I'd look for someone who wasnt a sore loser. Not saying all guys suck at games, but if I was playing with my boyfriend (of which I have none of at the moment) then if the turnout was that I won, I'd hope that he wouldnt get mad. And someone who wouldnt go easy on me. That would be the ultimate "piss-Thesie-off" move.

I wasnt saying I was the best gamer evar, but I'm a fairly strong opponent in fighting/racing games I'm familiar with.

A guy has to be charming and intelligent. Wit goes a very long way. He also should be funny, but that goes along with charm and wit, since that requires a sense of humour and people-reading. He also has to be confident. You hear that? Con-fi-dent. I can't tell you how much that changes the entire aspect of relationships and dating and getting the one you want. Don't be intimidated by rejection, use it. Girls love compliments, the winner knows how to give them.

What gamer girls look for in a guy is the same as what 'regular' girls look for in a guy. Someone who's intelligent, confident, trustworthy and can make her laugh. If you're lacking in one or two of those areas you're unlikely to be able to stay in any relationship for very long, gamer girl or not.
I've dated guys who liked games and guys who didn't. Guys who liked games were a bit more fun to hang out with, but in the long run I don't think it makes much of a difference.

The ones that just act like themselves; the original man. What Im tryin to say is that I dont care if he didnt play video games, as long as he was a good man and would defend me from anything, and if he was wounded he wouldnt tell me, "dont defend me im ok." But it would be great if I had a BF that played video games as much as me. I usaully play it for almost 10 hours until I beat it. like gears of war(hard game.) Ya, lookin for somone romantic...lol. ya Im lookin for someone actually like that..lol. If there was an oppurtunity(which I actually do) I enter a tournament for super smash bros. at the stadium at washington DC ( prize: 1,000,000 bucks.) I usaully come in 21st place(prize:10,000 and a Super Mario plushie doll,) but thats ok. wait, I think theres more, Ill edit this later bye!!

TawakeruDain Personally Ive never gone easy on anyone even if they were noobies to a game, mainly because everything Ive ever gotten good at I played against people WAY better than me and learned from each mistake I made. So really even if you want to take the common misconception that girls aren't great gamers, they can't get any better if you don't play with your all. Personally I think girls can be better gamers than us guys sometimes, so I would never put any of them down by going easy on them 3nodding Im sorry.. but thats true to me folks, thats the only way to win 10 thousand dollars at a super smash bros. melee tournament.

A shitty gamer boy (had one of these a few times):
just wants to get laid and show off to all his friends on teamspeak that he is actually capable of getting a girl. will cheat on you no problem.
Great gamer boy:
Appreciative of everything game you give him, does not spend all of his time playing. When getting the new gen system that you froze your butt off waiting to get, plays it for a while with you and then takes you to dinner. And then the rest is just classic nice boyfriend stuff.

Well, where I live at it's very hard to find a gamer girl but easy to find an Anime girl. Well I'm hoping that I could find one too, one that could understand bad things were back then rather than them being worse, I just want a girl to understand us for us I mean hey we love the games. But those Non-Gamer Girls out there just...don't understand what's it's like when you have a big love for games when you've been playing for 17 or less years believe me I've been playing Vid Games for 17 years and I'll continue to play sadly I'm 22...

It's amazing, I'm a gamer girl myself, and I really like this guy, but he doesn't play video games. Everyone I've met that loves video games just happens to be too weird, geeky, and nerdy. It's terrible, I'm telling you....
How about just an average person who's nice, loving, and isn't geeky/weird that likes Video Games? I can't find any. crying
