Balthier swung himself into the Strahl on the door, shutting both the door and him inside as the ship went airborne.
"Could have given me that warning a little sooner..." He regained his composure and sat down next to Fran. "Very light on his feet, isn't he?"

Jote peered out the window, her footing getting slowly more steady in the moving airship. She could not see the cloaked being anymore. Closing her eyes, she felt the Mist move around her, humming faintly. She could see... a building? It looked like a large house or mansion..
The next thing she knew, she was in the cockpit.
"He's heading..." she began, pointing in the direction they were flying, "that way."

Aerith stared at the book only to shake her head slowly. "Is that what this is about? Being about to hear the voices?" Aerith asked, her confusion very obvious with her tone. "I can barely even hear them! But I can tell you why you don't hear them," she said slowly figuring that even he would have learned by now the reason. "You're not a Cetra," she said slowly. "Jenova wasn't either."
Terasu stared at the book for a moment only to pick it up quietly. She flipped a few pages into the book, giving a slight sigh. She wanted to inform Sephiroth that the flower girl was indeed correct - Jenova was simply an unidentified life form that the Cetra had branded an enemy of the world - hence why they had sealed her away before the electric comany had found her. Then again - Sephiroth had not seen those videos as she had. "Why not just kill her?" Terasu offered as she snapped the book closed. "Just to make sure she can't pull anything? She was willing to die once, wasn't she?"

-It wasn't too long before they drew near to a building. Fran closed her eyes for a moment-
..the mist...it is strong there....
-She eased the Strahl down and parked it right in front of the mansion.-
..I feel a battle drawing near...
-The faintest of a smirk was on her lips as she a rose from the pilot's seat, grabbing her bow and arrows, heading for the door. It had been a while since she had aimed her arrows at a foe, indeed some good practice was in order.-

"Eager much, Fran?" The words sounded like a joke, but the truth was he, too, had been bored with the slow and easy life the two shared as of late. "Gotta love my toys," he said as he picked up his trusty gun, "they never run out of ammo." He held the gun up next to his face and looked over his shoulder at Jote with a smile.
"Got a weapon or are you going to claw your way through?" He looked at her long finger and toe nails. "Though that might work quite well for you Viera."

Jote smiled faintly, disappearing into the ship for a moment before returning with a long wooden staff.
"Hopefully this is to your liking, Balthier?" she replied softly, her eyes looking slightly more luminous. To tell the truth, she was fairly eager to test her prowess in battle; the life of an Elder made her feel vulnerable.

Terasu looked up as she felt the ground shake somewhat and as different items around the room rattled about for a moment. "I wonder...?" She tilted her head somewhat and glanced towards Sephiroth for a moment. "I'll go see what it was," Terasu said as she started away from the table rather briskly. She paused for a moment near one of the many bookshelves and reached to the top dusty shelf, removing her weapon from the top shelf of it with ease. How long had they tossed it up there? It was so dusty from being uncared for.
Terasu pulled the kodachi from its sheath, and stared at the portion of the blade she had pulled out. To her surprise, the blade was still rather shiney. Without a word, she left the laboratory behind and started up to the first floor, being sure to close the wall behind her to hide the passageway. After, she walked out of the front doors for the first time in a good while. She squinted her eyes somewhat due to the light but stared as best as she cold towards the airship which had no markings on it of any ShinRa company property. Terasu looked around - it seemed like none had exited it yet. She took in a deep breath enjoying the fresh air for a moment as she tucked the kodachi into her sash, ensuring that it would not leave her waist as she waited for the pessengers to exit the airship.

"No, I don't wish to kill her... not yet. she is still use-" He got cut off by what almost seamed a small earthquake.
He nodded to Terasu's comment. "I've got work here anyway, hold them off, I cannot be bothered at any cost," he called back as she left.
"As for you... we will find out soon enough whether your words are true or not. For your sake you best hope you are wrong... extracting your latent powers will just become all the more painful." He replied to Aerith's obvious lies.

Masa gave a wicked smile.
"Do not think you will escape me; I will make sure you stay put by any means necessary if needed." she purred. Her voice had a chilling calm to it, enough to make the hairs on ones arms stand on end.

Jote felt a slight change in the Mist, and hesitated a moment. Usually, a faint change like this usually meant danger.
"Someone is here, Balthier." she whispered softly, just loud enough for Fran to hear as well. "Be careful."

Well, this was not going well. And here she had been thinking when morning came, and she was walking around in the slums she would meet Tifa, or Cloud, or maybe even Zack somehow. No. Instead she was now stuck in some laboratory with a man who was now becoming some crazy scientist? Aerith gave a slight sigh. No materia meant no fighting for her really. And since she had it all in her staff for the time being, which was back at the church - she had no means of fighting at all. She'd rather die then Sephiroth taking what he said he would - no matter what means he was talking about. That was one less thing he needed. 'Where's chocobo head when you need him?' Aerith thought to herself, closing her eyes for the time being. 'Or that Balthier person? Just someone.'
Terasu folded her arms, staring at the airship which was rather small compared to the ones she was used to seeing. Were there even people in it? She strained to look into the ship through the windshield and finally saw the three passengers, two of them having what seemed to be, oddly enough, rabbit ears on their heads, and all three seeming to be armed. Terasu continued to stare in through the windshield, faintly making out that the man held a gun, one of the rabbit girls seemed to have a staff and the other seemed to have arrows which would indicate her being an archer. Two long range weapons and then one of them she would assume indicated a magic user? Yet what she found even more strange was the fact that they seemed to have been expecting a fight with the way they were gathering their weapons from what she could see. Terasu tilted her head as she waited for them to come out.

Kvistor The Guardian "I need to get out of this crazy place," *as he stares at the large iron reenforced steel gate* he begins shouting, " LIONHEART RENZOKUKEN!!!!" The gate falls to the ground in pieces, looking up he sees a large Guardian Force sitting right infront of him ready to take off as he spots Selphie getting onto one of its hands "This is not good," the boy stated. Running at a dead sprint he sees a man in red standing right infront of the creature. "Hey are you nuts that thing could kill you, so get a move on will ya," Squall shouted at the top of his lungs!! He then stopped in his tracks and saw a man unconcious, thus running to the man side he gives him a Pheonix Down. The man starts to stir and Squalll looked back at what look like Bahamut in amazement. "Well i guess im really not needed right now," he states. As Kvistor stirred he noticed that someone was near him, "Who are you?"

Sephiroth began reading out loud from the book he had carried in with him. He was chanting something as he walked around with the book open in one hand, and gathered items off the shelves with the other.
