I like brawl best. I never cared much for the physics feel of melee. And the characters seemed less balanced. Kirby sucked in that game =(. Errrr... poor choice of words. He wasn't very good in melee. I take Smash balls off too. I keep some of the others on tho like hammers and stars. Stars don't seem to do too much in terms of play. And it can be fun to attack people that have hammers with long distance attacks, or right after dieing since you have invincibility for a few seconds.

To me, Melee feels tighter, which is better for competitive play, while Brawl feels much more natural. Except for the fact that you can jump, like... crazy high. But hey, they could do that in their own games anyways. (Link with Roc's feather or that cape thing. He can jump bitches.)

They make you freaking invincible! For a fair fight, all items must be turned off, and arguably, some stages cannot be used.

Well, you have to be able to dodge if your opponent has the star. Some items though, are just ******** cheap. At least with the star, they don't have an offensive advantage. Just perfect defense.

dragn is right. Players with stars are generally fairly easy to dodge. And the effect doesn't even last very long. And It seems to me that they rarely show up.

Hell, even hammers seem easier to dodge now. Also, it's hilarious when the head falls off ^.^ That's a bit unfair though. Since the guy with the stick really isn't able to do much. More or less ********.
