Lexis nodded, taking the hint, and followed her gaze to the pond. He looked at it for a moment, until a sudden movement averted his glance. He looked ahead, towards the woods, and saw a snow rabbit hopping along. It was hard to see since it still had its white winter coat, but the fact that it was hopping about looking for food made it easier to notice. "Hey, do you see that?" he whispered to Talitha, pointing toward the hare.

Talitha looked to where Lexis had pointed, spying the hare as it hopped again. "Oh! Cool!" she breathed, not wanting to scare it as she began to inch toward it quietly. Her eyes sparkled warmly as she gazed at it, "Isn't it cute?"

"Yeah, it is pretty cute." he whispered to her as she began inching toward it. A thought crossed his mind to say that he thought she was cuter, but since she was trying to get a better glance at the hare he decided against it (lest he should scare the hare away). At least for now. Lexis followed her closely, almost right beside her, as the rabbit continued to hope around, nibbling at a little grass here and there. At the moment it was not aware of the two namrah just trying to get a better view.

Talitha nodded, creeping forward next to Lexis as close as she dared, holding her breath for fear of disturbing the snow in front of her. She was holding her breath as well for the reason that she was so close to Lexis that her fur could have brushed against his. Then her back paw hit an airbubble on the surface of the pond and cracked through the ice, making her freeze and stare wide-eyed at the rabbit. The blood began to pound in her ears as she waited, still holding her breathe, to see if the hare would be scared away.

The hare suddenly glanced over upon hearing the ice crack, and stared unblinkingly for a moment or two. Lexis held his breath, moving not a single muscle, and noted that Talitha was doing likewise. The little hare seemed to contemplate them for a few moments before taking a couple of hops away. Then it went about its business, watching the two namrah out of the corner of its eye.
(I think this hare must have seen namrah before and doesn't recognize them as a huge threat)

Talitha let her breath out slowly, releived that the hare hadn't taken much notice of them. "It's so cute!" she whispered, staying where she was in case her movements would catch its attention again and this time it would decide they were dangerous.

"So are you," Lexis remarked in whisper with a smile, figuring that now it likely wouldn't cause the rabbit to run away. And indeed, the hare took no notice the the semi-silent words spoken by the two of them. Still, Lexis was just a little worried that maybe Talitha would get scared off by him saying that he thought she was cute. If there was one thing he knew for sure, it was that she could get scared off of the whole idea of being in a relationship if it didn't move along at a slow pace.

(*Pounces random peices of confetti*)
Talitha felt her ears grow hot and her face turn a little red as she realized what Lexis had said. "R-really?" she asked, finding that it didn't bother her as much as it would have before she spent so much time with him. Before she could help it a small giggle escaped her, and she instinctively flicked her head, pretending it was a sneeze while trying to stop her face from turning redder.

"Yes, you are," replied Lexis, happy that she didn't seem too terribly bothered by his statement. She was blushing noticibly, but otherwise she seemed alright. At least that's what the giggle/sneeze told him. The hare looked toward them at his words, indicated that he had spoken just a tad too loudly, but after a few moments it went back to what it was doing.

Talitha happily settled down more comfortably to watch the hare, enjoying the moment as if sitting down to watch the sunset even though it was still fairly early in the afternoon. A contented sigh escaped her and she smiled at the hare, her green eyes glowing softly.

The hare happily bounced along, unknowingly getting closer to the two namrah watching it. Lexis wondered how long it would take before the rabbit would notice. Still, he was very happy to simply sit here with Talitha and watch the wildlife. It was such a peaceful sight to view with someone special.

Talitha was enjoying their calm repreive from skating, her eyelids drooping a little at the serenity of the scene. The hare was getting closer still, and her head was beginning to drift down to her paws, and then her stomache growled. Her face turned bright red as she sat bolt upright and smiled sheepishly as she whispered, "I guess it's time for lunch for us as well?" Her eyes flittered from Lexis to the rabbit, wondering if it was truly going to be freightened off this time.

(Does Neko have any birthday cake to snack on to satisfy her hunger? biggrin )
The hare nearly jumped when Talitha's stomach growled, not realizing how close it was to the namrah. When it started to think that the namrah might think of it as a possible food source the hare bounded off into the wood. Lexis replied, "Lunch would be good. I'm a little hungry myself," he added, though his stomach wasn't growling to support this fact.

(No, she wont be getting cake unil this weekend, but then she'll be getting cake and steak and potatoes! twisted heart But for now she has pizza whee But she was hungry when she typed it xd )
Talitha blinked a little sadly when the hare ran off, but then she figured it probably had a home to go to and smiled. "Shall we see if Chaos has any more fish?" she asked, wondering if they were intruding too much on Chaos's home. The word 'Home' had a nice warm sound to it, and she started to wonder how homes were started. Chaos and Treasure had their homes practically together, Vana said he was at home with Kirsa, and Tolfitken's home used to be with Obsidian, and Brightshadow was currently looking for her home. Talitha began to wonder where her home was as well...

"Sure, if you're in the mood for fish. I certainly wouldn't mind, that was some pretty good fish," he added with a smile. He wasn't entirely sure about raiding Chaos' fish supply for the second time in one day, yet at the same time he knew that fish has a tendency to go bad when it isn't eaten soon. That and Chaos would probably be more than welcome to share it.
(I think it's too early in their relationship for her home to be with Lexis, so I guess for now she's just drifting. Same with Lexis too. ^^)
