Rok acknowledged all of Lin's companions and sat down off to the side. He knew that it would take him a while to get used to so many travelling partners. However, it was good to be around other non humans, versus a group of humans.
When he noticed the scuffle near the bar, Rok stood up. Moving closer, he pulled out his smaller axe, ready to back up the others. But when he realized that they had it under control, he stopped and simply stood rooted to one spot, staring intensely at the frozen man.
"Miss Ashe is right," he said, gruffly.

"It isn't that we are not welcome here anymore. Look at that mans forehead, he has a strange symbol, and it seems to be squirming as if it were a worm. I am guessing, he is probably a minion of a greater enemy, that doesn't want us to live to get to the human capital, and learn details from the human king." She paused, and listened to what all the others wanted to do. She agreed with what Ashe, and Rok thought. "I do think it is best we leave now, but before then, we can kill this man, outside, so as not to leave blood in this inn. The barkeeper wouldn't like it." She held her hands up in another strange symbol, and the frozen man, seemed to slide on some ramp, before going outside. She unfroze his head like Flint wanted, and made some ice steps appear near by, so that Flint could get to the mans height. "Hurry up and finish him off flint, then we should think about going. Lord Rok, I would suggest eating something quickly now, we still need to restock on our supplies, and then we should hurry up, and get out of this town. Being here is putting these innocent people in danger."

Flint coughed to clear his throat, which by many standards was an utterly pathetic sound. "Well, Sir, I will give you one chance to explain why you did attempt to kill that woman, and if you don't answer, I'll make sure you die. Very slowly" Flint said, a malicious gleam in his eye. The man simply growled in annoyance. "That's it? A simple grrr as your last words? Come on, most people at least make it a creative insult" he said casually, before putting the knife up to his neck. Nodding, Rok almost smiled.
"Please do not be offended by my eating habits," he said, leaving the others with this cryptic remark. Turning to the bartender, he reached into a pocket in his tunic and pulled out several coins completely unlike the currency that the humans used. He slapped them onto the counter, and looked down at the man.
"Do you have any raw meat? Minotaurs are quite partial," he commented. The bartender stared at the huge discs of gold with wide eyes. Within a minute, Rok had a piece of raw meat in his hands. He almost seemed to consider eating in front of his new companions, but decided against it. Walking to a corner, he started to eat. Minotaurs were rather messy eaters...

Ashe followed Flint outside and watched him slide the knife into the man's neck. She smelt the blood and magic leave the man as he crumbled to the ground. She then walked over to the body, grabbed his head, and broke the neck. "Just to make sure. We don't know if the enemy can controle dead bodies as well." She then started to rifle through his pockets, pulling out his coin purse, another small dagger, and a small map. "These may come in handy," she said as she put the coins into her purse and the dagger and map into her pack. She then stuck her head inside and called out. "Our guest has been taken care of. We can leave when your ready. I can get the supplies while Rok finishes his meal."

Not really knowing what was going on she continued to eat her meal. She took the last bite of her pancakes and finished off her orange juice to notice that some of her group were standing by the door and then went outside. She didn’t know why, mainly because she was day dreaming, and mostly because she was eating and wasn’t paying enough attention to what was going on. She wiped her mouth with a napkin and walked outside. She saw the strange looking man lying on the floor. He was dead and Sorrow was getting a bit squeamish.
“I’ve seen countless bodies before, yet every time, it just gets to me.”
She noticed the others were getting ready to leave and she did as well. She went back inside looked over at the large Minotaur eating in the corner. She laughed a little and then thought back for a second about that man that lay dead there. She seemed a bit puzzled, his face being the most puzzling. That strange symbol on his head, it was almost familiar.
“I’m ready to go when you guys are.”
She sat down on a chair and waited for the others to get ready. She went to dig through her pockets but then realized she wasn’t wearing her normal grey jumpsuit and stopped herself. She sighed a little bit, missing wearing her favorite clothes. She reached her hands up a bit and let out a yawn. She sat there a bit twiddling her thumbs, anxious to get out. She was beginning to feel like Ashe and Luni, wanting to get out and do something before she went nuts.
Usrah said something about living for a long time. I’ve been around a quite a while myself, although I don’t know for how long. I wonder if we ever crossed paths. I think I would of remembered passing by such a cutie if I had.

Lin walked out, and looked at the dead man. She took out a match, and lit it on a rock near by, before throwing it on the mans body. Within no time the body went into flames, and turned into nothing but ash, an easy pick up for the wind. She walked back inside, and took her animals from the shed. They went outside with her, but while the horse, and the tiger stayed behind; Lin took the donkey with her into the town near by, with a sack of coins rattling at her side. Several minutes later, she had returned with the donkey, who was packed with goods, and all other supplies needed for their journey. It would take at least three days, to a week, to get to the human capital, and she had enough supplies to last a time, before they would have to fish for food, and find wild herbs, and berries that were edible.
Lin was already ready to leave, and she saddled up Mist, before climbing on his back and grabbing the reins. She had gotten more horses for her companions, well the ones she though would need them. All the horses also had saddle bags, full of things for the journey. She was well prepared, but her leather pouch no longer rattled with many coins, it was nearly empty, but she had plenty more, to last, at least a short while. "Is everyone ready? There are horses for those who want to ride them, and I have plenty of supplies for us all." As she awaited for the replies of her friends, she gently stroked Mist's mane, and pet the donkey on the head. This time it had quite a large load, the type of load it was trained to carry. "We also have some spare clothes, and a few extra weapons."

Luniya walked outside and watched her companions dispose of the man. If it weren't for him being frozen and all his death would have been way more painful. She watched Lin leave town and come back fully stocked with supplies. She brought back some horses as well. "Wow, Lin you must have had a good bit of money on yot to get all this," Luniya said as she stroked one of the horses. She mounted the horse and immediately was comfortable. "Well I am ready."

"Born ready" Flint said, flicking his knife shut after cleaning it on the mans shirt. He yawned slightly, stretching his arms out and slinging his back over his arm. He had no idea where he was going, what he was getting into, or how well it would end, but he decided that if he didn't do something sometime soon, he would probably go insane. And going insane would be something crazy, like stealing a ship in port and trying to sail it with only himself to somewhere.

Rok finished his meal and walked outside. Looking first at the horses, then at his bulk, he decided against riding. Instead, he silently stood by, waiting.
"I'm ready," he said, not going into much details. He figured that if Lin had gotten supplies, it wasn't going to do much good to weigh himself with more stuff.

Usrah floated down the stairs and moved to the outside. Many of the tavern patrons were surprised by his frightful visage, except for his face. The way he glided through the air, his black armor, spiked mantle, and flowing cape fit the perfect description of a story-book villain.
He continued to hover as he approached Lin and the horses.
"I am ready for this quest. It has been some time since I have killed the vile creatures of the world. However, you have nothing to fear, for I continue to train everyday and I have never dropped in skill or power."
Usrah paused for a brief moment.
"I must warn you that it is the duty of a paladin to allow his enemy to surrender before battle truly begins. Should the enemy attack first and without hesitation, it is our right to slay said enemy."

On the edge of the village, just before the forest, a Ferghall poked his head around a corner, ears upright and twitching. He was listening for the sounds of persuers, and when he heard no pouding footsteps or heavy breathing, he sat down and relaxed against the wall of a house.
"Lost 'em, huh?" Tyr asked the gray fox before she, too, flopped down next to him. In her hand was the money she had stolen from a local, too bad he had noticed and given chase, but due to her speed charm she had just managed to escape all pursuit. "This should manage to get us through the rest of the journey..." She sighed before pocketing it, and then she leaned back until she had sunk almost horizontal against the ground.
Beside her Ferghall paused in his panting to leap onto her stomach, and once he'd settled himself below her chest armor he let out a huge sigh. "I know, Ferghall, I know; but we're almost there. We just have to deliver the message about the problems back home, and then I swear you'll get to spend all day sleeping in my bed while I sleep on the floor this time." Tyr told her fox companion, reaching down to stroke his soft ears. Though she was tired and hungry, she was still on full alert, and despite being relaxed she could be up and gone at a moments notice with her speed charm.

Everyone was leaving the inn and so did Sorrow. She walked outside again and saw all the horses and Lin’s companions who she really never met before. She found it strange that an elf would be traveling with a horse and tiger. Sorrow slowly approached the white tiger and looked at him. She was a bit hesitant to pet it, fearing it might be feral.
“Does it bite?”
Sorrow was a bit cautious although she pushed herself to touch it. She stroked it’s mane it and it seemed to be friendly. She then walked over to Rok and looked up at him. He seemed very kind too. He was a lot different than what the humans thought of him. He wasn’t scary or evil at all. But that man seemed different. The one that lay dead on the floor. Sorrow looked up at Rok and started to chat with him, she didn’t seem to want to ride a horse etiher.
“So Rok where are you from? I’m glad you’re with us, you look like a pretty tough fighter. I’m glad you’re on our side.”
Sorrow then turned to Lin, lifting her head back down.
“I don’t really want to ride a horse either, I don’t think I’m wearing the right clothing for that. Plus I’ve never had any good experiences riding one.”
Sorrow looked over at Flint who seemed to be as hyper as ever. She noticed the others getting ready to go too. She saw each of them getting ready in their own ways. She looked over to Usrah and her heart began beating fast.
There’s just something about a man who can fly. Maybe I can get him to like me more on the way to the human capital. Hmm maybe I get him to like me if I make him some food. That’s a good idea. Next time we stop for a break I’ll make him a meal he can’t resist.
Sorrow’s face began to get a little red and she wasn’t really paying attention to where she was going. She was walking forward thinking to herself as she walked right into Rok and then fell over. She hit the ground a little hard and looked up seeing the large Minotaur before her.
“Ouch.”
She rubbed her nose and noticed nothing more than small scratch on her right arm. She stood up slowly and regained her composure. She walked over to Usrah, a little embarrassed, and tried to see what his plans for this mission would be.
“Hey Usrah,” she said her face beginning to turn a bit red again. “Do you think we could be traveling companions? I mean do you think we could stay with each other for this journey? You’re a paladin right? You can heal, just like me, it would probably be good for us to work together. You know in case someone got hurt.”
Unable to look at Usrah in the face in more from sheer embarrassment she looked away over at the others who seemed all ready to go.

Glancing down at Sorrow, Rok nodded.
"I am from the city state of Mahn-tor, where the minotaurs live," he explained, hiding a grin when she bumped into him. Then, watching her speak to Usrah, he almost realized what was happening. However, he pushed it to the back of his mind, and instead looked over at Lin. He wanted to get moving, that much was clear from his shuffling on the spot.
Suddenly, Rok wheeled around quickly, feeling watched. However, no one suspicious was in sight. There was only a woman in a silk tunic, quietly bargaining at the nearest market stall. Rok chided himself for being so jumpy, and turned back to the group.
Flint seemed like a hardy young fellow to him. Rok was glad to have him as a companion. As for the girls, he was already enjoying the company of all of them. It was only Usrah that confused him. Having not really spoken to him or even looked at him until now, he was not completely sure about his opinion of the elder. However, he decided, it would be better to get to know Usrah before making proper judgements.
~Come on, Rok. You don't really know any of them aside from Lin, and you made positive decisions on them. Calm down~ he thought to himself, staring into space.

After Tyr had finished catching her breath, she grabbed hold of Ferghall in one arm and pushed herself hastily to her feet. In her arms the fox was asleep already, worn out from keeping up with her frantic escape. She smiled down at him and put her nose to his. You're such a cutie when you're sleeping... She placed the fox around her shoulders, almost draping him like a scarf, and then she was off again.
The thief hadn't gone very far when she saw what could only be described as an extreamly unusual assortment of people. Either there's something bad going on here, or that man completely overreacted to having his stuff stolen and he's hired a bunch of people to come kill me... Tyr really hoped it was the former and not the later, though it was cruel to wish bad things on others.
Then the most amazing thing happened; despite being the kind of shy girl who hates talking to people and avoids them at all costs she found herself actually walking towards them. Maybe it was curiosity, maybe it was just the fact she'd never seen so many different races together, or maybe it was just that she was hoping to find some people to blend into for awhile so she wouldn't be labled strange for keeping to herself, but she was actually walking towards them.
Of course, when you're that shy, there are downsides to looking for other people; Tyr's heart was pounding a mile a minute, her hands were sweaty, her face was turning red from blushing, and she was starting to automatically curl inward as if to disappear.
"E-e-e-e..." She started under her breath as she neared them. What am I doing?! I look like an idiot! Why am I even doing this!? No matter how hard she racked her brain, she simple couldn't come up with why she was doing this; but then she noticed. In the center of her stomach she suddenly felt bad: it was the feeling she always got just before something bad happened. Of course. I guess I'm looking for saftey, and these guys look much stronger than me. "E-e-e-e..." She mumbled under her breath again, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't work up the courage to call out to them.
