Mara smiled, "Cooro has, after a good few years allowed me to enter his room from time to time, It's nothing special I assure you." Mara laughed. "But it sure seemed amazing for years, the thing I desired most. And this room here is mine." Mara said pushing open the door at the end of the hall. Inside there was a bed against the wall. There was a window open for the light to shine in. There was a cushion in the window box where one could sit and read one of the books that lined one of the walls. The room was neat and very tidy. She had artifacts she had collected over time, and a couple shelves of music, all kinds included from many different times. The room was brightly decorated, it went with the house, but had a more cheerful feeling to it.

"I think that after a certain number of years, immortals simply become neat freaks about certain places." He said with a laugh. Zack looked at Mara's room. "Wow. Nice room! Interesting choice of colors." He said as he looked around. "And it looks a h*** of a lot neater than my room. I'm glad I didn't show you that... its a sty. But your room is nice." He said to her. "I guess I'm still sorting myself out inside... you've probably had a lot more years than I've had to do that."

"Yes, I have, but once you have that sorted out then the rest of things will come a lot easier. Thank you for your compliments." she said looking around the room adoringly. "I have spent a good many years here under different names. It's really become home." She told him. "So then are you still hungry?" she asked turning to face him, "We do keep food here."

"Yeah... I guess I'm a little hungry." Zack said. "If it isn't too much trouble." He smiled at Mara. "Thanks for the consideration. You are a very nice person. Especially to someone like me. I am... or was just a human, after all." He smiled at her, genuinely appreciative.

"It is no problem, really." Mara said smiling as she took his hand and led him down the hall and down the stairs to the kitchen. "Um, I could make you eggs." Mara offered as she looked though the fridge. She stepped back form the fridge for a moment. "You know, actually, you are quite lucky, and you were quite lucky. Mortality is an amazing thing." Mara said softly as she stared at the open fridge. "There are very little problems with it. You can feel emotions differently, more sincerely. I miss that more than anything." Mara said bowing her head. She looked up at Zack, "Forgive me, I am merely speaking my thoughts."

"Sure, I like eggs." He said with a shrug. "I guess having mortality is alright... I am technically still human, even if I can become something else when I want to, but... I guess you don't know what you have until you have an outside perspective." He said to Mara. "But again, I thank you. Most vampires wouldn't think to well of me because I'm human."

"What you are is amazing." Mara told him as turned back to the fridge. "Eggs it is then." She said smiling as she grabbed a couple eggs. "How much eggs do you eat? How do you like them?" Mara asked as she turned to look at him again. She was thinking though her faded memories of humanity. She was attracted to Zack, he was a bright, sweet lovable person, but around him she felt human again, she felt like herself, the way that she remembered herself back in the faded pictures of her memory.

Mara smiled as she cracked the eggs over a warm pan. I am glad that they comfort you." She said truthfully. "And I think you too for comforting me, just your presence is soothing."

"Wow... really?" He asked. "Thats good to hear." Zack blushed and looked at one of the closed windows. "Earlier I thought that I might have been being irritating. I didn't want to feel like I was prying." He said.

Eve felt the pang of heat on her sensitive skin. The sky above her was now pied in radiant colors. She recalled the elder's last words; Yes, the routine is indeed becoming annoying. D*** the sun. Her aureate eyes now narrowed in discomfort. She shot a displeasured look at Vincent. "Unless you intend to burn, I suggest you find shelter. And to you Sairen..." Eve approached her Naga counterpart "...I do enjoy your company, but you know our kind do not fare so well during daylight." With that, Eve took to a back alley, clinging to it's last shadows. She would return home soon.
Adelle scowled under the sun's rays; their orange glow now peering through the open window. "Oui Monsieur, I do need protection from the sun. Unlike you elder Nosferatu, it's light still pains me." she gave the bright gleam one last glance, till her eyes began to tear. She buried her head in Cooro's chest; an instinctual maneuver.
Somni grumbled, an obscene gleam catching his face through the glass. He trudged to the window, quickly pulling thick black curtains together, before taking to the kitchen. The cold, pure water felt good on his lips as he put a glass to his mouth. Running hands through his thick ebony hair, Somni sighed, still inclined to the thought of Ollie.

Cooro hugged Adelle to him. "Yes my dear, we will get you to my home as fast as we can, you can't stay here, there is too much light." Cooro went to a closet he had set up in his office and grabbed from it a long thick coat. "Do you think this will suffice until I can get you to my home?"

Vincent looked up and saw the sun, for the past few months it had been hurtful to him, he didn't burn but as it washed over him he felt the most horrible migraine, and this nauseating feeling as if every organ in his body was churning.
"The sun is more intent on making me miserable then actually killing me" He weakly smiled already feeling faint. "Regardless of my allergy to it I must be going, I have a meeting with someone, I somehow feel as if I'm late though their not expecting me."
As the strange hooded man and the woman with sad eyes left he somehow felt a strong connection, but yet something seemed different from him to them, at least as he viewed it.
He didn't worry so much as where they were going, or if he'd meet them again, he just knew he would.
Ever since Helen died he had felt so alone even with family, but despite the shock of this encounter it all felt so right, like he had finally come home, though he wondered if he would be received with open arms...
