Kanna let out a sigh when Alex was gone. She continued to climb the mountain.

Everyone in the village went in doors at the sight of Vincent except the foreign aristocrats who greeted Vincent. The villagers had paintings of Vincent's terror over the land and they new who had come back. Vincent walked over to a group of foreign nobles, "Good Evening, I am Lord Vampain thank you for coming to my beautiful land." The nobles shook hands with Vincent and greeted him. A carriage showed up and the nobles hopped in, the driver smiled, "On to Castle Vampain!" As soon as the carriage left Vincent sneered at the villagers hidden behind doors with crosses hung on them.

Once Kanna had made sure the stone was alright, she descended from the mountain. She was racing through the woods.

Vincent smelled Kanna's scent, "Perfect." Vincent turned into a swarm of bats and headed for Kanna.

Kanna sensed a powerful vampire coming towards her. She stopped, knowing who it was. "What do you want." She asked in a not-so-mean tone.

Vincent flew around her as bats and a voice came out of the swarm, "Nothing you have helped me enough by checking on that stone I can now track down your scent there and find any footprints leading to it. So I must thank you my good friend for leading me to the stone." Vincent flew off in the direction of the stone but was moving at a slow pace so he could pick up her old scent.

Kanna hissed. She chased after him and was in front of him with her hand on her sword. "I'm sorry, old friend, but I can not allow you to have the stone." She said.

A voice echoed from the bats, "Hahaha well then slice away at the giant swarm of bats and maybe you might knock me into my normal form. Otherwise......... Radu...... Vlad....... fight her but don't kill her..... ah I doubt you could kill her anyway even if you two tried." The two jumped from the trees they had been following Vincent. Vincent then kept flying toward the stone while the other two tried to hold Kanna off.

"Heh. You underestamate me." She said. Kanna drew her sword and said a spell over it. A black and red light sprang from it and engulfed the two vampiures. "Until my spell wears off, you two are powerless and can't move. Literally." She said. "The only way for the spell to break before it has worn off by itself is for me to undo the spell." She then raced after Vincent again. She said a spell that put up a barrier in front of Vincent. What ever touched it immediately burst into flames. She then got in front of him.

"If you want the stone, you'll have to fight me." She said. She didn't want to fight her friend, but didn't have a choice if he was after the stone.

Out of the bats Vincent appeared, "Really, would you fight your own friend? Would you kill that which offers you no harm at all?" Vincent laughed, "I knew those two idiots wouldn't stand a chance but at least I know where the stone is and I will have it soon enough."

"I don't want to fight you, but if you keep trying to get the stone, I'll have no choice but to fight you...." She said. Just then a rain drop landed in front of her. She looked up. She hadn't noticed rain clouds rolling in. It started to down pore. Then she looked back at Vincent. "Stop going after the stone." She said one last time.

Vincent smiled, "I know exactly how to find it even if I go I can easily come back when you are not here." Vincent sat down on a rock, "Fine then..... another time and I will retrieve it." Vincent turned into a flock of bats and flew towards his castle. Radu and Vlad ran towards Castle Vampain.

At the castle Vincent sat down in his chair and though out his next move. Suddenly the castle doors busted open and vampire hunters walked in, "We're not crashing the party are we?" Radu ran upstairs to Vincent's room but was shot in the back with a silver arrow blessed in holy water. Vincent sat unaware of what was going on, the party of vampires downstairs were being slaughtered.
