"I'm in the guest room of Saffron's Pokemon Center. But, since the security's tight here, I'll meet you in Lavender Town... is that okay?" Nina had calmed down somewhat.

"No Nina, you stay there in Saffron. I can get there faster than Lavender. Stay right where you are, got that?" Kasiya said, knocking over a small table in her hurry to get ready. "I'm on my way." She hung up without waiting for a response, and struggled to clean up the mess she had just made.
"Kasiya, what are you doing?" Nurse Joy flipped on a light, further startling Kasiya.
"I've got to get to Saffron," she said, tears in her eyes. "One of my friends is in trouble!"
"Well," Joy said, helping her straighten up the table and the pamphlets, "I can lend you a Mach Bike if you'd like. Just bring it back," she said.
"Really?" Kasiya said, her eyes growing wide. "Thank you, Nurse Joy!"
The kindly nurse unlocked the bike for her out behind the PC, and Kasiya was on her way, riding faster than she ever had before. The Mach Bike was amazing, and Kasiya decided to buy one whenever she got the chance next.
"I'm coming, Nina! Hang on!" she called into the night.

"Wake up you dolts!" The annoyed Team Aqua men started kicking their Pokemon, quickly waking them from their sleep rather quickly.
The Zubat eyed Portabello and lunged at the small grass Pokemon, teeth bared. Shiver saw the attack coming and fired and Icicle at the charging bat, sending it flying past the Shroomish. Portabello let out a cry of thanks, but then looked in horror as the three other Pokemon tackled Shiver, teaming up on him.
"Nitro, help him out! Titanium, stay on guard and protect Portabello!" Mike shouted as he watched his best friend being beaten savagly.
Teeth tearing at his shell, the Carvanha bite Shiver multiple times as the Tentacool and Mighteyena pryed open his shell. Shiver shreiked in pain as the assault continued, totally helpless to the ongoing attack. The piranha Pokemon was just about to lunge in for the final strike when Nitro came in and gave him a full body tackle, knocking him into a nearby stone. Shiver took the moment of surprise to shake of his attackers and withdraw into his shell.
Mike recalled Shiver, afraid of what the ravanous Pokemon would do.
It was now 3 versus 4, odds against Mike.

After giving a mighty blow to the attacking Pokemon, Nitro raced in and gave Carvanha a scratch attack, his claws tore into the fish's flesh as it cried out in pain. It countered with a feirce bite attack, peircing Nitro's left arm. He managed to bat him off with his right, and stood there holding his now useless appendadge.
Carvanha was sure to at least finish off one opponent today as he rushed in, opening his maw and baring his mighty fangs.
"Groooo!" The Carvanha was halted mid-transit by an angry Steelix, slamming the water Pokemon with it's tail. The injured Pokemon whipped around with a Water Pulse, slamming into Titanium with super effectiveness.
"Help him out Tentacool, drown that oversized snake!" Shouted Marty, pointing at the Steelix.
"Tenta!" It fired Bubblebeam at the already hurt steel serpent. Both attacks caused Titanium great pain, as he roared one last time before collapsing.
2 versus 4 now, not looking good.

She clutched her Pokeball within her first. Hard. Why do they all think I'm such a pushover! I can fight, I can help. I'm not a useless damseil in distress. She gritted her teeth refusing to recall Ivy. She wasn't going to run for safety, even if it meant risking her life. She called out Kirlia too, just in case.

Riding through the cool night air was exhilarating, but Kasiya knew she didn't have time to enjoy it. Nina needed her, and she was going to make it to Saffron City no matter who was standing in her way. She approached the city limits, whizzing past signposts and people out for a late evening stroll. She noticed that the path she followed started to decline a little, so she'd be able to coast a ways before pedaling again.
Riiinnng! Her PokeNav went off again, making her jump for the 3rd time in 10 minutes. She let it ring a few times before trying to reach into her pocket to answer, just as the front tire of her bike hit a small stone in the middle of the path. The bike skidded out from under her, and she went over the handle bars and landed hard on her left side. A searing pain shot up through her left arm, and she sat up, seeing the bike on the other side of the road, its pedals and wheels still spinning. She looked at her left hand. It was mangled, and covered in blood. She was sure it was broken. Riiinnng! She clicked it on with her good hand, and raised it to her ear, her whole body shaking with shock.
"H-hello?" she answered, tears streaming down her cheek.

Two agaisnt four. Mike had better pull out some miracle, or she was going in herself no matter now much Mike didn't want it. She whispered something to her Pokemon who were just about to rush in. Still clutching her Pokeball she watched with intent eyes. The Auqa grunts hadn't even notice her, nor her Pokemon.

Watching in terror as Titanium was taken out right in front of him, Nitro dashed over to a trembling Portabello. Standing back to back, they watched as the four Pokemon surrounded them from all angles.
Mike could only watch as he fumbled with stragedys in his head, none of which seemed to work. He felt tears coming on, as he finally shouted. "Portabello! Mega Drain!"
Nodding his head, the small grass Pokemon hopped forward and glared at Carvanha.
You.
Suddenly a mass of green sphere's flew out of the fish Pokemon as his vitality was robbed of him, soon the Pokemon collapsed on the ground, unable to continue.
Surprised, the Zubat tried once more to attack Portabello, latching onto his head and sucking some blood from the stuggling Shroomish. Nitro interveined and whipped his tail, knocking the Zubat off of Portabello and tumbling a few feet, blood dripping from his fangs.

Kasiya breathed heavily for a few minutes, the pain beginning to burn in her hand. "Yes, it's me," she said, biting her lower lip so hard she drew blood. "W-who's t-this?"

"Time to finish this little game, Zubat, Supersonic that Shroomish!"
"Tentacool, use Acid! Mighteyena, bite it!" Marty and Vince could just see their boss praising them for completing their mission, they looked at each other and smirked, then focused in the battle.
All three Pokemon dashed at Portabello, who cringed in fear. He expected that his life was over, and he didn't want to die!
But death never came...
"Chaaaaar!" Nitro sheirked a blood curdling cry as he was hit by all three attacks simultaniously. He had doven in front of Portabello and slumped his body over his to protect him. "Char!" He cried again, feeling the poison seep into the bite marks that Mighteyena had caused.
After a few moments of this, Nitro's body shut down, and he limply fell over ontp the ground beside the now crying Shroomish.
"NOO!!" Tears soon erupted out of Mike's eyes as he ran to his Pokemon, but was halted by Mighteyena's roar.
Portabello looked at Nitro, who had nearly died to save his life. He looked at the wounds that he carried and almost felt sick. He nudged Nitro in hopes of waking him up, but to no avail, he was out cold, and in danger. Fear soon was replaced by pure rage as the Shroomish glared at the three Pokemon that had done this to his new friend.
"...Sh...sh...SHROOOOM!" he cried as his tear soaked eyes soon glowed a brilliant white.
