Molly's eyes slid open at 5:59 am and her first thought was, this is not my apartment. After a seconds consideration she remembered where she was and turned just in time to beat her alarm she had set for 6 o'clock and turn it off. The obnoxious sound of the alarm grated her nerves and days that she was subjected to its turbulent wail even for a moment always proved to be bad days. But today was not to be one of those days. Molly had plans for today, and she believed they would prove fruitful. Getting up and going about her normal routine of personal hygiene and fashionably professional perfection, took 40 minutes. This was ten minutes longer than usual, but Molly had found her new arrangements less than optimally efficient and was forced to reorganize her routine to accommodate. At 6:42 am Molly exited her room. Molly's clothes were as pressed and neat as ever and her chosen shirt for the day had the lowest V-neck she owned. Accented with a pinstriped skirt suit and a humbling pair of one inch designer shoes, Molly looked on the better side of her normal Great and Fantastic scale. Locating the kitchen from memory, Molly fond it devoid of population that late in the morning, which was disheartening. Dont tell me everyone here is a lazy slob. After confirming that no one was awake to make her food, Molly took to taking care of breakfast personally. All the better, at least now I know ill have a suitable breakfast. At 7:30am Molly sat down to a very appetizing looking breakfast in a kitchen that showed no signs of her passing. The sent of hot coffee passed under her nose made her smile. At 8 am Molly was done with her food, her plate pushed away, and her was enjoying her third cup of coffee while sorting out her schedule for the day in her ledger.

”You don’t seem to be understanding what I am saying.” Charles’ voice was an uncharacteristic tone as he spoke, angry, into his cell phone. ”No. Just shut up for a minute! Listen to me Mal.” There was a pause. ”I said listen to me!” His tone was sharp, ”You are losing me a lot of money right now. No. I don’t care. Of course they were cheap.” He heaved a large sigh, ”Everyone with half a brain knows not to buy in that. We just don’t, ya hear? No. That company is crashing.” A longer pause now, “Where in the ******** have you been!? How did you not know. No. No. Just get me my money back now. Before noon or else Jaydn hears about it. Yes. I file a report twice a day.” Charles shifted some papers on his dresser with his free hand. ”I don’t care how. Just get it back. I will get Miles or Maddox and see if there is some collecting you can do. But get rid of that, we don’t buy in that.” A final pause. ”Get it back and then I don’t want to see you for the next few days. Find your brain, where ever the hell you left it!” And with that he hung up. Charles sighed again and threw the cell phone onto his bed as he located the paper he was looking for. Really, I swear some times my whole team is incompetent. And on that note, Charles started his day. Now he had to have a few guys undo major damage, before it was time to tell Jaydn that he was missing a large chunk of his funds for the month. Exiting his room, Charles made his way down the hall towards the elevator, glancing at his watch, 8:30.

Jaydn neared the kitchen, hearing behind him the opening and shutting of doors. Good, the others are up and about. He walked into the kitchen, spotting Malika just finishing up. He nodded to her as he passed her on his way to the cabinets, saying politely, "Morning Ms. Al-kohen."
He realized that no one else was in the kitchen at the time, finding it slightly strange. Hm... It's not here this morning. Much as Jaydn would never admit it, it had become something of a routine for him to reluctantly accept breakfast from their local crossdresser. It wasn't that Jaydn wasn't able to make his own food, it was just more convenient and time-efficient to have the meal already prepared so that he could just pick up and go about his day.
He took a box of cereal from one of the cabinets, Mm, sugar for breakfast., and a bowl from another. Turning to head back to the table, he met eyes with the blue of his cousin's, who had seemed to have entered the kitchen behind him. The blue that had a lining of sickly color around it on one side. Jaydn's own grey eyes narrowed as he asked dangerously low, "What the hell is that, Ky?"

Kyrin trudged into the kitchen and as she saw Molly at the table, she looked at the woman’s appearance and thought instantly, And I come in looking like this!? Great… Her hair swung lightly in its slightly messy pony tail as she walked towards the fridge. When Jaydn turned and the two were face to face, Kyrin took an instant to collect herself. What the hell is that… that’s what he’s gonna start with. Deciding that if she was going to have to have the lecture anyway that she would at least have a little fun, she looked at the jacket in her arms and replied,”It’s a jacket. Honestly Jaydn, I thought you were smarter then that. And with that she moved to the cabinets in search of plastic bags. As she searched, Kyrin braced herself for Jaydn to explode and she wondered momentarily if Jaydn would do it with Molly present. And as an after though, Kyrin wondered what Molly would think and if she would understand. She couldn’t understand. Kyrin thought lightly, There is no room in her head for another language, its too full of laws that are just going to be broken anyway. And with that thought in mind, Kyrin knew that Jaydn would have to try really hard to continue to speak in Japanese through his anger, seeing as usually when his temper rose his ability to keep to his second language generally decreased dramatically.

The 1978 Doge Magnum roared down the city streets, music blared from the speakers as office buildings passed by in blurs. The sound of rubber, squealing on black asphalt could be heard a block away as Jason fish tailed the car around a corner nearly missing a jogger that happened to be J-walking. That ******** will never do that again. To think I am preventing a crime momma would be proud. Jason thought as he tore passed the wide eyed man with piss running down his leg.
Jason pulled up to the front of the building. He killed the engine and just sat in the car for a moment waiting for the good part of the song to be over. As he pulled the keys from the ignition the street went dead quite. He picked up his hat from the passenger seat and placed it on his head. It was one of those hats you see mobster in old gang movies wearing. Jason got a kick out of dressing like an old school gangster. He got out the car and slammed the door hard and he checked the handle to make sure it was locked. He stooped over and checked his reflection in the candy apple red paint. After he made sure his hat was on strait he walked over to the trunk and popped it. He pulled out a black leather brief case and a steel case before closing the trunk up again. With one case in each hand he walked into the building. With long powerful strides he crossed the lobby as he did he yelled to the secretary at the desk “Call up Mr. Jaydn and let him know a Mr. Oriole is here to see him” Jason headed towards the elevator. He didn’t know where Jaydn’s office was but he smiled to himself. What’s the fun in knowing where s**t is? ********, it is always more fun to explore.” As he approached the elevators he saw the metal detectors. There were few things in life that pissed him off as much as metal detectors. Jason altered his path and walked around the annoying contraption.

Xavier looked up from him computers when a phone rang and a slightly panicked voice came through. He clicked a few keys to bring up the camera that would show the rather vulgar and very obvious man walk into the building and up to the elevators. Xavier’s eyes narrowed as he saw the man walk around the metal detectors and the guard there look as though he didn’t know what to do. The man quickly regained his composure and yelled for the man to stop, but it appeared that the man had not heard him. Xavier spun his chair and faced the computer screen at his left. He clicked a few keys and locked every elevator door on the ground floor. All the other levels would continue to work, but this suspicious man and his brief cases would not leave the ground floor. Standing, Xavier said into the phone, ”Tell this…Mr. Oriole...” Xavier said, as he recalled the name the man had yelled out, ”That Mister Matsui will see him in the office behind the reception desk. Do not say its Jaydn. It will be me. But I want you to specifically say ‘Mister Matsui.’ Yes. I will be down.” And with that Xavier made his way down.
The man that hung up with Xavier walked up to Jason, ”Excuse me sir. Mr. Matsui says that he will meet you in the office there.” He pointed to the door behind the reception desk, “He would like you to wait for him, for he is a very busy man, but he will arrive in just a few moments.”

Jason turned to the guard more than a little annoyed that Jaydn hadn’t told these boys he was coming. “Big boss is comin’ out of his glass tower to see me? I have a good mind to call up that uncle of his and let him know his boyz got no class. Ok well I aint gona sweat yea dog.” Jason stuck out his hand to the guard as if to say after you. He followed the guard to the room and walked in. Jason walked over to a chair he gently placed the black briefcase on the floor next to his chair and sat down. He slid the smaller metal case into his lap resting his right arm on it. He looked over at the guard surprised he was still in the room. Jason laughed. “So I can manage large amounts of his money but he doesn’t trust a niga' to sit in a room by himself. Wish he would show the same concern for our financial endeavors. Jason said this in a quite tone more for himself but just loud enough that the guard could hear him. Slowly putting his hand into his pocket eyes on the guard the whole time he pulled out his wallet. Jason was all too accustom to this movement it was like a silent way of saying I am not reaching for a weapon. He pulled out a fifty threw it on the table. He looked up at the guard again “How about a coffee? No cream I like it black and strong.” a smile slid across Jason’s face.

Molly looked briefly up from her ledger to give Jaydn a' "Good Morning Mr. Matsui". She was contemplating saying something about the lack of a proper cook at this hour when she heard Jaydn speak in Japanese. The speed at which he spoke the language made it impossible for Molly to follow with the very modest amount of Japanese she had taught herself in the past week or so, but she did not miss his tone of voice, and quickly looked up to see who he had spoken to in such a way. Seeing Kyrin's Disheveled appearance made Molly cringe. If I’m ever caught like that in public, please shoot me. The thought was quickly pushed from her mind when she caught sight of the disgusting bruise on her face and the look Jaydn gave her. Molly decided that this was not yet time to get between any of the Matsui clan, but would also be damned if she was going to miss this conversation. Even if she wouldn’t understand a word of it. Kyrin's response seemed to be something about the jacket that she held, which appeared to be a mans jacket. Maybe all that’s left of whoever hit the golden child?. The thought made Molly smile, which she was quick to hide in her mug, less Jaydn see her enjoying the scenario. Kyrin seemed to be trying to ignore Jaydn, but it appeared to Molly that Jaydn was in no mood to allow this. Taking care to appear oblivious to the fight that was brewing in the room, Molly took another sip of her coffee before writing another line in her ledger. This day may prove more interesting than I could have imagined. Malika allowed herself one more smile.

The guard took a moment to steady himself after the man's initial bout of rudeness and looked utterly shocked when the man thought him a waiter that could be bought with money. But before he could make his irritation known, a voice came through the door. "Now now. This is no way to act." The voice sounded nearly identical to Jaydn's if it weren't for the slightly younger feel and the heavier accent. Jason may have even thought the man Jaydn, except for when the owner of the voice stepped into the room he was an orange haired, gray eyed teenager in nice clothing. "You may leave." He said to the man, and with a cautious glance at Xavier, the man took his leave. Xavier closed the door when the guard left and eyed Jason. "Mr. Oriole." He said flatly, "I don't know who you are or where you came from, but you will not come into my building and cause a scene. We are in a place of business here and I demand to know what this is about." Xavier's eyes glistened in irritation. Here this man was, shouting all kinds of things through the building that might attract unwanted attention, and Xavier needed to know why. If he knew Jaydn like he kept saying, then perhaps Jaydn should keep better tabs on his 'gangsters' and have a way to keep them in check. And make them dress decently. Xavier thought, his upbringing making him cringe internally at the other man's attire.

Jason reached over to his beast pocket pulled out a pair of glasses. Upon placing them on his face, his smirk disappeared, indeed everything about the man seamed different from the way he sat, to his mannerisms, to the way he spoke. With this simple act his southern accent was gone, his words weren’t slurred. It was a starling as an actor dropping his mask to show his true face. If it wasn’t for the fact is appearance didn’t change you wouldn’t have been able to tell he was the same man. Looking down at himself he was a bit upset that his clothes had gotten so messed up. He had taken a red eye flight from Brazil and hadn’t the time to shave, shower or change and fashion in Brazil is a bit tacky to say the least; but for good reason he had a 5 million dollar deal proposal in the silver case he held. The deal was time sensitive and needed Jaydn’s signature for completion. “Your building? My good sir I mean no disrespect but I know the two gentlemen that own this establishment and you are not one of them. Also though my name may not appear on any of the legal transaction I have a large amount of money tied up in this business. I am willing to bet I own a greater portion of this companies stock then you yourself do.” Jason leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs, resting his left foot on his right knee. Could I have walked into the wrong building? Jaydn was expecting me? Normally if he can’t meet with me he sends Charles. No they said Matsui means they know Jaydn’s last name and I was very careful not to use it. I am early but even so Jaydn has know me for long enough to know I won’t go through a metal detector. I don’t like this not one bit at all, it smells like a double cross Han should have taught his nephew better than to cross a lord of war. Play it cool Jason. From the time he put his glasses on Jason’s face had showed no expression. On Jason’s left ankle he carried a small pistol it only had two shots but it was made from a carbon composite so it didn’t register on a metal detector. It was also small enough to leave no bulge under his trousers. Crap I hadn’t expected a double cross from such a long time friend. I didn’t come prepared for a prolonged shoot out. As Marcus would have said big mistake little brother you broke the first rule and you let them corner you and everything. If I can’t win physically I will win mentally…ish. Jason picked up his cell phone pressed and held the number 5 down for a few seconds at the tone he slammed the phone against the table corner breaking it in two. “That call was a signal it purges my computer into dozens dummy files and sends them to every major police organization, FBI and what not. Every deal I have made with Jaydn or Han will be released I have two hours to stop this process. Please go inform that double crossing boss of yours, a Mr. Oriole is here to see him and only him. Unless you think I am bluffing. In which case in two hours time we will all be in handcuffs serving 25 to life together and I can talk to him there.” He slid the bill towards this strange orange hair freak and thought. Jaydn’s hiring standards have dropped. I wish he would keep his sideshow freaks on a tighter leash. “While you are fetching Jaydn how about my coffee?”

Nothing about Xavier’s look changed throughout the man’s entire speech, he simply stood, his arms crossed over his chest, looking less then amused. You’d really think Jaydn would inform people of this kind of happenings. And the fact that his brother hadn’t surprised him, but thinking quickly he realized that Jaydn would have had to remember the night before because Xavier had only arrived that morning and after their talk Jaydn had ignored him. Damn him and his temper. Xavier almost let out a smile when the man seemed to think that he owned more in the company then Xavier himself, but the younger man kept his composure and let Mr. Oriole continue. He thinks he’s such a high ranking guy. Wonder how he got off not knowing how I am. Xavier had met all of Jaydn’s men or at least he thought he had, but if this man did indeed work under Jaydn then it was news to Xavier, and not news that he was happy about. As Mr. Oriole took his phone out of his pocket, Xavier watched him carefully, his cool gray eyes never leaving the other man’s. But, when Mr. Oriole threatened both his brother and his Uncle, Xavier lost his almost uncaring look and his expression changed to that of disgust. ”You will refrain from speaking ill of my brother!” His voice was dangerous and his eyes dared the other man to say something else that was a blatant attack on Jaydn. Reigning in his temper he continued, ”First of all, I have a hard time believing that you have ever done direct business with Han, you should well know that he has a man in almost every job and I am aware of them. And secondly, yes, I do believe that you are bluffing. No man would want to go to jail for twenty five years because they didn‘t get their morning coffee and to talk to Jaydn. But, on the off chance that you aren’t bluffing, I wish you a pleasant stay in prison, because my Uncle and Brother will not be accompanying you. If you would like me to save you the hassle, I will call the police for you at the moment and have them take you away now.”
Xavier eyed the man and shifted his stance slightly, ”If you would not like to be relocated to the nearest prison, I suggest that you become a more civil person at this moment and recognize when you are in the presence of someone with higher rank then you. My name is Xavier Matsui and I do believe that I will do until my brother is not otherwise occupied.” Xavier was completely appalled by Mr. Oriole’s manners and wondered when he had been accepted into Jaydn’s ranks. Also, what it was that he did exactly; brief cases didn’t give that away at all.

With laptop open, files strewn about, and pen in mouth, Miles worked. His office was chaotic to anyone else, but to him everything was strategically placed where he could find it. Typing, writing, typing some more. He bit on the pen cap harder. He wanted nicotine, but was trying to hold back a bit. After waking at 4am for a workout, Miles was disappointed to find that his morning mile and a half was a lot harder and slower than usual. gradually decreasing day by day in fact. It was obvious how it had started; smoking on occasion, then smoking casually, then having smoke breaks. He soon found himself chain smoking and it was ruining his fitness routine. Cutting back would have to do for now, but god forbid if he'd let anyone know about it. Throwing the pen cap in the garbage, Miles lit a new cigarette and sighed. Coffee couldn't hold him over much longer; he needed fuel. His mind was buzzing to keep working, but his stomach was arguing for breakfast instead. The papers and files around him were also screaming for attention. To keep his hands and mind busy; to excel in work and feel exceptionally competent; Well, that was more satisfying than food at the moment. He looked at his watch. I'll just finish this first, then I'll eat. Nicotine wasn't the only thing he was addicted to.

At Kyrin's apparent move to avoid the brewing conversation, Jaydn could feel his blood beginning to boil. Immediately losing his appetite, he placed the cereal box and bowl onto the counter, taking a deep breath as if it would calm the murderous thoughts that now filled his mind. Who the f*** would hit her? Whoever it was, they're damn well gonna regret it.
He turned back to Kyrin, but as he went, he caught a glimpse of Malika still sitting at the kitchen table. Right... Honestly, Jaydn had forgotten that Malika was still there. He knew he couldn't fool himself into thinking that he could let the matter go here just because a newcomer was in the room. He also knew that even if this woman didn't know the language, even if Jaydn was to speak in Japanese, there's really little to be misunderstood about yelling, which he was bound to do, as always, with Kyrin. He could however ask something of Kyrin and hope that, for once, just this once in her life if never again, she would listen.
Concentrating on his tone so as not to give away more than he had already to the outsider, Jaydn demanded in the sugar coating of a question, "Kyrin, if we could speak in private for a moment."

Jason’s eyes widened, his jaw dropped. “You fool.” Jason whispered. His ploy had worked better than he had hopped it would; so much so he was sickened. Sure he had expected to get a rise out of the man but never in his day would he have thought he would have gotten so much for such a simple trick. “No you will not due in your brother’s stead you are a liability . I gave you two pieces of information Jaydn’s and Han’s name and only there first names. You gave me their relationship, your rank in this organization, the fact that the two organization are some how connected, and that you can identify all the top men in Han’s organization and this one. You willingly gave this information and all I had to do was break a cell phone? If I was a cop I have enough evidence to lock you up and start an investigation. Let alone I now know, I can goad you into anger and force you to disclose information just by speaking ill of your brother. You are a dangerous man. Never in Jason’s life had he meet a child so stupid even gang bangers knew to keep their mouths closed around strangers. His ploy had worked he was now certain this child hadn’t been sent by Jaydn. So it wasn’t a double cross and Jason now knew this kid didn’t know who he was or what he did. He wouldn’t have been so eager to call the cops if he knew that Jason was a weapons dealer, being that the case he held was treasonous, which is a death penalty. As well as international police would search this building if Jason said a word and international police don’t believe in a fair trial. No this man was a mystery and a dangerous one at that. “I don’t believe you are Jaydn’s brother because I have met him and his name was Maddox. But even if I did believe you, you have proven yourself to be nothing but a liability and I can discuss no further matters with you . If Jaydn is occupied Charles will do.' The look of shock never left Jason’s face despite his wishes for it too. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had broken something expensive and used three names

Kyrin had finished rummaging through the bag drawer and looked at Jaydn just as he glanced at Molly. Seeing the expression on his face for the spilt second of remembrance Kyrin thought the same thing, Molly is new. She smiled internally, He wont lecture now. And for that moment she felt triumphant. Turning her back on Jaydn once more she took ice from the freezer and delicately put the cold squares into her plastic baggie. Perhaps I can actually get out of this lecture… And Kyrin’s thoughts were on that as she dropped cube after cube into the little bag. She shifted Miles’ jacket slightly in her left arm and the scent of smoke and Miles’ cologne wafted slightly about her. She smiled and then frowned, wondering if he was still mad at her. Her thoughts were broken just as she’d filled her bag and Jaydn spoke to her again. Speak in private? Oh no no no. Turning to Jaydn again she smiled,”I have a very busy day ahead of me, I’m sorry, I am going to have to say no for now.”
