"I could use a sword to make it a little more even, if you'd like."
Valter watched Ed stretch out in her chair, suddenly aware of how uncomfortable his own chair had gotten from sitting so long. He stood, walked around for a few seconds, then sat down again.
"We need more comfortable chairs..." Valter mumbled.

"What? Fire Dragon felt as if his blood was boiling from his very own Flametongue. "This will not do. I'll admit that I trusted him a little more after we went to get supplies, but this proves it. That jerk is not to be trusted. I agree with you completely, Kaoru. He must be guilty. I'm just sorry I couldn't be there... although that might have been for the best if I would have become a zombie." Fire Dragon retorted out of newly found anger against Siegell.

"Nahh, it's up to you."
She watched as Valter gave his own body a break from the chair, then cocked her head.
"Yeah, we do. Say... How about we not even use chairs?" The girl jumped out of her own. "We might as well use our legs while we still have them. Let's join the others in the dance room, if only to hang around, you know? I feel a little left out not being in there."
She held a hand out to the wyvern knight, an offer to help him up and join her in the dance room.
"I'd like to see who wins that contest of theirs in person." Mischief glinted in her wild eyes.

"Mmmmiya heeee, mmmmmiya hoh! Mmmmiya hawwww, mmmmiya HA-h--" Siegell blinked as Kishuna approached him, and he swung himself over the edge of the karaoke booth, bringing himself face-to-face with the morph. He narrowed his eyes slowly. "Sexy? Yes. Long as I've got the mask on," he admitted, smirking. He brought his fingers up, slipping them through his auburn hair and tousling it a bit, and then he grinned and removed his porcelain mask, revealing the horrific scars that crossed the left half of his face. His skin seemed to be pulled taut up toward the temple, most of the left half of his nose was missing, and deep furrows were drawn in his cheek, all the way back into his hair. "But even with the mask off, I think I can take you. "What exactly do you have in mind, sub-human?" Morphs, Siegell felt, were no better than laguz.

Nils rested his hand on the Fire Dragon's shoulder. "Hikaru... calm down. It's alright. Right now, we need to be calm. We're hosts, remember?" A sad smile came to his face.
"I really want to punch Siegell's face in for this, despite the fact that I physically can't. But right now, I'm pushing that anger aside. I'm sorry that I had to tell you about that now, instead of earlier or even later... But what matters more than anything else is the peace of this party. We can't go starting a fight because of this."
"At least, not now." He mentally added.

"Rei, I believe you should announce this competition. Siegell vs Kishuna. This will be good. Does someone have a video camera to tape this?"

The grin on Kishuna's face slid into a condescending smirk. "Sub-human? Well, well. Seems someone here has a bit of an attitude problem. I think I'm going to have to fix that." The morph's eyes slid across the room, looking over the people, then moved back to the booth in which Rei sat. "Hmm, since we've already got this all set up, and the boy there seems eager to keep going, why don't we face off right here? A music battle; poise and voice and originality. Winner will be decided by popular vote. . . or, perhaps we should appoint a judge." he paused for a moment, then gestured towards Siegell's face. "But you may want to put that mask back on. I don't wan to have any more of an advantage than I already do."

"Alright. If that's the case, I think I'll stick with my lance."
When Ed suggested joining the others, Valter simply replied "Sounds like a good idea to me."
He was a bit suprised when she offered him her hand, but he took it anyways and followed her in.

Fire Dragon tried to regain his composure. "Right, we're hosts." He said in a calmer, albeit rushed voice. "Let's just try to avoid him for now, I suppose."

When Ed opened the door, the first thing she noticed was a newcomer.
He smelled of morph.
Ed shook her head — was it an aftereffect of being in wolf form for so long? — and went to the wall. "Looks like there's a new competition going on. I hadn't realized... Well, this ought to be interesting."
She glanced over at Valter. It soon occurred to the girl that...she rather liked the guy.
Now, that's not right. It's just because of the party. He's an ally, and that's the most of it.
Ed shrugged it off and watched the dance floor.

Ninian took a deep breath to calm herself, wiping her tears away with her scarf. She stood, not remembering sinking to the floor. She took another deep breath.
I should go and apologize to Nils for running off like that. That was terribly rude of me to do, she thought.
She walked back down the corridor and reentered the library, sparing a quick glace towards Siegell. The quick glanced turned into a double-take when she stopped to take a closer look at the Wyvern Lord. He had removed his mask.
Ninian gasped involuntarily when she saw how badly scarred his face was. And yet, even though her whole body froze, she couldn't make herself be afraid of him.
What happened to him that caused those scars? she wondered. I know I should not trust him after what he did to Nils, but . . . I only feel bad for him. I know he can't be all bad. I know there's some good in him. I wonder . . . if anyone could help him to be . . . well, not good again, but . . . better. A better person.
She stood just inside once more, watching Siegell as the challenge between the Wyvern Lord and a person she didn't know ensued.

Siegell raised his twisted left brow and slapped his mask down on the DJ booth, narrowing his eyes at Kishuna (though it was hard to tell when he narrowed the left one). "I'll destroy you so badly, your quintessence will drain out your eyes," Siegell growled. "Name your poison," he added, crossing his arms. Siegell loved a challenge, but hated anybody as cocky as he himself was.

...what is this? A look of despair appeared in the Druid's eyes as the pair seemed to agree on a challenge or something like that. He stuck his head out of the closest window to the two, and started shouting. "Oh, hey! This looks good! Both of you, to the dance floor, right now!" Rei spun around in the chair, wondering what he should do now. He reached for the microphone to call out to the crowd. "All right! These two are going to have a dance-off or something! Everyone come watch, winner is popular vote." His voice trailed off, thinking of what to continue with.
"That means get over here now, or there'll be more Rick Astley! Let's go, chop chop! Ladies get front row seats, and the first one to get up here get's to see it from here with me~! <3 First song whenever you two are ready."

"Oh? You didn't hear me the first time?" The morph spread his arms, moving over to where Rei was indicating. "Well, I hope your dancing is better than your hearing, though from the last performance it doesn't look like it." After a moment, the morph looked up at the shaman with a chuckle. "Well, hey, you up there. You want to pick something, or should I? I mean, if you're going to do something like you did earlier, no doubt you'd be better at picking than me."

Nils nodded slowly at Fire Dragon. "Let's... I really don't want to deal with him at the moment."
---
Alihi raised an eyebrow. A dance-off? "When I said anything could happen, I didn't think it'd be a dance-off..." She murmured.
Hearing Rei-- Zelos' threat, a chill ran down her spine. Or maybe that was from the "prize" for being the first one up where the dance-off was.
Netherless, she turned to Abel. "Should we move?" She asked him softly.
