately shot to the white haired woman and the drunken man and scowled angrily.

Alice woke up laying on her porch. She sat up and headed to her usual place, the bar. She hadnt talked to anyone but she decided to today. Her light purple hair hung down to her waist and her dress flowed to the floor. Alice sat next to a group of people who seemed to be discussing something. "Hello." She said in a quiet, very childish voice.

Haucon found that the way the elf moved the bracelet along her skin almost hypnotic and the tone of her voice almost put him in a trance as she explained her reasoning. The spell finally broke and he shrugged a bit. "It could be like that. It makes sense at least. It never really bothered me. I can get food easily, shooting targets doesn't really help you feed your family you know?" he said with an easy smile. They had arrived at the more crowded competition grounds. Haucon thought of reaching out for Aidan's hand to prevent her from getting lost in the crowd but blushed and thought better of it. ((Sorry for the delay. Things have been a little hectic))

Shizuru raised an eyebrow from Cassie's response to why the girl was here. What? Parents scolded her or something? The doctor mused in her head. "No, watching floats my boat better. Besides, it does tell me how some people who come into my office get hurt. And it's somewhat fun to laugh at others," Shizuru remarked. Her eyes followed Cassie's when the younger girl reacted to the drunken man and white haired woman.
The doctor didn't bother doing anything. "Plenty of those today," she said.

triggerperfect, Aidan cut her gaze over at Haucon. She enjoyed the way his soft brown eyes followed the bracelet as it slid smoothly over her hands. "That makes sense. I've never really had to hunt for food, so I had never looked at it that way." As they made their way deeper into the crowd of people, a slight bit of panic flared in Aidan's tiny body. In an instinctual attempt to protect herself, she pulled her injured hand up to her chest, and moved a step closer to her companion. As she did so, the back of her hand brushed the tips of his fingers. She felt his fingers move across her skin one by one. Jumping a little, she moved away again. Not looking at him, she muttered, "I'm sorry. I should pay more attention to where I stand." It was a lame response, but she could not think of a better explanation. The elf's mind seem to stall for several moments, but she wasn't sure whether it was from their brief contact, or the panic she felt in such a large crowd of people.

Haucon shook his head. "Well we didn't really HAVE to hunt for food, but it was always just easier and cheaper to get a couple deer at the start of the season and then cure or salt the rest to have all year." He shrugged, but for some reason wanted to justify that his family wasn't horribly poor.
He felt Aidan's hand brush his and a tiny smile grew inside him, though he was careful not to let it show, and almost immediately, to his dismay Aidan jumped back blathering about standing somewhere. He sighed inwardly and looked at her. "It's no problem, here, this worked before." he said taking her good hand and pulling her along behind him in his wake. He briefly thought of offering for her to ride on his shoulders but thought better of it. It was childish and would probably be humiliating.
