Just checking in to see how everyone's doing...
Nopen, is your morning (noon and night) sickness any better?
I wonder how many pregnant ladies we still have around here? I know we've had some ladies who've had their babies recently. Yay! biggrin
I'm doing pretty well still. I'm mostly just starting to stress about being a mommy. I was really excited at first and now I'm really nervous. sweatdrop

I'm not as sick ALL day. I've been able to get some of my lunch/dinner appetite back. The first hour/two hours in the morning is really crucial for how I feel all day. Sometimes though I still have a really bad day, usually just right after I've had a good day and am thinking that "YAY I have this undercontrol!"
I think I may be trading heartburn for nausea but that's okay by me, I have smooth dissolve tums to take care of that. lol

Nopen, I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little better. Hoepfully the heartburn won't get too bad. I've managed to escape heartburn so far. My main problems have been some indigestion that is mostly gone now and hemorrhoids that flared up after the lovely 12-hour trip (each way) we took to Tennessee. TMI, I know... xp

Definitely! You've got to get over any squeamishness is you're gonna spend much time around a pregnant woman, especially if you're gonna be there for the actual birth. Between being in the GPG and reading the pregnancy boards over on WebMD, it's nice to have people going through the same type stuff and not minding talking about it.

End of the first trimester for me and CultureSpy. Its so amazing. Just starting to really feel pregnant, especially since I've been so amazingly lucky and missed all the normal first trimester yuckies. I'm starting to outgrow my jeans now, wondering how long it's going to be until I have to buy maternity clothes, and thinking about how amazing it is that there's a little person in there, waiting to come out.
My partner's all cute about it, watching me begin to look pregnant, wishing he could feel what I'm feeling and getting more excited all the time. I can't wait until he can hear and feel the baby, just to keep him from asking me everytime he sees me if I've felt anything new yet and how I'm doing. smile
Congrats to all who are still pregnant, and especially to those who've given birth. I can't wait to be among that latter category, holding this amazing little one.

My little Angel to be.... Coming soon Nov... 16th 2005.... His face: A little foot: Just thought I would post my sono pics... I have been really sick too... Heartburn and all. Plus I found out my blood pressure is way up, so now I have to go on meds, and visit the doctors weekly. I am 21 weeks today, and it looks like we are having another boy. To top it off i have gained 20 pounds... cry I dont understand how I am gaining so much, as sick as I have been. Two more pounds and I will weigh as much as I did when I delivered my last baby. So it does not look good for me weight gain wise.

Update...
I have to go see some High risk Obstetric Doctors, on thursday...They are going to do some additional testing on baby, and they are going to be looking into making sure I am not having issues with my heart. Due to my high blood pressure, and fact that I had a bad reaction to the last meds they put me on. Also, Since I have had Hypertension with my last four pregnancies, and the fact that each time I have it sooner. My doctor said he would team up with them thru the rest of the pregnancy and try to take it as far as possible. They will help him determine when it will be best to deliver me. I only hope to make it far enough that the baby will be ok... sad
I hope everything goes well from here... I just got prescribed new meds. today and I am supposed to start them tomorrow.

Congrats Kristall!
Luna, I'm doing well. I had my GD test a couple of weeks ago and all was well. My iron levels were a little on the low side so I'm having to take a supplement, but that's not terrible. It does give me the burps and leaves a terrible taste in my mouth, but at least it's nothing worse.

Kristall, lots of cravings are actually related to a lack of something in your diet. I think the most interesting thing is that here in the US (you might know, you lived here right?) is that WIC when they give a pregnant woman checks for food items they have like 11 gallons of milk per MONTH on there. I asked about it, and she said "That's how much dairy we expect you to get, you're growing a whole other person with their own personal bones." I too crave icecream when I'm pregnant especially soft serve. Just talking about it is giving me the craving for a banana split blizzard.
AND about your headaches, you might want to give in a little later, I NEVER got migranes before I was pregnant barely even got little headaches, but the progesterone in your body loosens up ALL your ligaments not just your hips and pelvis so all the ligments in your face and sinuses all loosen up too and can cause KILLER headaches. I used to have to take some tylenol turn off all the lights the air conditioning, EVERYTHING and curled up in a little ball on my bed. I'm just letting you know if you're getting them they COULD get worse. My body didn't deal with Progesterone well...I sprained ankles, and got tennis elbow, and EXCRUCIATING round ligament pain, sciatica, and migranes. Know that if you REALLY need to, you can take tylenol products. I'm doing A LOT better this go around with the ligament pain.
