[[Okay. I guess I'll go ahead and put it into play. It's gonna be...cheesy, maybe.]]
Alexis ran into her class with Lily. They slid into their seats of Alchemy Literature. The teacher, Mrs. Evans, flicked her gaze up.
"Sorry we're late," Lily said sincerely.
Matching her tone, Alexis said, "We can make up what we missed! We promise!" The girls pulled out their homework.
Mrs. Evans took the homework and reviewed over it.
"A five-page report on why being to class on time is important," said Mrs. Evans.
Then, the intercom beeped in. The Headmistress's voice registered: "Sorry for this interruption, but it seems we missed something on yesterday's board announcements: the Homecoming Dance will be next week in the arena. Please see the office for further details. Thank you!"

Shana, done with her notes, turned to Alice and then back to her paper. She wrote on the side, "Excited too?"

Shana gently erased the note she wrote before and wrote over it, "I'm not quite sure." (Because I don't even know what it is myself LOLZ) She looked up for a second to make sure the teacher didn't catch them.

Alexis and Lily exchanged glances. Homecoming meant one important thing to them and their friends. No, it wasn't dates. It wasn't dancing.
It was something else entirely.
Sadly, the girls had missed half the class. So, the bell rang 30 minutes after they had entered and they left soon after.

Alice snatched the paper when Shana wasn't looking and wrote " i suddenly have a feeling that im going to be forced into a shopping trip" surprised when Shana looked up Alice looked grim she didnt like shopping her companions would always dress her up like a doll because she so tinny
[[thats the sad bitter truth for me to! but i do it to my smaller friend so i cant judge ;D]]

Shana blinked and slipped the paper away from Alice and read what she wrote. (On good timing surprised ) The bell then rang, and Shana remembered that they had come to class late, so it did make sense. She put the paper in her bag and stood up. "I wouldn't worry about it," Shana said to Alice. She smiled. "Just try telling them that, maybe that would help." She picked up her stuffed cat. "I like getting fancy outfits though..." she mumbled.

Alexis and Lily let out yells of triumph when they exited the literature building.
"I can't believe it!" Alexis exclaimed.
"Hey, girlies," said Ryan, placing his hands on their heads. "Heard the PA?"
"DUH!" Lily shouted.
"We need some practice," Ryan said. Ian nodded.
Tanner stood with his hands in his pockets, a small smile on his face.
"Are you sure we're the ones to do it?" he said. "Terra and all..."
"Uh, no," Alexis said, waving a finger at him. "She is not interfering with this. We already signed up. We already have that spot."

'A homecoming dance? I've never been to a dance before, so I might decide to come,' Suzette thought as she was walking down the hallway. It would also be nice to dress up, Suzette never wore a dress before either. She was wondering what the experience would be like. She spotted Shana and Alice and walked up to them.
"Hi!", she said quietly to them, smiling.

"Hm..." Daisuke was wondering the halls, pondering, "What's homecoming, & why do we have to dance?" He looked around "Where's my next class?" He pondered some more.
