From my strong hold on the link I could feel her thoughts like a blow to the face, "Well it's not exactly my fault I didn't reveal myself.....So...do you remember Scotts too?" I followed her every movement with my eyes, they held an almost still light, calculating, like frozen fire. Was she truely back? Could I lay my heart out to her without her turning away?

"Yes I do and I nevershoud have let you fight that battle.I'm sorry Drako but my city calls me to protect her.I had to move on!The old scarlet is gone.She died when you did."
Scarlet picked up the sythe and started polishedng it for the upcoming battle that was to take place soon.They really needed to meet up with Ezri.She was frantic to tell them someing importaint.

I ran my finger across the edge of my gauntlet's blade, "I never died....and I am still here." I murmered under my breathe, watching a small drop of blood slide down my finger, my eyes now held a sad, somber dull flicker, like a dieing fire, ready to break at the smallet breaze. My heart was heavy with sadness, mabey I would never hold her again after all....

It hurt to tell him that but she couldn't risk him any more.She was afraid to tell him that he now held a very dark power and that it could even change his attitude on things now.She was going to have to be very careful.Sometimes people go mad with hunger for power and Drako could be one of them.She sighed
"Drako,you are not the same any more and you better wise up to it because you might not live up to it expections."

I looked up at her, my ees flickered near emotionless, "I have dealt with much change....I can take whatever is dealt to me." Martyr. That seemed to be what I had become, taking pain for others, but why must it hurt so? I was a human, I was a vampire hunter, I was a vampire, I was a summoner, I was a deathbringer, I was a human again, I was a vampire again, I was....a fiansai. But was I still? That was left to be found out.

With that she pulled the hood over her face and walked out into the winter air.It was going to be sometime before they could start their life over again.

I grabbed the rest of my gear and went out the door, heading the opposite direction of Scarlet, I couldn't confront her now. Not now. Mabey I could never confront her about these problems safely. Memories I had craved where now tormenting me with their sweet lament. I trudged through the deep snow of the city streets, this was a corrupt husk of a world compared to the purity of the ways of lives of old, the wild places of the world where dieing, there was more murder than ever, crime rings, drugs, and worst of all. The government. Or more as it should be called, the dictatorship. I kicked at a forming pile of snow as I kept walking through a park, anture should not have to have such small area to roam, it shouldn't be kept in 'pockets' wherever it was handy. Did they even have druids anymore? Was there even anyone to confer with nature? All these thoughts became an idea that struck me, if Scarlet protected the city...I would protect nature. I ran off through the snow towards my cave, un-aware of the targeted gun aimed at my back.

A shadowy figure was watching Drako with intrest.
"Yesss...He will do very nissly!Its all fallsss into asstion.Very ssssoon my boy you will know your true heritage."
The figure slid out of view jsut as Drako looked over his shoulder at the though of something watching him but he shrugged it off thinking it was nothing.
Meanwhile,Scarlet had gone to the library to do some research on family history.What she found shocked her to the core.He never spoke of this.She closed the book with a thud getting the attention of a few people who gave her dirty looks in which she returned.
Drako's Father was a brillient scientest that had created a time devise that could potentually take travelers to and from certain points in time.Unfortuanly Dr.Swiftblade's labratory exploded before it was even given a test try.THe good Doctor disapeared in that fire as did a young man ,at least 20.No one knows if it was the doctors son or an apprentence.
While the paper indicated that becasue many believed in vampires back then assumed that the boy was one of them.There were no bodies to bring forth any such evidence.
Scarelt mumbled under her breath" Now I feel bad that I ticked off Drako but how can I love someone that I assumed was dead for 2 hundered some years?It's just not the same as it was before.I also know that thee were others that they had sorta lived with.What happended to them?"
She sighed.There were too many questions that had no answers.
"What is wrong with me?What is going on?"

I kept walking through the city, and into the forest. I cut straight through the bulk of it and to the begginings of the mountains. Somewhere around the area was the ancient stronghold of the druids. An ancient order of magi that devoted their lives to nature, eventualy earning control over its forces to be used in protection, along with power of its forces and creatures druids learned to transform into animals. For two hundred years they had been gone, disappeared along with mens connection to its surroundings. It was my goal to find proof the druids where still around, mabey there was hope for the wild places of the world.

THe corruption of the city was getting to Scarlet.IT was at the point that she wanted to murder every sinister person in this world and let them have a taist of real evil but everytime she thought like that she mentaly kicked herself.THat was how her father was.She made a vow to never become like him and yet here she was wiht his thoughts in her mind.God she wanted it to end but her life was a lonly husk of what it use to be.She just wanted to end her life but she couldn't do it.Maybe she could get Drako to take pity and end it for her.
She knew that he won't do it wut at least she could try to ask him.She set out to find him.

The purity of nature gave me a peaceful mood. I walked slowly through the deepest part of the woods, at the base of the mountains. I climbed through the brush and came to a clearing. My brow furrowed, this was supposed to be where the druids stronghold was...but all that was in the clearing where a few red wood trees. I walked up to the nearest one and placed my palm on its giant, living trunk. I closed my eyes to rest a second against the tree, and felt a warmness from inside the tree. Perplexed, I tried to focus my thoughts on it, as I tried the warmness fleeted away, I could feel it as though from a distance. I opened my eyes and pulled back my hand, when I did I jumped, starring me in the face was an elf. Her feral features and long pointed ears seemed to fit perfectly in with her surroundings but held a superior air. I bowed with the most honorable bow I could think of, the bow of my house consisted of placing one fist over the heart, twisting it, kneeling down and placing the other fist to the ground. At her nod I stood back up, "Grettings, I am Drako Swiftblade, of the Swiftblade family. I have come in search of the druids." A sparkle lit behind her eyes, "We know." She outstretched a hand and bid me to follow. We walked up a staircase that seemed a natural formation of the trees roots and limbs and into the ancient home of the druids.

I run down the alley way that was my home. No one knew me, and I hoped that it would stay that way. Vincent had a way, of making people suspicious that you were of something unhuman, which I was, but no matter. So I did what I could to stay low-profile, except now, I was dealing with a couple boneheads bent on mugging me. "Come back here!" I keep running, staying out of their reach. I was dog tired too. I spot an opening into a shop, and take it. I close the door, and look around. There were people, but not like I had seen before. These were, well not human! I sit in a chair next to the door, and tremble. I was pale hearted, and these people, looked at me, differently than normal people. They all go about their business, as I check outside. I come back in, and talk to the shop clerk, who asks me who I was. I don't tell him, instead, I ask him where I could eat. He points into the back, and I go in. I sit there, eating as much as I could.
After eating I skip, without paying, and find a nice place to settle in for the night. I knew who they were, and wanted nothing to do with them. Nuh-uh. Nope, I was already wanted by the government, for thievery, I wasn't going to get reined in for being with the wrong crowd too!

Scarlet walked the grim streets now lined with the unrulily and those that come out after dark.She was walking through one of the grim allys when two demons approched her and bowed before her kneeling on the ground infront of her.
"Oh COME ON!Scotts! I know that you can hear me and I am not happy!"
She heard a light laugh in her mind.

I hear the shouting, and let an eye pop open. People just couldn't be quiet and let those who have fallen be happy. I slowly get up, check for the boneheads, and head to see who was shouting. A women of great stature stood before to odd looking creatures, amused, I started chuckling. She hears me, and I duck into the shadows. I may not know this city well, but I knew it's inhabitants were foul at times, and I had neither the strength or weapons to fight them. Once she is interested in the creatures again, I chance another peak.

Scarlet was truly not amused and told the demons off multible times before she threatedned them in which they left.She had noticed a young man watching her and took no notice until the demons were gone.She was curious?He didn't seem like a threat but yet she wanted to know what he was doing there.She vanashed into the darkness and reapeared behind him and and answered "Hi! I'm scarlet and who might you be?"
This actually startled the young man.
