Alice gasped. Her fear dissipated and was replaced by pity and an over whelming urge to help her. She took a few lithe steps to the fallen girl. She had said Demyx's name. Did she have some kind of special connection to him? Alice wondered. She saw the black tears flow from her eyes. Are you alright? Alice could tell she was a vampire, and tried to connect to her telepathically. She reached down towards the girl, placing her hand on the girls shoulder. Please I want to help you. Alice tried again.

Syvra watched as he stroked his chin. How sexy. Just run that hand along my chin or in my hair and I think we would have something. She sensed his calculating nature, saw his eyes sizing her up. Ah, so he means to use me. How lovely. If only he could. Jack stepped closer, and Syvra's senses tingled with anticipation. It'd been so long since she'd been this attracted to any guy, and this attraction was almost driving her wild. He stepped closer, all the while talking about getting a secret out of Demyx, about the new girl, the elemental Demyx was watching over. Jack ran his hand through his hair, and Syvra almost licked her fangs in anticipation. He stepped closer once more, they were almost eye to eye now. And then he stepped away! So he wants to play coy until he gets the information he wants. Interesting. It's the same thing I would do. Syvra looked at him, her eyes glowing slightly brighter again. She walked over to a tree and leaned her back against it, one boot on the ground one on the tree. "Oh, that look wasn't meant for Demyx. It was meant for you. I didn't like the way you looked at me. And I have nothing to be jealous of. However..." She took a step away from the tree in Jack's direction. "If you keep looking at me with those eyes, I might not be able to resist." She turned around, her back to Jack. "You see, I already have the information you want."
--------------------------------------------------------
Cora was out cold. She was wrapped in the black blanket of unconsciousness, but then she felt a push at her mind. Are you alright? Please I want to help you. Cora grabbed onto the telepathic connection, using her own to strengthen it. You can't help with this, spirit elemental. Yes, I know who you are. I'm one of a pair of twin vampires that go here. When me and my twin sister were born, I was cursed with this thing you see now. If I get upset, this happens. And if I don't stop it soon, somebody else might die. These black tears are at this moment searching for somebody, and as soon as they make a connection by touching them, they suck the life out and return it to me. I always try to hide somewhere where the tears can't find anybody, but in my delirium, I chose the top of the school....I don't want anyone to die!

he seemed to take mental note of everything he saw, studying all his surroundings. He smiled as though pleased with the tour he was getting-
I am surprised this school hasn't been destroyed by constant battling between the clan members. I am impressed by this school's layout and feel, much better than many of the schools those humans attend lol Does this school have a library and a Gym?

Maybe...if I use my powers...I can lift her curse.. Alice thought. But then she suddenly pushed that from her mind. She knew it was a stupid idea and that she would wind up killing them both. Do you know how to stop it? I can hold the tears back with my telekinesis, but I am weak and I dont know how long it can last. Please, you can do it. I am here to help you.Alice tried comforting her with her mind, all the while using her powers to hold back the puddle of tears. She could feel her energy draining from her. She could hear some ones voice in the distance. But her fleeting energy was making it difficult to concentrate on anything else other than the task at hand.

Sakura nodded at his question; right now they were in the school's empty halls. He seemed to be taking his time with noting details and figuring out what was what inside the seemingly-vast school. "Yeah; the library is down at the end of this hall, and to the right. The gym..hmm...." it took her a moment to remember, since she only went in there a few times (PE was mostly outside unless it was bad weather, and she wasn't a big sports fan. Therefore, she didn't go to any sports games). Finally remembering where it was, she snapped her fingers in realization. "Oh! Ok, the gym should be down this hall, then take a left, then another left. Then it would be on the right; it's hard to miss once one is on the correct hall." she answered.
There was one thing about him, however, that she couldn't figure out; why didn't he run away from her, or attack? Lupines and Vampires were supposed to hate each other deep within their guts, so why had he been friendly? But wait....he had already answered this question; he was against the war. This was definately the first vampire to say this though, since it was the vampire leader who was killed.

I hope the library is vast, i'll have plenty of things to read! You are nice I hope the others are like you. Who do you think started the war?

You are nice I hope the others are like you. Sakura turned pink at this comment, but restored her current face color quickly enough so taht he wouldn't have noticed. "Yeah, the library is pretty huge; alot of people go there, but it's no problem to find a quiet spot. Oh, and for a heads up, the Sports group has 'claimed' the spot in the corner with the red posters. To save yourself from getting attacked, avoid sitting that those tables; I've seen plenty of new people get black eyes from that." she remembered suddenly.
"As for the war, I'm really not sure. While they said that the vampire leader was killed, there are plenty of time when the media dramatizes things, or mixes them up. So, I'm really not sure." she answered honestly with a shrug.

Cora revived some, and as she knelt and sat on her legs, she tried to summon enough strength to take the tears back, but it wasn't enough. The tears still fell, and as Cora's shiny black eyes looked over at the puddle, she saw the girl struggling to hold them back herself. I have never stopped it before, probably because i would run and try to hide where nobody could find me. Not even my twin knows about this. She thought to the girl. She tried not to look at Demyx, who she thought was probably looking at her in revulsion. She turned away from his direction, trying to keep her black eyes from fixating on his face. Instead, she looked straight into the girl's eyes, her blacks ones connecting with the girl's blue. If worst comes to worst, I want you to seal the tears in with me and end my nightmare!

No! Dont say that!!! You can do this!!I believe in you! Alice mentally pleaded. Alice hated death, it pained her. And she didn't know if should deal with herself if this girl died before her. Alice stared back into the girls dark eyes, pleading, the moon glinting off of her blue irises. Suddenly a shooting pain shot up threw her arms. A small tear had leaked on to her hand soaking through her gloves, burning her, consuming her. Alice tried to heal herself but didn't possess enough energy. Please!!! Help!! You can stop it! I know you can! Alice's panic thought traveled to Cora, more urgent then the last as the tear consumed her life force.

((Stupid computer is so slow!))
Jack’s eyes never left Syvra as she paced. A playful smile touched his lips as she told him a surprising but welcomed bit of information. “Then you are even better then I thought, dear Syvra!” He was finding it hard to hold down his excitement. He trotted over to her, his hand patting her cheek softly. “You really are fantastic!” His hand fell away from her face as he turned away to pace for himself. “And are you going to tell me, or must I beg?” He smiled, still pacing, but now looking at the ground with his hands in his pockets. “I’d be willing to.” But under his playful words there was an obvious hint of anticipation. He wanted this information and he wanted it now. His gray eyes flicked up to hers, staring at her like he was going to explode.
-------------------------------
Demyx watched as Alice dove for Cora. He felt so helpless. Part of him wanted to scream at Alice to fix her, but the sensible part of him knew that it could kill her, and that he had asked her never to use her powers to heal others. It seemed like a hard rule to follow in a situation like this. “What the hell is happening?” He cried out as black tears formed into dark puddles that snaked away from the girls. But he got no reply. “Alice? Alice….?” Suddenly Alice, too, was looking weak. Demyx ignored any bad feelings he had about the tears and leapt forward. His boots splashed through the liquid as he ran to them, his arm reaching out to grab Alice before she too could collapse. “Cora! Please Cora, stop this!” He sank to his knees, still supporting Alice. His free hand went around Cora’s waist, trying to scoop her out of the growing pool.
---------------------------------
Rose watched as Alice climbed out of the window. “She is a strange girl…” She muttered to herself. A few quiet seconds went by. They were oddly peaceful seconds that would be wiped away so quickly by screams that Rose would not have the time to even realize they existed at all. “What the-” Rose threw herself out the window, only to find that Alice was in worse trouble then she could have feared. Demyx looked up at the sound of her feet pounding against the roof. His eyes stared at her pleadingly as he struggled to raise both girls out of a strange black liquid. Rose wavered at the edge of the pool, wary. “Hold on, I don’t trust this stuff!” She held out her hands, and from them shot large vines that wrapped around the liquid, trying to contain it. But despite her best efforts, it was still spreading around. “I….cant…stop it!” Rose panted out, throwing all she had at it.

As he put his hand on her cheek, she turned into it, but almost as soon as he had placed it there, it was gone. Ah, I think he's trying to tempt me, she thought. She turned around to face Jack's now pacing form. "And are you going to tell me, or must I beg? I'd be willing to." Syvra smiled, her fangs glinting wickedly in the moonlight. She could hear that anxious undertone. He wants to know so badly about Alice. Hmmmmm, I wonder what I can make him do. She could see his muscles bunched, straining for some kind of release. When her gray eyes connected with his, she smiled nastily, bending her knees slightly, saying, "I'd love to see you beg, but it might not be to my satisfaction. What would I get in return for telling you. I far as I can see, I don't like this deal." And Syvra prepared to leap into a nearby tree and disappear into the forest.
-----------------------------------------------------
Believing isn't the same as accomplishing, little one, Cora sighed on the inside, bowing her head and closing her eyes, tears still flowing. And then a tear made a connection. She felt the life flowing into her, and she almost sighed gratefully, that is, until a desperate plea sounded through her head like a huge alarm bell. Please!!! Help!! You can stop it! I know you can! Cora's snapped open and her head whipped around to look at Alice. Oh God! Alice! She barely heard Demyx, until he had splashed to them both through the tears that wouldn't harm him anymore now that they had found a victim. As his arm snaked her waist, she almost became completely distracted, but for Alice's sake, she drew her thoughts back to Alice. Her head fell back in exhaustion, but she brought it back up in time to see an earth elemental try to stop the tears that ignored everybody, but Alice. She struggled to control her breath, and then she drew her head to Demyx's ear, choking out words with all the strength she had. There was no time to waste. "I have no time to explain, but I need you to drop Alice and focus on me. I need you to do everything I say to stop this. I need you to make the hottest fireballs you've ever created in the palms of your hands and hold them there. Then I'm going to hold hands with you, and intertwine my fingers. Don't worry about burning me, just make that fire the hottest u've ever made in your life."

Alice screamed out in pain as her powers were fleeting, her very soul being sucked away as more and more tears flooded her. Any other person would be dead by the, but due to her spirit powers, it delayed her death. Alice's eyes closed, she felt as if she was being consumed by boiling water, unable to surface, the light growing dimmer and dimmer. "Cora....Demyx...Rose..." Her words barely whispers as she faded. She knew she was dying. Slowly the pain eased, until it was a dull aching. The light stopped fading, freezing into a mere dot in the distance. Then suddenly the light grew, the thick waters of her mind grew shallow, her thoughts were clearer. Her eyes fluttered open, she gasped for air. She felt as if she had stopped breathing. Unable to suck in as much precious oxygen as she wished. Her lungs ached, her whole body felt as if she had been hit by a mac truck.

Jack took a few tentative steps forward, suddenly afraid that Syvra would bound away. “Wait, don’t leave me!” He blurted out. “I can see why you would think this deal isn’t quite fair.” His voice sounded more composed, but still anxious and with a hint of temper. He took a moment to further calm himself. When he spoke again, it was with a cool, nonchalant voice, and even part of his sly smile was back. “You really are a crafty one. Well, I will play your game. What do you want? I will give it to you., just name it.”
--------------------------------------------
Demyx did not question Cora. He reached out his arm that held Alice and let motioned his head for Rose to grab her. Rose flew over, now running through the tears, and grabbed the spirit elemental. “Go. Take her away from here.” Rose nodded and obeyed the Liceryth leader, dragging Alice over to the window and away from whatever the two had planned. It hurt him to do so, but he had to set Cora down too. Demyx stood and stared down at his hands, suddenly unsure of his power. If he failed, Alice would surely die. And so I cannot fail, he told himself. Sparks, like hot coals being struck with a match, began to flair to life in his palms. They ebbed for a moment, but one look at Alice’s body far away, limp as a doll, and Cora’s body, hardly any better, was more motivation then he could ever need. A raging blue fire burst from his hands, pounding the roof with waves of heat. The air pulsed and embers rained down before blinking out. Demyx shut his eyes, willing for more heat, more fire. It snaked up his arms and chest, and when he opened his eyes again they were a shocking swirl of reds, yellows, and blues. He cried out as the power poured out of him. It was like his episode in the forest, only with a power he had to pull from deep inside.
