Mirage glanced at Sorin. "If nothing is happening as of now, except for alot of talk, what's the point? We can guess all we'd like on what could happen next. It'll get us no where until something does happen. If anything happens. So yes drop it for the time being..."
Arron nodded. "Sounds logical for now.."

Sorin snorted and stalked away muttering something under his breath about vampires...
"And what about your brother?" Korai asked after Sorin had left.

As much as it hurts, what good am I too him if I'm dead? She asked him softly.

Don't worry, we'll find him, he told her, steady confidence in his tone. And he would. He would train harder and learn how to fight the vampiress...he could do anything once he set his mind to it.

Mirage smiled and would have kissed his cheek but refrained. If anything of the vampire's blood remained, she wasn't about to taint him with it too.

"Provided Sorin hasn't opened his big mouth yet..." Arron piped up but agreed. Dawn was to come soon...
Mirage smiled. "I'll see you guys later..." She smiled and darted off, anxious to get into that hot bath!

Part 5
*****A few nights later*****
Korai trained hard, honing his Carpathian abilities under the guidance of his father and mastering waterbending with the help of his grandmother. This night he had already trained with his brothers working with the very elements of nature itself and while the others enjoyed their break, he made his way down to the riverbank intending on on getting in some bending practice before the night was out.

Mirage had just finished helping Ris out with collecting herbs and was now covered in their scents. She was taking a relaxing bath in the river, washing away most of the confusing scents. some remained like honeysuckle and jasmine.

Korai paused at the edge of the water hearing the soft sound of splashing just up river. His eyes followed the sound and widened slightly upon discovering the source. A beauty bathed in moonlight. The sight was enough to once again stir those unfamiliar feelings that had been overwhelming him of late...

Mirage started scrubbing her face with a home made facial cleansing scrub, ridding it of grime and anything else. She even used it for her own body and ran clean water to cleanse the scrub, smiling as she felt how smooth her skin was....She let her thoughts drift a bit on the boys...
Sorin seemed scared of her lately...like he wasn't sure what to accept now, not that she blamed him. Korai was understanding and caring despite what transpired and that made her smile. As far as she knew, Irvine knew nothing of what his brothers had been up to and Arron was as sweet as ever....

Korai turned his head. This wasn't like him. These vivid feelings, the wild urges...no, he was self-discipline personified and he would not allow them to control him. He was edging back from the water silently with every intention of finding another spot to practice when one of his hooves snapped a branch lying on the ground.

Mirage squeaked and hid herself beneath the water before peeking over her shoulder. Vampire eyes were nice to have in the evening since she could see Korai clearly. She felt her face flush before she slapped water at him.
"Korai!" She squeaked, still not moving from beneath the water.

"My apologies," he said with a slight bow, an attempted to hide the smile that curled his lips. He couldn't help it, despite the impropriety of the situation, she was cute when she was angry. "I did not think anyone would be out here."
