Experience. The words that Aya spoke to Hanabira were full of experience and skill in social relations. As Hanabira's olive eyes were forced to look into the deep ocean blue of the chunin's, the genin found herself looking into the eyes of a determined soul. Hanabira had decline taking Aya as a sensei when she became a genin. Why was Aya still giving her such good advice? She did want to be Kazuma's friend and really did believe he didn't mean to do harm to others in this way. It was suppose to be innocent pranks, but they always seemed to go out of control. Hanabira had spent much time studying others, but Aya was right. She had a weak heart and tried to agree with what everyone said. She wanted to stand up to Tanu, but she didn't want Tanu to be upset with her. She had agreed with what Kazuma was saying about Tanu at the shoreline, but she couldn't come to agree to such hurtful things to her squadmate's face. "Mm," Hanabira nodded her head in thanks as Aya said that she had confidence in the little freckle face girl. Hanabira lifted up her head to watch Aya walk home. "Kane-nii... Aya-sempai is a very good person," Hanabira nearly whispered, reaching up to grab the necklace around her neck. The soft-spoken genin hoped to be like Aya some day and with that thought, smiled. "Kane-nii, I will be home soon. There is something I must do," Hanabira said, bowing towards her brother respectfully before dashing off in the direction that Kazuma and Rokugi had gone off in. 'He had gone this way right? Where did he go to?' Hanabira asked herself as she tried to look off into the darkness of the night to find Kazuma.

 Now that Tanu had been dealt with and now almost everybody was cleared out, Kane allowed himself to lean against the charred foundations of the building, and ran his fingers through his hair again. It was speckled with black ash, as was his entire face, making him resemble someone from 101 Dalmatians. As he cleaned himself off the best he could, wiping his face with his hands and touselling out his straw blonde hair, he tried to figure out his feelings. Somehow he'd come out of the whole situation feeling like he'd failed somewhere, but he didn't know where. Hanabira was obviously safe, so that was good. Kazuma had acted differently from when he'd met him on the mainland and it was clear that he'd never had good experiences in Shimagakure, which sobered Kane. It was at this point that Hanabira came over to Kane. She seemed to have finished salvaging what could be saved from Tanu's apartment, and her expression and empty hands made it clear that although she'd tried, she couldn't find anything.
"It's all right," he said, abruptly pulling Hana into a quick, tight hug. The warmth of her body contrasted heavily against the cool spring night breeze and only served to remind Kane of how easily he could have lost her just now. And now he had to take her out on missions. God, how would he do that. "I forgive you, Hana-chan," he said softly, heavily. He watched as Aya called Hanabira over, wondering what the blue-haired girl would say to his sister, but at the same time having clear suspicions as to what advice Aya had to give. When Aya left, he raised a hand to wave her goodbye and then turned to Hana, who had a rare expression Kane couldn't quite read on her face, before it morphed into a contented smile. Kane knew of Hana's admiration for Aya and therefore wasn't too surprised when she mentioned just how good Aya was, although he wondered why she mentioned it now. He had to admit that this incident really changed his perception of the girl though, and he softly agreed with Hanabira, a soft laugh bubbling from his throat, "Yes... yes she is." It seemed that Hanabira was the only one in Shimagakure that Kazuma reacted positively to, and so when she left Kane knew immediately where she was going. He had confidence that even with Kazuma, Hanabira would not get herself into any more trouble and turned away to Kanami, giving her a small tight smile. Now that everybody was gone, he could talk with her a little bit. It was his first time seeing her after all and it would be rude to walk away without at least introducing himself and finding out her name.
While this was going on Kane's heart was boiling away in inner turmoil, coming to grips with the fact that he was responsible for his sister's safety in more ways than ever. He didn't know if he was thankful or terrified of the fact that he was her squad leader. If somebody else had been her leader, Kane would have been distanced from the dangers she would inevitably be put in. The other leader would be given direct responsibility of making sure Hanabira stayed safe. But now the responsibility fell to him... Again, Kane ran his fingers through his hair, unable or just unwilling to mask the emotions running across his face. The responsibility given to him to protect Hana was huge, important, and in some ways, he supposed... perhaps quite natural.

Kanami just decided to look on during most of the events. Not that she was bashful or didn’t have anything to say. Just that her Hyuuga instinct had kicked to just watch carefully everyone and their interactions before making any sort of reply. When the little red headed girl started screaming at her, the diva did not get offended or paid the girl much mind. After all two years… no scratch that a few hours with Shisei proved that once you could deal with him, you could put up with any misbehaved youth. Besides if the little cherry stained Kun Kumo really wanted to go on it Kanami could have performed one of her secret techniques. 1000 Years of Death or Whirlpool Wet Willy Technique could put any child back in place.
As Hanabira made her plea for Kazuma, the diva believed her. As the girl ran off to the shoreline after one Kun Kumo and the other Kun Kumo disappeared with the Raiken boy Kanami’s Hyuuga sense tingled. This sense usually had seventh sense for four things: A) Love was in the air. B) A fashion sale just opened up. C) Those precious shinobi cards and other things she collected just had a new set. D) It was the time of the month. E) An enemy was in the area. Usually in that order too the radar went off and in this scenario B-E were wrong answers. The diva quickly used her Byakugan to scope out each love scenario before the major characters disappeared from sight. Veins became more apparent by the vixen’s eyes and the magnolia orbs seem to have become more clairvoyant. Hanabira was going back to the green haired Kazuma. At least this time they couldn’t get anything on fire. Or if they did, there was an entire ocean nearby to put it out. The female Kun Kumo was leading the way as the Raiken boy followed closely behind. No doubt who would be wearing the pants in that future relationship. “Wh-tch!” Kanami made sound of a whip cracking between her lips and snickered to herself. Also leaving was Aya who was making her way back to the Tenmoki household.
…Which only left her and Kane. A seductive grin crossed the girl’s face. Especially since Himoto, her caretaker did not seem to be around at the moment. Hopefully the ultimate sex blocker was off to bed, before miraculously popping up at the worse moments! Since the Byakugan was already activated Kanami figured she may as well take a ‘peek’ at the goods the Yamanaka held behind his loins. Now the Byakugan was many things, but it did not have the power to view through clothes. That type of penetrating sight belonged to a different clan of dojutsu users. One that went extinct. Still there were ways to get around this. Kanami specifically, because she had wanton and nympho behaviors ever since she was a young lass had figured out a way to get an idea of what she wanted to see.
Because the internal chakra circulatory system was intertwined and wrapped around the muscles and organs of the body a Hyuuga could always get an idea of the form of something. What Kanami was interested in was a muscle and therefore meant a small portion of the network also ran down there. What was interesting is just like how each person’s body is different the chakra system is also slightly different to adapt to that form. So in that region some of circulatory aura cords may be longer, or thicker or skinnier or have a higher amount of energy. Something that after much use of perverted ways the diva had gotten adept in.
In her mind she could picture how conscience. Two little super deformed versions of herself, on in an angelic costume saying ‘No! You must respect Kane-kun’s privacy!’. The other in a little succubus like uniform telling Kanami to ‘Peek! Peek! He’ll never know!’. Yet when the teen got a look of those chakra veins down below…. Well both forms of her conscience had to raise a sign saying ‘12/10!!’. Both forms also decided that ‘he’s a keeper’. The girl’s mouth almost dropped at this realization. The view in fact made her lose focus on the Byakugan and her eyesight became normal almost immediately.
“It’s like he’s carrying a small mace down below.” the girl thought to herself giving the boy a kind smile.

Now that it was only two of them the cover girl decided to get spend some time with him. After all she couldn’t just maul him after a fire. Although that would be interesting…. Before the princess could finish her thought her little nose gave a sneeze. “Ohh great. One of my own water clones may have given me a cold.” the girl thought taking off her jacket. It was wet and so was the strapless black shirt below. The wet shirt seemed to have emphasized her gifted bosom. It was not her intention to get any eye catching attention at the moment, but such an ample bosom in a wet T-shirt would sure draw attention. Perhaps even to the person closest to her. Looking the Yamanaka poster boy in the eyes she also returned a smile. “So that’s your team? It looks like you have your work cut out for you in the future. Hehe.” Kanami’s lips said with a smirk.

Naturally Kane was oblivious to Kanami's antics as he was too busy ruminating on himself and soul-searching. It was probably for the better as if he had realised what Kanami was up to he would have extremely uncomfortable around her and it would have been the end of what could have been a wonderful relationship. Kane could see that this lady was highly skilled and immediately felt at ease when she smiled at him. He was beginning to adopt his nightclub persona - slightly more confident and a lot more forthcoming than his shinobi self. Nightclub Kane treated everybody generously and equally while Shinobi Kane clearly treated everybody differently according to their status. He was deferent to his seniors and highly affectionate to his juniors. At any rate he smiled back at her, his expression turning slightly startled as he saw her face distort. Kane chuckled lightly at her comment and offered, "Here, let me hold that. You should get back home quickly and change into dry things, though... oh!" In a quick move Kane removed his jacket and offered it to Kanami. He couldn't believe it had taken this long for him to realise that he could do that. "You can wear this for now if you want."
He'd been looking away from her as he'd been busy with his jacket, but now that he was looking back at her it was only his shinobi training that prevented his expression from going completely slack. Those were some very nice jugs indeed. Maybe it was just because the fabric of her black shirt was clinging so tightly to it. The dim light from a street lamp somewhere beside them provided a very interesting sight, with various creases outlined with light and shadow. Of course Kane wasn't interested in that though; he was a man after all and why care about chiaroscuro when you could be looking at boobs? Then he realised what he was doing and immediately looked up. He tried to keep his sight from sliding down but the damage was done. Laughing a little nervously, he tried to remember what the little vixen had said to him, and replied, "Yeah. One of them's my sister, actually," he confessed, "if you hadn't figured that out already. They're a pretty good combo," he said, choosing to ignore her last statement or just to take it in a different way. "Forgive my manners," he added. "I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Yamanaka Kane," he said with a grin, showing his pearly whites. "And you are...?"

Gettting to the housing area Sorri had been more annoyed with the happening than it coming as a shoxk, the way thends would catch fire or explodeing was becoming more and more normal the longer her lived on Shima. Besides there were alreadyother peeps cheking out the remians and they weren't conversating some sort of plan so it wasn't an attack. He search for Ero's headband with his unbroken left hand The cloth and had mostly been burnt off but that actual plate was fine. Relivedhe kept his hold of it and start to walk away, clinc bound.

“Thanks. You’re such a gentleman. I’ll have to bring it back in the morning.” Kanami stated, gladly taking the jacket from Kane. She noticed how his eyes came down to her endowment but decided not to make a scene about it. The diva did not mind that he looked. Actually the opposite; she was pleased. After all spending all this time on glamor needs a payoff, right. Since it was a first meeting she didn’t want to make the boy feel uncomfortable. Besides, twilight hours always seemed to be the coldest. At least in the girl’s mind. Her fingers zipped up the jacket. Looking at the teen’s face she listened to his introduction. She returned her own flashy smile with an extension of her palm to shake his hand. “I’m the one and only, Hyuuga Kanami. Commit it to memory cause I’ll be around here for a while.” she stated keeping her model smile. “Ohh I do know a little of you Kane-kun. I help out with the newspaper and one of the little girls there interviewed you before the Chuunin Exams. I think she also has a little crush on you. Heh. Ohh how did the Chuunin Exams go? You must have some great stories of your battle there?”

Kane took Kanami's hand confidently and shook it, enjoying the fleeting impression of the warmth her hand conferred to him compared to the chilly surroundings. "Kanami, huh?" he said with a toothy grin. "Well, Kanami-san on duty. You're really good at ninjutsu," he complimented her. After hearing about his fame amongst the girls of Shimagakure he was a little bit embarrassed, averting his eyes and colouring just for a second. But his confidence quickly returned and he laughed lightly. "I guess maybe I could take her out sometime..." he half muttered to himself in a low voice.
"The chuunin exams?" Kane echoed. "Well, actually..." Kane didn't even have to rack his brains to remember clearly what had happened the day before, but the whole Sukotto's alternate personality thing was probably something to keep to himself. Really, even thinking about that voice vibrating through his brain gave him the shudders. "They set me up to fight a guy from the Tea Country specialising in genjutsu and traps, but our fight was interrupted halfway through by invading samurai," Kane explained. "It was kind of a letdown." And maybe a relief. Kane didn't know how long he would have lasted against the boy otherwise. It had been a sort of stalemate since they were both long-range support fighters. "What about you?" he asked Kanami politely. "Where did you come from... Tonato?" he questioned curiously. If the maiden really came from court she might know a bit about how his extended family over there was doing. "Why don't I walk you back home since it's getting late," Kane suggested as well since it wasn't too appropriate to have moonlight rendezvous with someone you'd just met. Not to mention the fact that Hanabira was probably already back at home.

Sukotto arrived to the housing district in the early morning, entering a scene that seemed to have resolved before he had a chance to assist with anything. Still, he wanted to check and make sure that everything was alright and see if he'd be able to help with anything. After all, he now had a more-than-capable squad under his command, and they needed new challenges to test their ability! The Uchiha noticed two very familiar faces conversing in the area and approached them. Interrupting people was one of the Chuunin's pet peeves, however, he figured that this situation would simply have to be an exception to his rule about manners, as it was his duty as a defender of Shimagakure to assess the situation, and assist if he could. "Ohayo, Kanami-san, Kane-san. I apologize for the intrusion, but one of my squad members saw the smoke from the cliffs, and I rushed down here to see what was going on." With that said, Sukotto merely awaited the response of either of the two Chuunin that stood before him. He wished that he had been notified of to the smoke right when the incident had occurred, but it couldn't be helped and he had to do whatever he could at this time. Dwelling on the past wouldn't help the housing district.
On the Frontier of a New Jutsu
Throughout his most recent training sessions, Sukotto has considered the use of a powerful genjutsu that uses an opponent's weapon against them. He doesn't intend on inventing the jutsu yet, but has decided to put some serious thought into its potentials.

The diva brushed the long bang that usually travels down the side of her face which immediately fell back into its position. “Ohh no. I’m not that special in ninjutsu. I’m probably kind of mediocre compared to the rest of you guys. Ha heh” Kanami began with a small laugh of embarrassment. Not that she wasn’t confident in her ninjutsu skills, but the last thing she wanted Kane to think was that she could make like a giant waterfall or a tsunami. “My taijutsu is much better. Don’t let the looks fool ya. I can get a little physical.”. Now taijutsu she was confident in. Even if some other members in her clan clouded over her taijutsu, she had a lot more confidence in hand to hand than her water arts. Which was ironic because the vixen would try to avoid hand to hand out fear of breaking a nail. Her ears picked up on Kane’s words. She never picked up the news of what happened at the exams. Her journey over to Shimagakure was around that time. Getting placed and everything caused her to miss some of the most important of news. The Hyuuga princess gave Kane a nod at his offer to walk home. “Heh. Kane-kun you’re starting to spoil me. I may want you to carry me home every night. Preferably one without a fire. Heh he.” she smiled and then activated her Byakugan.
“Let’s see where did Himoto go to?” the girl began to search with her eyes. Her sex blocker caretaker had decided to relocate their things earlier that morning, but as to where the girl did not know. This was good or else the Trunk heir would have been incredibly angry that her clothes and collector’s obsession went up in a ten minute giant bon fire. Now was the task to find Himoto. Was she still in the housing district or in the village? Kanami’s eyes searched for the answer, the ivory eyes picking up everything around. Surprisingly the woman could not be found so easily. The older branch member always knew just when to interrupt at the worst moments. Which usually meant that if a male was with Kanami and doing scandalous things… or even if just chatting they would lose a muscle… “Probably for the best that she’s not there anyways….” the girl thought. Still the diva did not want to sleep out on the cold ground!

“Himoto, Himoto, where are you Himoto? If I were a brutal-nun like character where would I be? Probably a temple, but we don’t have that so where is the next place?” the girl thought to herself as the all around vision pierced around. The night’s stars were starting to become a distraction as the girl began to pay more focus on those rather than finding the person she was looking for. Her sight eventually came to a new person coming down to the village at a hurried pace. The femme fatal turned her head slightly to see Sukotto at a short distance approaching. “Hey Sukotto-kun. Running away already from Shisei?” she said in a joking manner. When the boy asked about the smoke Kanami decided to answer him. “Yea. One of the students took a prank too far. Well more like the prank got out of hand. Luckily the combination of the Shima All Stars and the Hyuuga Ace in the Hold managed to put it out quickly. With no damage to anything. ” she stated with a look of confidence on her face. “Well besides whoever had goods inside there. Let me tell you I think one person is going to be upset over their goldfish.”
As she talked with Sukotto her eyes still searched around for the woman. Pretty soon though the clairvoyant orbs began to zoom in on that specific chakra system. The outline of the body became more apparent. The woman was in the Housing District. Seemingly to be at a house that belonged to one of the villagers. Perhaps a friend to the Trunk? She was not too sure, but at least the diva didn’t have to make Kane walk to far now.

The girl’s face looked into the direction in which Himoto was. Yes. The woman was still awake. Probably with a ruler in hand waiting to try and bend the girl over her knee when she came back. Well if that rigid faced woman thought she was going to get her, then she was going senile in her thirties. “It’s this way Kane-kun.” her voice said staring off to the north west of the housing district. Even though her head turned towards that direction the ivory orbs were scanning the two boys (and for once not in a perverted way). It was always interesting how a person’s chakra system was so different from another. Even though it was just over trillions of dots of energy joined and flowing everyone had a different type, much like the skin they wore or the smile a person made. For instance Sukotto’s body had more chakra than Kane’s. The chakra veins in the Uchiha’s body grew thicker around his legs and calves. It was a formation similar to Shisei’s and one slightly common to those quick on their feet. Although it would not be fair to compare the two greatly as they were in different levels. Although he had thicker than the Orochi child and Kane the thicker veins usually meant more power was generated to the legs. For the maverick of snakes it seemed like her would gain more veins, which meant more control. Sukotto also had more than average accumulation towards the head, specifically around the ocular crevices. It is something similar to the Hyuuga as the two clans were dojutsu users. Kanami wondered if that sort of accumulation was apparent in all types of dojutsu clans. It would be something neat to look up.
Kane didn’t have an accumulation of either of these. To some degree his system paled in comparison to Sukotto’s, but that would not be the fully deciding factor. After all, each clan had their own specialties and he was able to fight at the Chuunin Exams. That certainly meant there was uniqueness to him that the other shinobi could not copy or surpass. As to whether it would show itself in his chakra system or not was another question all together.

Kanami’s face still loomed towards the west as her examination continued. Aside from one area the thickness of his chakra veins was average, bordering to nearly mediocre but not quite there. The diva wondered if the breadth was normal for all Shima chuunin. Even though she was viewing many people all at once her mind never decided to pay attention to the shinobi aura vessels. It was only now, but it was certainly a curious topic. She had really only checked the systems of other Hyuuga and people without a clan, which could vary greatly among the normal populace. Despite transverses back and forth to Shimagakure the diva had never really checked out the diverse clans on the island. Now Kanami really did feel like a bubble head. Any other ninja would have at least shown interest. Well in her defense, she certainly got a bit of shoes in between visits and besides, now she could check out everything about clans not only with the byakugan, but by just talking with them. Communication is a much better way to learn about someone rather than just examining in some corner. What good was just a physical examination without a firsthand view of the person? Perhaps another day she would ask Kane about what type of jutsu he knew. He is of the Yamanaka clan and they were a family that had a specialty jutsu. What was it again? The Hyuuga girl was sure she had heard of it before. Perhaps in the newspaper, but at the moment she could not remember it for the life of her. To some degree this frustrated the sly nymph. She needed to start keeping a pad to write down ‘things that may be useful to a shinobi’ for future reference. That or Kanami would need to start doing memory exercises and increase the amount of information the fashion trendy brain could contain.
