Vergil looked up with his blush still on his face. "You...really mean that? As in you wouldn't mind dealing with this fox that is rough around the edges. I feel the same way as well."

Karin pulled out another container of fish and set it before him. "Do not eat too fast, else you make yourself sick, but appetite is a good think, and means that you are getting better. It is a good sign." Karin smiled and ate a few more herself before heading to drink some water.
Pumpkin smiled, "Is it so surprising to find that I like you and want you to be nearby? But will it be a problem for you?" she asked, worried. Though Vergil liked his tricks, he was always kind to her and she hoped that he would like to be her mate one day. She blushed, perhaps she was getting ahead of herself.

Vergil shook his head. "It won't be a problem. Just don't mention how nice I can be to others and I'll be ok." He paused. "That's not too much to ask...is it?" The dark fox looked down at the ground a bit embarrassed by how he was already making demands on her.

Pumpkin giggled. "It is a deal, so long as you continue to be nice to me. How does that sound?" she asked, moving closer with a smile on her face as she looked at the fox before her. One that she really did like a lot and hoped that he would stick around for a while.

He ate the second serving of fish slowly, and then sat down. Then, he followed her to the water and when she was finished got some also. He looked over at her, smiling happily. He did not understand why, but she made him happy and he wanted to stay near her. However, he knew she probably had things to be doing, and he could not get over his reluctance to ask her if she needed to leave.

Karin smiled at him and looked at him curiously. "What is going through that mysterious head of yours. You look as if you are worried about something. If you have something you want to ask feel free. I will do my best to answer any and all questions that you have." Karin was pleasant and friendly.

Vergil nodded his head. "It's a deal from me too." He smirked as she came close to him. It was nice to have someone not running from him for once. Most of the time he would terrorize others either by his pranks or by his looks. Hopefully things would turn out interesting although there was a new question on his mind. "Are you the type who would want kits?"

"I was just wondering if you needed to leave," he told her, looking sad. He did not want her to go, he felt attached to her, although he did not understand why. He truly admired her, and knew he wanted to get to know her as much as he could. He first wanted to know if she was single, but he'd never get up the nerve to ask anything that personal a question.

Pumpkin blushed then nodded. "I would like a whole bunch of kids. Having them run around the house would be great fun and you should fit right in playing games with them and helping them with pranks. But then, you may not want kids. I will do as you wish in that regard. Kids can technically be a burden too. I leave the decision to you.
(are we ending this one - can always start one with the family)
Karin shook her head no. "I am free to do as I wish. My time is always volunteered in helping others. But I can easily take a break and besides, I would like to make sure you do not over exert yourself and make your injuries worse. You seem the type not to heed the doctor's wishes, no offense." She gave him a small smile as she said this and stretched.

Then, he laughed and said, "I guess you are pretty good at reading people." He was still trying to figure out a way to discover whether or not she was single, but then he decided just to let things go at their own pace-maybe he could find out without asking her.

Vergil shook his head. "No...they are great little minions..erhm...I mean treasures to enjoy." He was joking a bit just to add to his looks. "Whatever makes you happy is good enough for me." And with that Vergil got up to shut the door. Then went back to Pumpkin before laying down beside her to give them some alone time since he didn't want anyone disturbing them. Plus it would be a bit romantic for his sense.
(I'll just end it here then. I hope it doesn't sound too awkward.)

"I would love to have a tour now, I feel much better after getting some food in my system." he told her, grinning. He followed her to the doors, and out into the yards and he gasped. "I could not tell how beautiful it was here when I was in pain and in a daze. It really is amazing here." He looked over at him, happy and smiling in this environment. He was not used to it yet, but he was already beginning to love it.
