Tempted to let her unconscious take over and submit to the darkness she was pulled back when she heard a caring voice call her name. Rain opened her eyes smiling up at him but her laugh turned into a cringe as some pain went through her battered muscles, "You worry to much." His words sinking in slower than usual she was trying to think straight and not particularly filtering her words, "Thats stupid. If its anythings fault its the stupid tree. Or whatever a** hung that rope." Wrapping her arms around her stomach she experimentally propped up on her elbows to look at Henry.

Henry resisted the urge to help her up. He hadn't forgotten her reaction last time when he had unconsciously touched her shoulder. He noted the cringe and said, "We need to get you to the nurse. How to do that though...." He trailed off, coming up with nothing.

Miranda waves a goodbye to Benji. "Yeah..okay see you soon."
Miranda was a little uncertain at the fact of being the only one in her cabin. Sure, she had the privacy and freedom to herself, but she couldn't admit that she was afraid.

A faint alarm passed through Rain's eyes at the mention of the nurse. Old and even still healing scars tended to provoke questions and she didn't like people prying into her life. Not people linked to government anyway. "Actually Henry, I'll pass on going to the nurse. It doesn't feel like anything is broken so it should feel better in a few days." Not sure if that was true or not she felt like she had just been beaten though it as common in her home it still hurt. Getting onto her knees, Rain tried to stand but fell back annoyance coming into her eyes before she sighed defeated. With a sheepish grin she held out her red and rope burned hands, "Ummm, I'm not sure if I can stand on my own at this moment." She didn't like to trust people but at this moment it didn't seem she had much choice, plus she was starting to trust Henry a little more than the common people she met. It was comforting to have someone notice you are alive and seem to care if it ended.

Henry nodded, understanding what Rain was asking. He hesitated, before he clasped her smarting red hands in his own pale and cool ones, and pulled her up into a standing position. Perhaps a little closer than he had intended. He flushed and took a step back, but still held her hands, making sure she could stay up.

The coolness of his palms felt soothing against her own though her face colored lightly when she found him so close as she was pulled to her feet. As he took a step back, "Thanks." she said with an embarrassed sincerity. Testing her stability on her feet she wobbled lightly but her leg threatened to give way making her wonder just how hard she had hit herself. With a slightly ashamed look, "Sorry about this. Normally I am not so much of a klutz when it comes to trees." Looking across the river she wondered what was on the other side and about the rope but she figured she had given Henry enough of an ulcer today. Though many would find it some what hard to believe after what just happened, Rain grinned, "One last adventure before you drag me back to some bed rest?" Though she wouldn't be at all suprised if Henry said no nor would she hold it against him, she was doing good to stand and as it is, some things were better left unprovoked until a later time.

"Haha, no need to worry so much," she said, amused by the fact that he was stumbling over his words so much. "I'm sure I'll love it too, though I might miss the homey atmosphere occasionally." She leaned back against the wall behind the bed and stared at him, wondering what else she could ask. "Hmm...are you any good at card games?" A deviant glint had come into her eyes.
Alex waited for the man to leave before relaxing. He missed the jealously that crossed Ayumi's face as he stared after the older guy, wondering what was really going on with this camp. Sighing, he finally turned back to the others. "C'mon. We can show Miranda her cabin, then head on over to the fire pits and wait."

"Alright," Isabella said with at least some enthusiasm. She had also missed Ayumi's jealousy. "G - 3, right?" She looked down at Miranda's brochure, but couldn't see much in the light that the sun produced, which was no longer very much. Benji had seemed more normal after the conversation had ended. At least, more normal than it had been with the female counselor she had met earlier.
Cameron's cheeks changed color, barely noticeably as she realized his stumbling. He hated when that happened, especially now. He watched her face as she asked the question, noticing the look in her eye. "I'm alright," he said, almost laughing. "Why?"

"'Cause I wanna play poker, that's why." She laughed, finding no need to hold it back this time. "Now I know I won't have to go easy on you." Smirking, she reached into her cargo pants and pulled out a deck of coca-cola cards. Taking out the cards, she tossed the now empty box towards the end of the bed and began to shuffle. She was as good as the people who worked in casinos, if not better.

"Great! Let's go to the cabin. It's getting chilly out here anyway."
Miranda waits for someone to lead the group to her cabin. The last thing she would want is walking alone in this place.

Isabella had half expected Ayumi or Miranda to spring forward to lead the group. Since neither of them did, she stepped out. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she asked, grabbing the wrists of Alex and Miranda, the two people closest to her, and pulling them along for a couple of seconds before letting go. Her more perky and hyper side was breaking though, but only slightly. "Come on already!" she said playfully.
"We're not betting money, are we?" Cameron asked as he watched the cards fly across the hospital bed, thinking of his empty pockets. He hadn't brought much to any money to the camp, figuring he wouldn't have to buy anything, since they were supplying all the meals with the money his parents had to pay to get him shipped down here. In any case, clearly, Odori was feeling better. He was slightly unnerved, and knew that there was no way the Odori would possibly lose to him. Going easy on him would probably be a good thing.

He gaped slightly when Isabella grabbed his hand and pulled him forward, though he shouldn't have really been surprised. He had vaguely sensed this kind of thing in her when he had first seen her and found it amusing. Smirking, Alex reached forward and ruffled her hair, messing up the neat do. "Take your time, midget..."
"Nope, no money," she said, grinning again at the cautious look that flittered across his eyes. "Naw, my 'rents wouldn't give me money for something like that!" Hell, her parents didn't give her anything but harsh words and even harsher beatings. Not that she was going to mention it. Besides, it was more her mother than anything, her father being too drunk to notice most of the time. "We're just playing to play." At this, she grinned again and picked up her hand, though didn't look it. "The game's five-card draw, 5's and suicide kings wild."

"Isabella, I'm sure Alex and I can walk just fine. You don't have to hold our hands."
She chuckled as she saw Alex ruffling Isabella's hair. It seemed like a brother/sister gesture in her perspective.
'How cute.'
Miranda adjusted her posture, picking up her bags and sternly followed Isabella along with Alex to her assigned cabin.

Henry looked at Rain in surprise. "Don't you think you've gotten into enough shenanigans today?" he asked, though he admired the way she sprang back up after a nasty fall. "Do you want me to take you to the nurse or your cabin?" - Ayumi laughed as Alex mussed Isabelle's hair. "Alex, if there's one thing you need to learn about girls, it's this - don't mess with the 'do," she said jokingly. She caught up to them and finger-combed Isabella's hair briefly, restoring it to its former perfection.

Isabella laughed at Alex, glad he was smiling and feeling Ayumi comb back through her hair. She stumbled backwards a little on purpose, nearly falling into Alex, but instead walking beside him. "I'm not that much shorter than you," she said defiantly, but playfully, after thanking Ayumi, but leaving her hair slightly ruffled and unkempt, though she wasn't sure why. Then she turned to Miranda with a smile as well, hoping for forgiveness. "Sorry," she said quietly, almost shyly, which was unlike her.
"Good," Cameron breathed, knowing easily that Odori would beat him without much effort in a game that had anything outside the range of luck. He seemed pretty lucky himself. Growing up in New York, going to a rich school... "Alright," he added, before realizing that he had no idea what she was talking about, aside from what five-card draw was. He had played that a long time ago with his father. Still, it seemed stupid to ask, and he didn't want to appear stupid in front of Odori, and so he said nothing more.
